perhaps you should tell this to the 1 billion muslims in the world and the thousands of converts every day. im sure theyd like to hear more from your distorted and skewed point of view.

taking things out context? we know muhammed took part in numerous slaughters/murders, we know he admittedly lied, we know the religion's basis is founded solely on his insane rantings of seeing visions and proving that his visions were real via a birthmark he had. yes, i see a vision of a city, and its umm jerusalem. yes! ive never been to the city, but i have spoken that this is to be a holy city, so it must be. yea, thats the very definition of insanity.

muslims believe jesus was a prophet and what he said was basically true...yet that completely defies logic, considering christ said he was the only messenger of god and no one would come after him. muhammed took christianity, stole parts of it, perverted it, turned it violent and called it a religion.

lets be honest, when your religion was started by a madman, youre whole system of ideals is a sham.

We seem to be forgetting our history a bit. Or ignorance of any country except your own. Remember the IRA, the Baader-Meinhof Gang, the Red Brigade, or how about home-grown nuts like Timothy McVeigh or the Unabomber. All terrorists not a one muslim.

Islam as a religion is much closer to Judaism than it is to Christianity. They even share common creation and flood stories. After that it gets fuzzy. The jewish tradition is one full of violence and visions. Remember the promised land, moses only knew about it b/c god told him it existed. And when they first arrived it was inhabited by giants that they were ordered to kill. There are many stories where they were ordered to kill other peoples entirely. Never mind the Crusades, the Inquisition, the Spanish Black Legend, and the Hundred Years war. Christianity has plenty of blood on its hands too and sometimes they are fighting among themselves. Not saying that Islam is right, just that you need to have a little more perspective before you say stuff like that.

a handful of "terrorists" who are not muslim doesnt change the fact that terrorism is almost exclusively muslim in general, and almost completely muslim when we think of current threats intl speaking.

the point about islam is that muhammed, the founder himself, was a violent man, a murderer, etc. jesus was no such thing, no violence surrounds him. muhammeds insane rantings should be enough for us to conclude he was a madman who need not be trusted period, let alone base our lives on a religion he started and almost created singlehandedly.

violence you speak of with christianity is outside of the religion itself if you ask me...the crusades you use as an example are clearly a big part of the history, and they are often times misunderstood- the point was to preserve the religion and take back parts of the empire ravaged and stolen by islam as a religious movement.

no matter, jesus, the clear founder of the religious movement, along with his disciples, were in no way involved in battle, murder, violence at all...and that says a lot for the religion at its base. muhammed and his very disciples, if we can call them that for a moment, were quite the opposite- they were involved in battles, murders, elaborate lies, etc. and the very fact that muhammed himself was most probably a child rapist tends to make anything he ever said insane nonsense.
