Sidney Blumenthal (aka Clintonian Idiot)

Sidney Blumenthal is insane. Writing his tepid piece in the anti-American Guardian newspaper, he called Bush's inaugural speech all about imperalism (that's absurd and not even worthy of a response), and that Bush's plan is to go on neverending "vengeful global missions."

Blumenthal was, as you surely know, a Clinton advisor, so that fact alone should excuse his insanity overall. Still, for stupidity like this- there really is no excuse. The guy pens a hit piece on the president from the most anti-american of British rags, and insults the military while doing so...then, he lies and claims that the US has imperalistic goals, which couldn't be further from the truth, and that Bush's idea to spread freedom around the globe is nothing more than a series of "vengeful global missions." Spreading freedom isn't a worthy cause to Blumenthal (or ANYONE on the left, it seems)- it's not only not a worthy goal, it's compared to vengence! So, freedom is bad and the US is ALWAYS to blame for EVERYTHING. Two top tenets to abide by to be part of the democratic party in America. The party reminds me of a popular ABC network series...Lost.

Thank God the Brits are smart enough not to fall for Bush's lies!

too bad not even the dems in congress could find any point where bush lied or even mislead at all...he never coerced anyone dealing with intel, he never lied (the iraq intel is the only thing you can claim a lie about)- yet, as i said, the bipartisan commission found no lies, misleading, coercion, etc.

so, lets not call the man a liar when not even his biggest enemies (idiots like ted kennedy) can find a single lie or misdeed.
