Iraqi Elections Totally Legit
I keep hearing from the mainstream press that the Iraqi elections can't be fully representative or legitimate with such a low sunni turnout. That's nonsense. It seems the sunni turnout was low, but that means nothing. That doesn't make the elections illegitimate or not fully representative. It's like saying that the millions of green party members in the US who have really no say and no candidates that got elected are reason for the US elections being illegitimate. It's like saying the millions of, let's make it some absurd religious situation and say wiccans, who have no "voice" in government make the US elections bogus.
Just because a minority religious group had low turnout, that doesn't in any way mean that the elections aren't a success and that the new govt won't fully represent the entire nation.
Just another example of the liberals in the media trying to make the worst of a historic situation.

Sidney Blumenthal (aka Clintonian Idiot)
Sidney Blumenthal is insane. Writing his tepid piece in the anti-American Guardian newspaper, he called Bush's inaugural speech all about imperalism (that's absurd and not even worthy of a response), and that Bush's plan is to go on neverending "vengeful global missions."
Blumenthal was, as you surely know, a Clinton advisor, so that fact alone should excuse his insanity overall. Still, for stupidity like this- there really is no excuse. The guy pens a hit piece on the president from the most anti-american of British rags, and insults the military while doing so...then, he lies and claims that the US has imperalistic goals, which couldn't be further from the truth, and that Bush's idea to spread freedom around the globe is nothing more than a series of "vengeful global missions." Spreading freedom isn't a worthy cause to Blumenthal (or ANYONE on the left, it seems)- it's not only not a worthy goal, it's compared to vengence! So, freedom is bad and the US is ALWAYS to blame for EVERYTHING. Two top tenets to abide by to be part of the democratic party in America. The party reminds me of a popular ABC network series...Lost.

Fox News Gets Big Inauguration Ratings Boost
PRIMETIME RATINGS:
FNC -- 2,439,000 (up 57% OVER '01)
CNN -- 1,353,000 (down 14% over '01)
MSNBC -- 385,000 (down 47% over '01)
http://drudgereport.com/flash7.htm
---------------------------------
Let the liberal whining begin. They'll claim Fox is a net full of whacked out neocons, and will refuse to see the truth...that Fox IS fair and balanced as they say, and the nation, overall, is tired of the liberal monopoly on the news.

Black Books (BBCA)
I have to say, I was pleased to find that Black Books is starting to air on BBC America. I watched tonight's episode of MY FAMILY (another great show), and they showed a preview for this Dylan Moran comedy special. I said to myself- hey, that's the guy from Black Books that aired on comedy central a couple of years ago near Christmas. So, I went to the guide on the cable box to set up a record for the comedy special, and before it airs, Black Books series 1, episode 1 airs.
When I found out about the show originally, I opened an amazon.com UK account and added the entire 1st series of the show and the subsequent 2nd series to my wishlist.
I have all but 1 or 2 episodes (only 6 total, I think) from series 1 on tape, but I can get them all on tape now and in stereo. So nice...
For some reason, my speakers keep making a crackling sound every so often. Not sure if it's the 5.1 card or the speaker set itself...need to check the wires, I guess. Off to watch tonight's episode of LOST.

The Idiot Atheist, Boxer Again and Ed Koch
I mentioned the partisan hack, Barbara Boxer before and her nonsense with Condi Rice, but there's more...
I didn't realize that Boxer also attacked Rice on her saying that the tsunmai aid would be a good way to reach out to the muslim world...
From a larger story on the confirmation hearings:
- Said that the Dec. 26 Asian tsunami presented a "wonderful opportunity" for the United States to reach out to countries in the Muslim world and build good will, a remark that Boxer branded as insensitive to the widespread deaths and destruction.
I'd like to make a note to anyone who ever voted for Boxer- you're insane!! Stop voting altogether!!
-----------------
The Always Clueless Atheist
Atheist and idiot Michael Newdow is making an ass of himself again by trying to ban a prayer at the inauguration ceremony. The Supreme Court has shot him down. This is the man, you will remember, who lied and claimed his daughter didn't like to say under god during the pledge at school, tho the daughter and her mother came out and said that wasn't true, and that she's a devout christian...Newdow will use his child as a pawn for his twisted agenda, and he will do anything he can now to further that agenda. Sick, sick man this guy is.
-----------------
Ed KochIt amazes me that STILL to this day people are getting their facts wrong when it comes to Iraq. Former NYC Mayor, Ed Koch, is calling for the US to declare victory in Iraq and pull our troops out (a horrible idea, and thank the good lord that he's not a military advisor!), but in his article where he urges this, he claims the US said Saddam was an "imminent threat" to its neighbors and maybe the US itself. The president and others always said he was NOT an imminent threat, and that was WHY we had to act NOW before he BECAME one. This bogus claim is touted by the left all the time, and it's old. If you can't get all your facts straight 2 years after the fact, then shut up altogether, because you embarass yourself when you claim things that were never said.
I don't think this is a huge issue, but it does get tiring.

Sen Boxer a Disgrace, Kerry Plays Race Card, and Leftist Stupidity
Again, radical lefty whacko, Barbara Boxer has made a fool of herself and shamed the entire Congress with her stupidity and unending partisan bickering. I am tired of this woman...almost as tired of her as I am the wretched liar, Nancy Pelosi (also from the left...seeing a pattern here?)
She made a joke of the confirmation hearings of Condi Rice today...tried to use this as a chance to grandstand with her agenda that can only be characterized as ignorant and laughable.
http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/c/a/2005/01/18/RICEBOXER.DTL&type=printable
It's a real shame that we even have women like Boxer serving in the federal government. We can officially add her to the looney bin with Ted Kennedy and the others. The left is so bitter, it's amazing they get anything done. On top of this nonsense, you have all the dems disrespecting Bush by refusing to show up Thursday, no respect for the office itself...and the neverending parade of idiots with their anti-inauguration nonsense. Even a DC councilman is doing his best to protest and take away from Bush on his day.
You also have John Kerry, who, like almost every democrat alive, used the race card Monday, claiming (without one piece of evidence) that blacks had their votes supressed, and that democrats had to wait longer in lines (10 hours for dems, 10 mins for republicans)...a laughable claim, since there's no way he can tell who is "republican" and who is "democrat", and these claims have been refuted already...just as the bogus claims in Florida in 2000 were refuted and the top newspapers went down there and found that it was a fair election and that Bush would have won no matter what count/recount you looked at.
Not shocking that Kerry is attempting to make Bush look illegitimate, as are many other dems. It's sad when the top democrat takes the same stand as bigoted-anti-semitic idiots like Jesse Jackson, who also (without proof) claimed voter suppression. You'd think that from what they're saying that dems are complete tools who can't even get "their" voters into vote without problems. All elections have problems, this one had record turnout (60%), and there weren't a lot of problems. The vote was fair, it was accurate, and there was no suppression. The left doesn't need facts to back up their claims...they never used actual facts before, why start now?

Red Red Wine
Well, I need something to make me forget (tho I don't want to totally forget), but I won't be using red red wine for this purpose. Try to keep my mind busy, and off of things that remind me (tho, lately EVERYTHING I see reminds me of her.)
I have prayed to God a lot lately. For clarity for my head...for relief of my heartache, for relief of my baby's (she's still my baby in my heart- my feelings haven't changed a bit) stress, her heartache, her confusion, etc. I prayed that God would make it clear for both of us and help us back together as soon as possible. I sure hope he was listening and answers these prayers. I just want him to help us both be happy with our lives...happy together if he sees fit. Until the time comes for us to come back to this, I will wait, and I won't forget. I'll keep the door to my heart open, as well as to my head. Everyone tells me I should move on, and I will in a way...but I'll give her the time she needs and wait for her to come back to me. Wishing for that and praying that comes true- it's all I can do right now.
I didn't start listening to this song, because of the lyrics, but I copied them down anyhow...

Red Red Wine by UB40
Red, red wine
Go to my head
Make me forget that i
Still need her so
Red, red wine
It`s up to you
All I can do, i`ve done
But mem`ries won`t go
mem`ries won`t go
I`d have sworn
That with time
Thoughts of you
Would leave my head
I was wrong
Now I find
Just one thing makes me forget
Red, red wine
Stay close to me
Don`t let me be alone
It`s tearin` apart
My blue, blue heart
I`d have sworn
That with time
Thoughts of you
Would leave my head
I was wrong
Now I find
Just one thing makes me forget
Red, red wine
Stay close to me
Don`t let me be alone
It`s tearin` apart
My blue, blue heart
---rap section---
Red red wine you make me feel so fine

Give me little time, help me clear up me mind
Give me little time, help me clear up me mind

Facts Matter Nothing to Robbins and Sarandon
From the Media Research Center:
If Bush Won't Quit, Impeach Him!
Guest host Susan Sarandon: "How can they get out of this
[situation in Iraq]?"
Author Gore Vidal: "He [President Bush] can resign."
Actor Tim Robbins: "How about a good, old-fashioned
impeachment?
Seems to me there was a guy that was impeached not long ago for
oral sex, for lying about oral sex, and it seems to me there's
been a couple lies told. So it's more of a high crime and
misdemeanor to lie about oral sex than it is to lie about
intelligence that forces a country into war?"
Vidal, mockingly: "Tim, you must have values!"
-- Exchange on CBS's Late Late Show, December 17.
----------------------
I wonder if someone should tell these 3 idiots that no piece of evidence has come out to suggest Bush lied about ANY intel whatsoever. The Niger/uranium link that the left loves to say was false is actually true- British MI6 stands by the intel to this day...also, the 9/11 commission said that there were no lies told about the iraqi intel (which was intel shared by British intel, UN intel, UNSCOM intel, Russian intel, etc.), nor is there any evidence that anyone was pressured to falsify any intel or documents related to anything about Iraq. Do facts even matter to clueless "celebs" like Robbins and Sarandon? I doubt it. Gore Vidal, Mr. insane himself, is even worse, and there's no use even trying to figure what this maniac is thinking...

Kerry Bashes War Effort/Bush With Troops
This is why the US military votes for republicans in droves. Democrats like John 'sore loser' Kerry go to Baghdad to visit the troops (as if the troops want to visit with John Kerry!), and he takes this chance to bash the president and the war effort. Only a democrat would be clueless enough to go talk to troops while doing so- bash the effort they're making, as well as bashing their commander in chief.
Thank you Mr. Kerry for proving what we all knew to begin with. Democrats can always be counted on to kill the morale of our fighting men and women, and lefties will stoop to any level to bash others.
----------
from a larger newsmax.com story:
"Visiting with U.S. troops in Baghdad on Thursday, failed presidential candidate John Kerry trashed Commander-in-chief George Bush for making "horrendous judgments" and "unbelievable blunders" that have undermined the war effort."

Group in Congress Uses Dirty Tactics to Paint Bush as Illegitimate
The democrats wonder why they lost. The American people do not share their twisted values. The objection by Barbara Boxer (what a whiny ass moron she is) yesterday was a disgrace...a move to try to make George W Bush look like an illegitimate president, someone who didn't really win. Drudge posted pics at the top of his site showing her crying when they made it official for the state of Ohio.
There's NO evidence that there was systematic fraud or vote rigging, no evidence that minorities were held back from voting or that they had far fewer machines- the left LOVES to use the race card, and unfortunately black Americans are easily herded to the democratic party like sheep, refusing to see the blatant racism the left uses all the time to move their perverse agenda forward.
This is why the left lost...using the race card all the time- Americans are sick of it (black Americans as a whole need to wake up and realize this and turn away from the party), their disgusting tactics used to make republicans seem not so legit, their attempt to object to the electoral college vote- without any evidence of any wrongdoing to back up their absurd claims. Anyone who doesn't see that the left in this country is losing its very grip on reality is losing their own grip on reality. The party is dead to most Americans, and I think it's about time we make it official. The democrats values are not the values of the average American, it's really too bad the democrats are still clueless to this fact, and they still ask themselves how they lost.
I recommend everyone send a letter to Mrs. Boxer and all others who objected to the electoral vote count. Let them know that their partisan attempts to make the president look illegitimate won't stand with the American people, and that we're tired of these lowdown tactics. I, personally, will be writing a form letter and e-mailing it to all members of congress who objected. If you're tired of these tactics, I urge you to do the same.

Dems Attack Gonzales, Refuse to Protect American People
Proving that they care nothing about protecting the American people, many democrats attacked Atty General nominee, Alberto Gonzales. Speaking of directives he has written- that point out the FACT that terrorists held at GITMO are NOT protected by the geneva conventions, democrats use this chance to attack Gonzales and claim that the CIA and current admin. had tortured priosoners- tho, from the facts, it doesn't even seem to be the case to begin with. Teddy Kennedy, one of the most disgusting members of Congress, attacked Gonzales and tried to use the prisoner torture incident at Abu Ghraib- tho, Gonzales has already said that in his legal opinion, the Iraqi prisoners (who wore a military uniform and fought for a specific NATION) are protected by the conventions of war. This tactic of using Abu Ghraib was reported early on by Drudge, and Rush and Hannity both mentioned the fact that the dems would use this insane logic as well. They were all right, because that's just what the democrats are doing.
We capture terrorists and we get info. from them to PROTECT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE from developing terrorist plots, and what do the dems do? They attack, attack, and attack. Why? Because they're weak on defense and protecting this country, they always have been, and they know it. There tactics are deplorable...to attack a man like Gonzales as condoning torture and a supposed violation of rights of, remember who these men are- TERRORISTS!!!
I'm not at all surprised by the tactics the left is using with this nomination, and of course it's just as stupid as I knew it would be. Forget protecting the American people- the left in this country is too worried about the poor terrorists plotting to kill innocent men, women, and children and so-called rights that the dems think these monsters are guaranteed. Forget the fact that the Geneva Convention makes it clear that terrorists are not protected, leave it to the left to demand fairness and compassion to these madmen who wouldn't think twice about murdering every single American they possibly could. Leave it to idiots (and murderers) like Ted Kennedy to play politics with our safety.

I Don't Endorse One Side, Honest!
Hilarious claims by idiots. The fool that runs this site that shows the inaugural parade map makes this absurd claim on the "about" section of the site:
It's merely meant as a guide for visitors...not to take sides. It's not meant to help idiot peace hippy protestors. Funny tho when you look on his main page and the following sites are linked:
Seriously tho...the founder of the website REALLY doesn't take sides, and his site is meant soley for information for DC visitors. Why can't the guy be honest? No idea, but it's hilarious that he wants to make such ridiculous claims.

2004: Highlights And Lowlifes by Ann Coulter
Check out Ann Coulter's newest column...(www.anncoulter.com)
2004: Highlights And Lowlifes
Ann Coulter
December 29, 2004
The single biggest event of 2004 was the Election Day exit poll, which, like John Steinbeck's "The Short Reign of Pippin IV," made John Kerry the president for a few moments. But in a move that stunned the experts, American voters chose "moral values" over an America-bashing trophy husband and his blow-dried, ambulance-chasing sidekick.
The second biggest event in 2004 came on Sunday, Dec. 26, when The New York Times referred to an organization as a "liberal research group." (I think it may have been the Communist Party USA, Trotskyite wing, but, still, it's progress.)
CBS eminence Dan Rather was driven off the air in disgrace after he tried to take down a sitting president by brandishing Microsoft Word documents he claimed were authentic Texas Air National Guard memos from the '70s. By liberals' own account, the pompous blowhard was exposed by people sitting around their living rooms in pajamas.
John Kerry's meal ticket, Teresa Heinz, continuously made remarks that were wildly inappropriate, such as when she strangely referred to the "seven-year itch" in relation to herself and John Kerry, creating at least three images I didn't want in my head. On the other hand, for any voters who considered the most important campaign issue to be whether the first lady was an earthy, condescending foreigner who had traveled extensively and spoke several languages, Teresa was a huge asset.
Surprisingly, Teresa never became a major campaign issue. It turned out that supporters of a phony war hero who preyed on rich widows were also OK with the notion of a first lady who might use the F-word during Rose Garden press conferences. By the same token, anyone who was put off by the not-so-affable Eva Peron of American politics already didn't like John Kerry -- thanks largely to John O'Neill and the Swiftboat Veterans.
Like the archers of Agincourt, John O'Neill and the 254 Swiftboat Veterans took down their own haughty Frenchman.
Meanwhile, San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom is nipping at O'Neill's heels as the man second-most responsible for Bush's re-election. Thanks largely to Newsom's hard work, gay marriage was big news all year.
In retrospect, the Democrats would have been better off if they had found every gay guy in America who actually wanted to get married and offered each one a million dollars in exchange for the Democrats not having to talk about gay marriage. (Finally -- a problem that could have been solved by throwing money at it!)
(rest of article under cut)
On the basis solely of media coverage, Abu Ghraib was the biggest story of 2004, maybe the biggest story ever. And for good reason: An American soldier was caught on film not only humiliating Iraqi prisoners -- but smoking!
The New York Times even had to drop its coverage of Augusta National Golf Course to give Abu Ghraib due prominence. Only the Rumsfeld autopen scandal was big enough to knock Abu Ghraib off the front page.
I personally haven't been so singularly disturbed by an atrocity since I had to sit through all of "The Matrix: Reloaded."
By contrast, the least important story -- again, judging by media coverage -- was the peculiar development of a Clintonite caught trying to get into his own pants. Sandy Berger was spotted by National Archives staff repeatedly stuffing top-secret documents into his undergarments in preparation for defending the Clinton administration's record on fighting terrorism before the 9/11 Commission. If you happened to take a long nap the day the Berger story broke, you would have missed it entirely.
On the bright side, The New York Times has adopted an all-new standard for covering the extramarital affairs of public figures. With no fanfare, the Times quickly abandoned its earlier position that a U.S. president molesting White House staff -- including while on the phone discussing sending troops into battle -- is not news. The new rule rolled out for Bernie Kerik makes extramarital affairs major front-page news deserving of nonstop coverage, even after the public figure has withdrawn his name from consideration for any government office.
American hero Pat Tillman won a Silver Star this year. But unlike Kerry, he did not write his own recommendation or live to throw his medals over the White House fence in an anti-war rally.
Tillman was an American original: virtuous, pure and masculine like only an American male can be. The stunningly handsome athlete walked away from a three-year, $3.6 million NFL contract with the Arizona Cardinals to join the U.S. military and fight in Afghanistan, where he was killed in April.
He wanted no publicity and granted no interviews about his decision to leave pro football in the prime of his career and join the Army Rangers. (Most perplexing to Democrats, he didn't even take a home movie camera to a war zone in order to create fake footage for future political campaigns in which he would constantly palaver about his military service and drag around his "Band of Brothers" for the media.)
Tillman gave only an indirect explanation for his decision on the day after 9/11, when he said: "My great grandfather was at Pearl Harbor, and a lot of my family has gone and fought in wars, and I really haven't done a damn thing as far as laying myself on the line like that." He said he wanted to "pay something back" to America.
He died bringing freedom and democracy to 28 million Afghans -- pretty much confirming Michael Moore's view of America as an imperialist cowboy predator. There is not another country in the world -- certainly not in continental Europe -- that could have produced a Pat Tillman.
On the anniversary of D-Day, as Americans like Pat Tillman risked their lives to liberate 50 million Iraqis and Afghans, in a year when Americans poured into theaters to see a movie about Christ and reaffirmed their support for moral values at the polling booth, America's greatest president died. Ronald Reagan appealed to what is best about America and so transformed the nation that we are now safe to carry on without him.

Titus, Donated Money, and O'Grady
I was watching that Christopher Titus special on Showtime (it's not on the schedule for the next week as far as I could tell) and it switched over to another channel (I have a dual tuner DVR), because I changed one channel and it started a record on the second tuner. Anyhow, because of this, I missed it...and it's not on DVD, so I hope they air it again soon. Couldn't figure out the new layout (semi-new) of sho.com so I couldn't put a reminder in for it.
The US govt has donated $350 million now to tsunami aid. As EVERYONE mentioned, the $35 million was only the START of the aid...with more to come. I believe it was the Wash Times that attacked Bush (clueless, they are)...saying he was trying to beat the UN by setting up his own fund with other nations. Heaven forbid they collect money together! Gasp! Bush-haters never need any reason or sense behind their hatred. And their hatred never ends, as we see...It's also sad to see the world press use this disaster to attack the US and the money we donated, saying we were "stingy" (the UN official said this), tho Colin Powell and Bush himself both pointed out that the US gives more aid than all other nations combined. Sad they had to remind the idiots in the world of this fact that they all seem to neglect to mention while they're busy attacking.
Whatever nation it was that turned down Israel aid workers (Indonesia, maybe?) should get no money if you ask me...their blatant racism against jews (I assume this is exactly what it is) shouldn't be allowed to stand. Now, we'll be attacked for pledging TOO MUCH money and trying to outdo the rest of the world...it's a shame that the world's jealousy is like the left's hate- as I said, it never ends.
I finished the Dick Morris book on Clinton, Because He Could. Good read. Very infuriating- especially the chapter on the pardons of scumbags and the favors given to both Bill and Hillary. Honesty is like a disease to this couple. Sickening. People that admire either one of them scare the bejesus out of me.
Tonight they ran an O'Grady marathon...the new episode (episode #7) was the best of them all so far if you ask me. New episodes in a couple months, it seems. Good to see Soup 2 Nuts doing more work- Home Movies was great, and this show doesn't even compare really, but it's better than nothing, and this show really is very funny and the voice work is great.
I guess I'll be off now...
