Titus, Donated Money, and O'Grady
I was watching that Christopher Titus special on Showtime (it's not on the schedule for the next week as far as I could tell) and it switched over to another channel (I have a dual tuner DVR), because I changed one channel and it started a record on the second tuner. Anyhow, because of this, I missed it...and it's not on DVD, so I hope they air it again soon. Couldn't figure out the new layout (semi-new) of sho.com so I couldn't put a reminder in for it.
The US govt has donated $350 million now to tsunami aid. As EVERYONE mentioned, the $35 million was only the START of the aid...with more to come. I believe it was the Wash Times that attacked Bush (clueless, they are)...saying he was trying to beat the UN by setting up his own fund with other nations. Heaven forbid they collect money together! Gasp! Bush-haters never need any reason or sense behind their hatred. And their hatred never ends, as we see...It's also sad to see the world press use this disaster to attack the US and the money we donated, saying we were "stingy" (the UN official said this), tho Colin Powell and Bush himself both pointed out that the US gives more aid than all other nations combined. Sad they had to remind the idiots in the world of this fact that they all seem to neglect to mention while they're busy attacking.
Whatever nation it was that turned down Israel aid workers (Indonesia, maybe?) should get no money if you ask me...their blatant racism against jews (I assume this is exactly what it is) shouldn't be allowed to stand. Now, we'll be attacked for pledging TOO MUCH money and trying to outdo the rest of the world...it's a shame that the world's jealousy is like the left's hate- as I said, it never ends.
I finished the Dick Morris book on Clinton, Because He Could. Good read. Very infuriating- especially the chapter on the pardons of scumbags and the favors given to both Bill and Hillary. Honesty is like a disease to this couple. Sickening. People that admire either one of them scare the bejesus out of me.
Tonight they ran an O'Grady marathon...the new episode (episode #7) was the best of them all so far if you ask me. New episodes in a couple months, it seems. Good to see Soup 2 Nuts doing more work- Home Movies was great, and this show doesn't even compare really, but it's better than nothing, and this show really is very funny and the voice work is great.
I guess I'll be off now...
