Updating

I just noticed there are no entries on the front page, since I haven't posted in a few days. I've been gone more than usual the past few days, hanging out with someone I met. I should say, spending time with a girl I met- since the first sentence might have lead you to think any number of weird things.

Not too much going on...had a few days at work there where I barely had any sleep at all, because of the whole spending time with this girl thing...

Nothing too big political-wise going on, so I haven't posted anything related. Makes sense...

I was thinking I might go to the IMAX theatre this morning, because I went to sleep at 11 something last night and slept till 6- not a LONG sleep, but enough where I'm awake now, and I'm not wanting to go back to sleep. I'm hungry, so maybe I should go somewhere and get food. Who knows...I'll probably end up doing neither.

Well, either way, I guess that's about it for now.

Wis Radio Host Gives Half Apology, Still Clueless

Moronic radio host "apologizes" for calling Condi Rice "aunt jemima," tho he really doesn't. He calls Rice a liar, yet offers up no proof as far as I can see. Only an ideologue would call her a liar and inept. And to say she's been used by the admin as a black trophy is offensive and ignorant of the truth. Probably closer to less ignorance and more blatant dishonesty...since Rice has never been used by the white house or any part of the administration as a "black trophy"- whatever the hell that even means to begin with...What about Powell, Paige, and so many others in the Bush White House? Are they all aunt jemimas as well? Black or latino "trophies?"

He actually did call Powell an uncle tom, which makes no sense...because Powell has often times disagreed with the white house and said so publicly. How is that the behavior of an "uncle tom?" It's the very opposite...so this clearly shows the guy is completely clueless and just wants to be a racist.

Proving he's utterly insane, he also said this about the situation:

"It is with a heavy heart that I apologize this morning to Aunt
Jemima. She wasn't a self-serving hack politician who got up in
front of Congress and lied. Aunt Jemima didn't kowtow to Don
Rumsfeld or Dick Cheney," Sylvester said.

I'm not really sure how he thinks she lied to congress, since no evidence exists to suggest this...but, it seems to me that he's almost surely a Saddam Hussein apologist and leftist loony and nothing more...

Further proving his stupidity, he says this in his "apology" (to blacks, NOT Rice):

She ignored Richard Clark’s memos and refused to ask tough
questions during the lead up to the war in Iraq. She is simply
the most discredited National Security Advisor in recent
history.

Clarke has been discredited by every major news source out there. He claimed Rice never even knew what al qaeda was until he came to her and told her about them...how did he know she didn't know about the terrorist group that everyone in the country knows about? He said he could tell by the look she had on her face! This is the guy who wrote a book claiming that he wrote numerous memos warning of impending danger, yet it turns out that wasn't the case at all, and he said these things simply to sell his book- which he whored on TV for over a month. Using discredited Clarke as a source, Sly shows us that he's willing to lie himself to further his own sick agenda. If you go to the website for the station he's on- it says "progressive" talk...I'm wondering how lying, racist attacks, and using wholly discredited source is at all considered "progressive." Then again, I don't know how abortion on demand, the removal of all religion from public life, and the gay agenda is considered "progressive" either.

As for the story mentioning another radio host being fired for calling undocumented Mexican immigrants (aka, illegals) "wetbacks"- that is, in fact, usually a negative term, but it is a proper definition for many illegals who do come into the country illegally. Many in the media try to spare the feelings of criminals (illegal aliens), yet it's okay to attack a black woman in power as a fool who worhsips her master (Bush) and a liar, tho anyone who looks at her can see that's nowhere near the case.

Idiot Denies Throwing Cup, Proved Liar In Same Interview

John Green, the idiot fan who threw the cup that started nutjob Artest on his rampage spoke to Good Morning America's Charlie Gibson just now. When Gibson first asked him if he threw the cup, his lawyer broke in (an annoying little guy) and said- I suggest everyone just look at the tape, and you'll see what happened, implying with that and other statements that Green did nothing wrong and didn't throw the cup. During this, they were running the tape that showed Green clearly throwing the cup down on Artest (they played this clip over and over and over and even highlited Green in the video and showed it in slow-mo.) Green went on to say that the cup was thrown from someone near him and that he was shocked to see it happen, and shocked to see that it hit Artest (again, they play the video that showed Green is a liar, since HE himself threw the cup.)

Both Green and his lawyer lost all respect, and the world now knows both men are liars. You think a guy who went thru law school would know better than to say "look at the tape" implying his client was innocent, and not realize that ABC would do JUST that and show the tape that proved his client was, in fact, guilty. Green, as clueless as well, actually says the cup was thrown from someone near him (not him we assume from his comment), yet doesn't realize while he's saying this the evidence indicting him is being played on an endless loop.

Stupidity is so fascinating sometimes.

Pacers Nonsense- Laying the Blame

I've noticed a rather frightening mood among Pacers' fans online...blaming the Pistons for what happened the other night. Artest commits a foul, Wallce pushes him, which clears the benches, Detroit fans throw cups at players, Artest is hit with a cup and goes into the stands like a madman and starts punching people...I think he actually punches the wrong guy who never threw a thing at him...other players go into the stands and start throwing punches, more fans start throwing things onto the court and at players going into the tunnel.

That's what went down...yet, the blame lies solely with the Pistons and Piston fans? Nonsense. First, if someone pushes a teammate, you do NOT clear the bench and go out and fight...that's what the Pacers did. That was wrong. If someone hits you with a plastic cup from the stands, you DO NOT run into the crowd and start punching fans. That's what the Pacers did. Fans shouldn't throw things, it's wrong, it's stupid, and it's dangerous- this is what some of the Piston fans did.

This was a case of men acting like stupid kids. Heck, that's actually an insult to children, because children don't get paid millions of dollars to do this, and they don't usually wildly punch at people.

Many people were wrong with this, and blaming the opposing team and the team's fans for losing the season, or losing players to suspensions is just as childish as what these oversized babies did to begin with. We're talking about men who make millions to PLAY A GAME. Let's not lose any sleep over them or the situation. And, please, let's not blame others for the WRONG actions of adult men who know better.

It Is the Economy Stupid, But It's a Bit More Complex

Of course, we know the economy runs in cycles...2001 was a year we were due for a slight recession..which is what we got. The so-called surpluses were not actually there to begin with. They were merely projected surpluses ONLY if the stock market kept up its record pace. The stock market did not, however, stay strong...it collapsed to some degree, and that had nothing to do with any president or any policy. The terrorist attacks also hit the market hard.

So, no matter what any president did, these factors came into play, and the PROJECTED surpluses would have never actually been surpluses in real dollars.

Outside of this- a surplus itself means just that- the government has taken in more tax revenue than they needed. Many (especially among the left) wanted the surplus saved for spending purposes, an idea that makes little sense, considering it's our money and frankly needs to be returned to the taxpayer. If you overpay for an item, you would, of course, want the money you paid over given back to you. The same thing should ring true with taxes. I think most people, left and right, feel that they should get their hard earned money back. Then again, as I said, there never was any surplus, only a projected surplus given a number of factors that had to stay the same, but didn't and had very little chance of doing so.

Why, then, does President Bush get blamed for the economy at all? We all know that president have very little power to control the economy...Congress, of course controls that much more, since they're the ones who actually spend tax money. The overall economy, tho, is basically regulated by the consumer and business. Everything runs in cycles, and the economy will continue to run like this. People have different overall moods toward the economy- the economy wasn't truly booming in the 90's (at least not the way most people think), because much of the money pumped into the economy was never actually real money. You had numerous companies paying out obscene amounts of money to everyone and their brother to start an internet startup- which eventually meant that the government had more tax reveune, but that tax money was soon spent (the actual money, not the projected money)...these facts along with the record low prices of crude oil (remember in some areas when a gallon of gas was 80 cents?) meant that things looked better than they were as well. But, crude oil prices in the 90's were well below what they should have been. Oil was insanely underpriced for many years, and that lends to the belief that things are better, cheaper, easier than they really are and really should be. When oil prices rose back to a normal level, and it was no longer wildly underpriced, things looked like they suddenly got a bit worse on the surface.

Many factors work to affect the actual economy and the average Americans SENSE of the economy and what the state of the economy is. But, we need to realize that the much talked about surpluses never really existed in real money, and only a miracle would have allowed the projected surpluses to turn into real money that could have been spent on any number of things. Also, with these facts, you realize that Bush is not to blame for the economy today, which is actually very good (better than the avg of the 70s, 80s, AND 90s), and that the late 90's were a completely abnormal phenomenon.

NFL Coach Calls ABC Ad Racist / Revisiting the Shepard Case with the FACTS

Oh dear god, this stupid desperate housewives ad just wont go away. Now, the coach of the Indianapolis Colts is saying that the ad was racist, because it perpetuates the stereotype that black men love white women. Oh my God! How awful!

One thing we should know of stereotypes is that, in general, there's almost always a little truth to them. Not always the case, but most of the time it is. Which means- maybe black men DO love white women in large numbers. I don't see a problem with that, but I don't think that's racism or anything near it...nor do I think that this ad was saying this.

I think the ad was perpetuating the idea that a man would get down with a naked woman who is throwing herself at the guy. That's clear to everyone on the planet, and that's not racist, and it's not bigoted...it's merely fact for most men.

Dungy clearly needs to lighten up, and maybe figure out why he has an obvious problem with racism in his own mind.

In other news...20/20 will be doing a story in 2 weeks on the Matthew Shepard murder. One of the guys who beat him and left him for dead attacked another guy later that night...and it turns out the beating wasn't just random, that many witnesses have come forward to say that these guys had been with Shepard numerous times before this day. The attacker's girlfriend has now come forward and showed her face to say that they made up the whole story of Shepard hitting on her boyfriend, and that's why they attacked him...it was a ploy they were going to use as an excuse to why they attacked him. At the time of the murder, she was interviewed but didn't show her face, and went along with this story, but now she's showing her face and says it was all about drugs. Her boyfriend and his friend were coming off of a 5 day meth binge, and they were suffering from what doctors call "meth rage," and they beat Matthew because of something to do with him not having drugs they wanted, and he was out of his mind with rage.

This will upset gay groups, who wanted so badly to use the word homophobia (an infliction that no medical or psychiatric group acknowledges as even existing...plus, the word itself means "irrational fear" of homosexuals), and they wanted to call this a hate crime (as opposed to the millions of "love crimes" that are committed every year in America.) The homosexual lobby has used this murder as a cause to claim that gays are attacked everyday and Shepard became a hero for their cause, tho it turns out his death had nothing to do with his homosexual lifestyle choice, nor anything even remotely related to homosexuality at all.

I'm glad to see 20/20 exposing these facts, and not backing away from it to appease the homosexual lobby, who I guarantee you will come out after this story airs and scream "homophobia," "bigotry,"
"intolerance", and "discrimination."

The entire idea of hate crimes is ridiculously unfair to all victims, and it's nothing but a tool for the gay lobby to try and hijack the issue and further their own agenda with it. It clearly worked to a point with the Shepard case, but it turns out all the vigils, all the protests, all the memorials, were based ultimately on a lie. It was never about him being gay, but rather all about a meth addict wanting more drugs.

Clinton Still Obsessed with Imaginary Persecution

Proving that there's no end to the victim that is Bill Clinton...

-----------------------
Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004 10:30 p.m. EST
Bill 'Captain Queeg' Clinton Threatens Peter Jennings

A paranoid-sounding Bill Clinton threatened ABC News anchorman Peter Jennings in an interview broadcast Thursday night, in a bizarre rant about his impeachment that laid bare the ex-president's persecution complex.

"You don't want to go here, Peter," Clinton warned after Jennings told him that historians ranked him second to last of all presidents in terms of moral authority.

Squinting his eyes, an angry Clinton seethed: "You don't want to go here. Not after what you people did. And the way you - your network - what you did with Kenneth Starr. The way your people repeated every little sleazy thing he did. No one has any idea of what that's like."
The amazing exchange came after Clinton at first claimed he didn't care about the verdict of historians.

"I had more support from the world when I quit than when I started," he claimed. "And I will go to my grave being at peace about it. And I don't really care about what [the historians] think."

Immediately, Jennings challenged Clinton, all but calling him a liar.

"Oh, yes you do. ... Excuse me, Mr. President. I can feel it across the room. You care very deeply."

Jennings' challenge sent Clinton into a thinly veiled rage, prompting him to threaten, "You don't want to go here, Peter."

The full exchange went like this:

JENNINGS (Discussing rankings by presidential historians]: They gave you a forty-first in terms of moral authority - after Nixon.

CLINTON: They're wrong about that. You know why they're wrong about it? They're wrong about it.

JENNINGS: Why, sir?

CLINTON: Because we had $100 million spent against us in all these inspections. ... In spite of it all, you don't have any example where I ever lied to the American people about my job, where I have let the American people down. And I had more support from the world when I quit than when I started. And I will go to my grave being at peace about it. And I don't really care about what they think.

JENNINGS: Oh, yes you do.

CLINTON: They have no idea ...

JENNINGS: Excuse me, Mr. President. I can feel it across the room. You care very deeply.

CLINTON: No, no. I care. I care. You don't want to go here, Peter. You don't want to go here. Not after what your people did. And the way you - your network - what you did with Kenneth Starr. The way your people repeated every little sleazy thing he did. No one has any idea of what that's like.
-----------------------

It seems to me that Clinton, if he were a true man, would end it. He would just say- look, I lied...historians judge me as the second to last when it comes to morality, because it's true. I lied to my wife, my daughter. my friends and the white house staff...democrats and republicans in congress, in my cabinet, governors, state legislature members, the nation, attorneys, judges, and juries. I spent tons of money hiring thugs to investigate Starr myself and everyone else that looked at me the wrong way. I tried to ruin Linda Tripp's life just because she wanted the law to rule the day. I lied to my wife, and my wife claimed some vast right-wing conspiracy out to get me, when it turns out- I was guilty all along. I AM guilty, which is why I am banned from practicing in front of the US Supreme Court, and why I had my law license suspended in general. I wasn't a good president, because good presidents and good men don't constantly lie...and for that, I am sorry. I'm a weak man who refused to have any self control, and that's that.

A real man who is as bad as this guy might come clean with all of that. Clinton, tho, still stands by his obsession that his actions didn't cause impeachment, but instead it was those out to persecute him. He's like a kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar who keeps screaming it wasn't him, and that it was merely the other kids out to get him. No matter how much evidence there is that fingers him, he'll keep denying it. It's actually very sad, and especially coming from the man who was CEO of this nation for 8 years. Completely shameful.

Teacher Warns Class Meteor Will Hit Earth and Kill Them All

Proving that some people should NEVER teach children...or get ANYWHERE near them...

A teacher at a catholic high school in the UK told students at an assembly she had bad news...a meteor was coming toward earth and in 10 days it would kill them all, and they should all go home and make their farewells. Many started crying and screaming...she said it was just trying to tell them to seize the day. Clearly a given- the students at this school are taught by at least one moron.

No one in their right mind does this to try to make the kids realize they should seize the day! It's like telling a kid his parents were murdered and that he should have realized he needed to make the most of us all his time with them, then laughing and saying- nah, I was only kidding...I was just trying to teach you a life lesson!

Idiots...

Destroying Journalistic Integrity

I've included two pictures below...to give a small example of what passes as news with this woman and this station. Clearly meant to bring in viewers interested in T&A, this proves there was no journalistic merit to the story, and it wasn't about art whatsoever...
shameless 'journalism'

Again, I have to mention this clueless boob (reporter- so she claims), Sharon Reed. Trash TV clearly sells, as viewers came in to see the newscast in record numbers when she stripped off her clothes for a story. As I mentioned earlier, reporters aren't supposed to become the story, so there's strike 1. News can't be taken seriously when it uses stunts like this to pull in viewers during sweeps (I just now read that this story was filmed in June...the only reason they aired it in now, 5 months later, is for ratings for sweeps)- a tactless ploy like this on the news is strike 2 for Reed and her station. Reed tried to claim this was a piece about art, but if that were the case, they would have ran it in June not November...and they wouldn't hype it during every single newscast, and do story after story after story on it. It's about her taking her panties off, plain and simple...and she no longer has one ounce of respect or credibility as a journalist (Reed was involved in a scandal in Philadelphia, and questioned by police about nasty remarks posted on the net about another anchor she worked with- she was fired after this incident from what I've found out)...strike 3.

shameless 'journalism'

This stunt also means other women in the news will be forced to do similar things, because bosses will be demanding ratings get a boost. Don't fool yourself into thinking some naive young female anchor won't feel forced into doing the same sort of thing thanks to the tactless Reed, because she will, and others will feel the same pressure across the country.

This wasn't about news...it wasn't about art, it was about Reed's constantly controversial behavior. She was fired once and had to go from Philly to Cleveland...let's hope she gets canned again and this time she's forced to do the news on some tiny UHF station in some miniscule town in the middle of nowhere.

Reaction on the story:

Various Rants 2

The ACLU, the nazi organization that has taken America hostage, as you can see lies a lot...in their section on religious freedom, they claim the "establishment clause" (which, as we all know merely says CONGRESS shall make no law regarding the establishment of religion- and historical documents prove that this did NOT mean congress shall never get involved in religious affairs, but that Jefferson and others wanted to assure various christian denominations that no denomination would become an officially recognized religon of the state) demands that we seperate church and state. Of course, it says no such thing, and no one in their right mind could possibly interpret it that way.

Take, for example, the ACLU's fight against the boy scouts (remember, the ACLU pays for legal fees for members of NAMBLA, the north american, man/boy love association, a pedophile group that openly calls for members to engage youths in sexual relations- an illegal act, not to mention a damaging act to any youths involved, and immoral beyond belief. ACLU pays for these peoples legal fees yet attacks the boy scouts and christmas scenes on city squares!)...in the boy scout/dept of defense case, they have no legal standing, tho in the eyes of the twisted supreme court, they do.

The dept of defense is NOT congress...and they make NO laws. The 1st amendment merely says CONGRESS shall MAKE NO LAW regarding an establishment of religion. Congress has never made a law in regards to religion like this, and forget that because, again, the defense dept is NOT congress- and congress is the ONLY body bound by the clause in the 1st amendment.

On top of this, attacks on the boy scouts don't hold water either. The boy scouts are clearly NOT congress, and they make absolutely no laws whatsoever, nor do they come anywhere close to doing so.

This is out of control, and I pray for a sort of revolution that destroys the very core of the ACLU. They are destroying this nation with their attacks...and they have the money and the power to do nearly anything they want. This is outrageous and it needs to end TODAY. You will also notice on the ACLU site, they have articles written demanding gay marriage and COMPLETE 100% equal rights for gays...they tell their readers that they should SUE, SUE, SUE, in every single state and every single city...if they sue thousands of times, eventually they will get a handful of wins, and that will further their twisted cause to destroy marriage. Boy scouts, the ten commandements, and traditional marriage are evil...NAMBLA, nazis (they often demand nazis be given the right to march thru city streets and wreak havoc), and gay marriage is great. If you don't see the problem here, you're blind. If you're a card carrying member of the ACLU, you have SEVERE problems, and I urge you to seek help.

---------------------------

Ya know, it's really rather absurd when you think about the fact that most of us spend our lives doing things we can't stand, just to get little green pieces of paper that we can take out into the world and give to people (here, have these green pieces of paper, and in return I'll take this milk, bread, and eggs), and the people that you give those pieces of paper to go out and give it to others to buy other, different stuff...

If an alien came down to earth and I told him that's how we all live, he'd think we were nuts.

Of course, this thinking isn't at all novel, but so many of us go thru life without even thinking about it. Some things just make you think- the world is just plain nuts in some ways. Millions of people spending their entire lives trading what are nothing but pieces of paper with pictures on them. and doing all they can to get even more pieces of paper. And, yes, I realize that currency is backed by gold and other metals and worldwide respect for the currency's value in general, but still...gold is only valuable to us because it's worth a lot of money. If gold was worthless, and cost pennies, it wouldn't be any big deal...so, the currency would be backed by a meaningless unwanted metal. But, gold is worth a lot of money, so money has value because gold is worth the money it backs. An endless circle, I'll just shut up now...

---------------------------

Rep. Cummings (D- Maryland) berates the acting commissioner of the FDA, yelling every so often to make an ass of himself, I guess.

Then, when he asks the commissioner why drug companies in the US don't make the flu vaccine anymore, he answers that he doesn't know. He knows litigation, as Cummings mentioned plays a part...and he's sure the fact that they don't make any money off of the vaccines is a reason. Cummings acts upset and raises his voice, claiming the commissioner is refusing to answer his question...Cummings time limit is up, and he interrupts the chairman of the committee to say loudly that he wanted to make it know that the FDA commissioner said "no"...that he wasn't positive why most companies don't make the vaccine.

The chairman, rightfully, tells Cummings to shut up (not in those words, of course) and that yelling at people being questioned, who came WILLINGLY, serves no purpose. Cummings tried to interrupt him again, but the chairman told him his time was up and he WAS going to take HIS time to speak now.

An example of idiots with power (Cummings) who think they can treat anyone anyway they like. I, myself, will be writing the congressman an e mail demanding he stop wasting taxpayers' time with his outbursts, and to learn how to respect people being questioned.

His website is here, if you'd like to contact him...

http://www.house.gov/cummings/

---------------------------

Bill Clinton is OFFICIALLY 100% insane. In his library, there are mentions of the impeachment (link below with texts), and claims that the republicans were out to get him and use their power to ruin him. This coming from the same guy who hired thug criminals to intimidate those who were investigating the president...the same president that hired thug private investigators to dig up dirt on all women who came forward with PROVEN sexual abuse allegations...the same president who used his power to destroy the life of the members of the white house travel office, along with Hillary's help there.

This guy is beyond disgusting, and just hearing this BS makes me sick.

http://drudgereport.com/flash7bc.htm

Again, I will repeat...Bill Clinton loves himself, he's shameless, he's disgusting, and his lies make me sick.

War Is NOT Pretty, You Fools

A note to the idiots who have been attacking this marine nonstop. Mainly the mainstream media and fools on the left...

1. These terrorists have booby trapped the bodies of injured and dead in this area the entire time. The marine in question lost a buddy the day before due to such an act by these cowardly terrorists. Any sane person, knowing this, would do all they can to make sure they didn't become a victim of an IED or something else that was set up with a body.

2. We're talking about a wounded terrorist for crissakes! A man who killed innocent people because he could! Why are the bleeding hearts gushing over the poor terrorist who is now dead? Unborn babies are fair game, but terrorists who are possibly boob trapped are off limits?!

3. War is NOT pretty. It's not a normal everyday thing to have bullets whizzing by your head nonstop...rockets exploding all around you, snipers in surrounding buildings doing all they can to take your head off.

4. The marine in question was SHOT IN THE FACE the day before this took place. Tho, I did notice the anti-American fools at the BBC News made note to report that the marine suffered a "minor cheek qound", as opposed to stating the fact that he was SHOT IN THE FACE. Good ol' BBC doing their job of MISreporting the facts.

5. Many have spoken of the Geneva Convention in regards to this situation, and a quick note to these fools as well...

The geneva convention does not apply to these terrorists we are currently fighting. Because...

A. the convention applies only to uniformed military

B. the military fighters in question have to be fighting for a particular nation. Whatever terrorist group they belong to, it doesn't qualify as a nation.

C. the fighters have to be from a nation that signed off on the convention. again, this doesn't even matter because they're not part of a specific nation.

No terrorists are protected by the convention, because none of them are fighting for the Iraqi army. The phase of the war that is covered by the convention is over...there's no Iraqi army fighting US/allied forces. The nation's military and government are now on OUR side.

It's pathetic that we're even having this debate. It's sad that Nightline devotes time to the story, then devotes time to showing the arab reaction, including reaction from the dishonest, terrorist outfit Al Jazeera. Yes, Ted Koppel IS a joke...

Thank God we didn't have you pussies around during WWII. If you idiots were spouting off then like you are now (gotta love that blame America crowd!), we'd probably be speaking German. Thank the lord you people weren't out and about back then...

Constantly striving for scientific ignorance, as well as ANY sense at all, PETA has a new campaign saying that fish have feelings and are your friend...don't eat them. All medical professionals know a diet with no meat or fish is unhealthy, and there are certain things we get from meat we can't really get anywhere else. That doesn't stop the radical nutjobs at PETA, nor should it...if they did suddenly have common sense, who would we laugh at? Who would we mock?

The Christian-hating ACLU is out of control. We all know this.

http://www.townhall.com/columnists/dennisprager/dp20041116.shtml

Thank God for sane people like Prager who expose these anti-christian zealots who are more dangerous in this country than the nazis and the KKK combined.

I'm waiting for a brave politician to come forward and demand we put an end to the constant talk of the IMAGINARY separation of church and state...a term and idea that can be found nowhere in ANY of our founding documents. An idea that took the words of a christian man, Thomas Jefferson, and twisted them to mean what these radical groups decided they think they should mean, to fit their own perverse agenda. God hating is chic...but it's stupid, and it's not historically grounded. The ACLU hates freedom, and they hate religion-their constant actions prove this everyday.

--------------------

When will we get our act together and bomb the broadcasting facilities of al jazeera? This terrorist-loving propaganda machine should be taken out, yet we've been hijacked by the PC among us, and that will never happen. Too bad since it puts us all in danger, kills our cause, and allows millions to be brainwashed into hating the west and this nation in particular.

Got the Home Movies DVD Set

So, today at about 1 PM, I went to get the Home Movies season 1 dvd set. 3 discs, 10 commentary tracks, all 13 episodes, commentary by the animators during the animatic and storyboard versions of the episodes, a hidden cookie on each disc that shows a bit of video (fairly funny)...and more. I like it a lot. I spent the afternoon listening to the commentary tracks and got thru 4 of them. They're funny (with Small, Benjamin, and Bouchard), but they don't have the program volume down low enough, so in some parts it's hard to concentrate on the commentary without the actual program audio coming thru too loud. They also didn't get Melissa or Jon Katz for the commentary or any extras, which is a shame.

The short home movie from Small on one of the discs is decent, tho it's not really funny. Some guitar master class spoof thing. Fairly lame in the end. Nice to see the animatics and the commentary tracks overall are a great added extra.

Video looks good, and the audio is decent. It's in 2.0 dolby stereo, no 5.1, but the audio is never effects heavy or anything, and the 2.0 sounds nice. The video is nice as well, as far as I can tell, tho I'm surely no expert on video or whatever. The colors all seem bright and vivid to me, and it looks good in my opinion.

The menus are nice, a bit of animation added to give them that extra touch, but there is a lag as each different animation thing starts up and changes. A bit odd, but I don't know if it was possible to do it any other way. Shout Factory did the DVD set...they also did the WONDERFUL Freaks and Geeks box set, which is FULL of tons of extras...commentary tracks, behind the scenes footage, etc.

Happy to hear one thing they mentioned in one of the commentaries- they said something about home movie season 2 dvd, and when they do the commentary for it, they will hopefully have Melissa with them. I guess that means there's a good chance of all the seasons being released eventually, so that's awesome. Would hate to see just 1 season put out on dvd.

I'm happy with the set, and I'm glad I picked it up...love the show, wish it wasn't cancelled, but to have it on DVD to keep is better than nothing.

Put Me on BET...NOW

I demand a vital position on the BET network. Ya know, the cable channel you turn to and see nothing but black faces. Well, a group of young greedy asians, blacks, and hispanics have sued Abercrombie & Fitch claiming that whites got better positions and they hurt "miorities" in doing so...plus, there advertising is "too white." Find me ONE case where a white individual sues a company that is "too black." I assure you, it won't be easy to find one, and most probably impossible. Whites don't have this obsession with imaginary racism that others do (as it seems.)

The company paid a $40 million settlement, but admitted no wrongdoing-they said it was better to pay than to go through a long draw out ordeal that would cost even more money and would possibly taint their image.

As anyone can tell- a $40 million settlement means one thing. The people bringing the lawsuit were interested in one thing and one thing only- money. Lots and lots of money...which tends to kill any case that what they're saying is true. Proving such supposed discrimination is ultimately impossible for the most part...it's all about perception. It's highly unlikely the company had an official policy that said- let's fire everyone who isn't white...and never allow anyone but whites get promoted. The PC screwed up world we live in stipulates that everyone, and I mean EVERYONE must be made happy. If you do nothing at all, yet offend one whiny person, then you might be totally screwed. To me, that seems to be the case here. As I said, the amount of money is so obscene, it's clearly a ploy for cash, and 2. these individuals will be painted with what I will call the "whiny bastards" bush forever.

I'll say it again, and we all know it's true. These issues are almost always the same. So called discrimination is in the eye of the beholder for the most part, and this is almost surely a case of some greedy young people who thought they could get away with nonsense, and actually succeeded in doing so.

I might be totally wrong about all of this, but I find it hard to believe a major corporate entity would have an official policy of intolerance and racism- that's bad for business, and it kills your chances of making the most amount of money, which is the very purpose of being in business to begin with. If I am right, these people should know it's unlikley they'll ever get good jobs when an employer see their pictures- you don't go out and hire people who might sue you! Plus, I guarantee you the opinion of most people is the same as mine...this was a money grab and nothing more, and these people are WAY to sensitive and are obsessed with imaginary racism. They see themselves as victims now, and most people hate victimology- the mindset that others owe you something for some made up pain they brought you.

All I can say is- good luck with the cash boys and girls, you're gonna need it. Once you're painted with "whiny bastard" brush, very few people will stand by your side ever again.

Hey muslims (as they story talks about muslims who are pissed)- stop your unending whining. Why is it you don't scream out in protest when terrorists use your so-called holy places for military bases or weapons stashes, yet you're the first ones to cry foul when a marine kills a man who is pretending to be dead...in a city where your fellow muslims are killing innocent people and doing their best to derail any possible peace by littering the place with dead bodies connected to bombs, in an attempt to kill anyone who comes near the dead or wounded. You have no answer to these questions, because you sympathize with what these terrorists do. If you didn't, you'd scream about it...you'd protest. You don't. You choose to protest the marines risking their lives for your sorry asses. It's sickening, and I'm near the point where I don't give a damned about your country anymore. THAT is the effect of your whining and your protests.

Poor Michael Badnarik is so clueless. He's destroying any chance he might ever have of holding ANY public office by whining like a little girl, demanding a state-wide recount in Ohio, claiming all the votes were counted. The same song the left and others sang in Florida in 2000, yet every recount came up nearly the same, which showed that all the votes were, indeed, counted. Libertarian candidates are almost always clueless, in that some of their views are just downright absurd and no one would approve of them. Drug legalization? Great idea, boys...now go away and come back when you have a SERIOUS candidate. I think Bednarik is the guy whose official policy is that we should cut off every single dollar of foreign aid we send out. That idea is so stupid, it should be criminal, good thing for Mikey boy, it isn't...because he'd be someones bitch in a cell right now.

In an attempt to prove their entire profession a joke...a group of mental health professionals have blasted Rush Limbaugh for mocking sufferers of what the mental health quacks have labeled Post Election Selection Trauma or PEST. In some areas they will hold free group therapy sessions for people who suffer from this terrible infliction. Not to bash all mental health professionals, some of them are great and have common sense and brains...unfortunately the majority of them are insane yahoos who have no idea whatsoever.

May this be a warning...stay away from the American Health Association (AHA), who has doctors who are attacking Limbaugh. Any group that supports a phony disease (PEST), and attacks those who mock the imaginary are people you surely want to stay clear of.

Search for the Home Movies DVD

THE GRID, the TNT original mini-series that aired a few months ago will be coming out on DVD according to tvshowsondvd.com Good show, I have it on VHS, and I've seen all 6 episodes, but I might pick this up for the extras.

I never watched the series, THE COMMISH when it originally aired, but season 1 is coming out on DVD.

I went to wal mart (two different locations) just now to find HOME MOVIES season 1 that comes out today on DVD, but neither location had it...they had the new Aqua Teen Hunger Force DVD set (vol 3), and I have vol 1 and 2, but I didn't pick this one up yet. I guess I'll have to get up in the morning and head over to Best Buy, since I called them and I know they will have it tomorrow.

While at Wal Mart, I noticed a few DVD sets I want tho...

Kingdom Hospital
The Wire season 1 (HBO)
Playmakers (ESPN)
Space Ghost (vol 1 and 2- the second one just came out today)
and a few others I am just totally forgetting all of a sudden.

I went to the library earlier to pick up At Home With the Braithwaites DVD season 1 I had on hold, and I noticed this beautiful girl standing in line waiting to get a new card or a plac card, I believe- the plac card is the kind you get and pay for when you don't live in the county, and it allows you to check out materials anywhere in the state...which made me wonder if she was from outside of this area. Anyhow, at first she looked familiar, sort of like a younger version of one the women that actually works at the library (younger and way better looking, no offense to ms library lady), but it wasn't her...tho our eyes met maybe 10 times. I always feel quite awkward staring or even semi-staring at anyone (go figure, I know...it IS awkward). Anyhow, I knew there was little chance I'd ever see her again, she could be married for all I know...she was going to walk out the door and never be seen again, with her long black skirt and her almost hooker-style black boots, tho actually rather conservative looking- she looked rather conservative all over really, nice gray sweater that screamed out- I love to sit at home in front of a fireplace and read the classics.

So, she left before I was done checking my stuff out, and I happened to see her drive away, and don't ask me why, but I memorized her license plate number. Not that I couldn't find her with only that info, because I could...tho, hello, I'm not crazy, so that would sort of, ya know, be out of the question. Just felt like it wasn't a good idea to just let ms knit sweater get away like that. Odd, yes. But still.

Oh well...

Bill Clinton's 'Condition'

Bill Clinton has a condition. Besides being in love with himself, he is, of course, as dishonest as they come. No sitting president that I know of has told so many lies...to the press, to the citizens, to judges, to fellow staffers. The man is a pathological liar through and through, and that will never change.

I read a story about Clinton battling to get his law license back...it was taken away because of his numerous lies and his attempt to get Lewinksy and others to commit perjury, plus he perjured himself as well.

The scariest thing about the story lies in the very first paragaph here:

In an effort to keep his law license, President Clinton has
argued that his testimony in the Monica Lewinsky case was
``not false as he defines that term,'' according
to court papers filed by the conservative group that is seeking
revocation of his license.

"Not false as he defines the term." ?!?!

Let me help ol' Bubba out here.

Here is the dictionary definitions of "false" and "lie":

false ( P ) Pronunciation Key (fôls)
adj. fals·er, fals·est
Contrary to fact or truth: false tales of bravery.
Deliberately untrue: delivered false testimony under oath.
Arising from mistaken ideas: false hopes of writing a successful novel.
Intentionally deceptive: a suitcase with a false bottom; false promises.
Not keeping faith; treacherous: a false friend. See Synonyms at faithless.
Not genuine or real: false teeth; false documents.
Erected temporarily, as for support during construction.
Resembling but not accurately or properly designated as such: a false thaw in January; the false dawn peculiar to the tropics.
Music. Of incorrect pitch.
Unwise; imprudent: Don't make a false move or I'll shoot.
Computer Science. Indicating one of two possible values taken by a variable in Boolean logic or a binary device.

adv.
In a treacherous or faithless manner: play a person false.

[Middle English fals, from Old English, counterfeit,, and from Old French, false both from Latin falsus, from past participle of fallere, to deceive.]

falsely adv.
falseness n.
---------------------
Lie ( P ) Pronunciation Key (l), Trygve Halvden. 1896-1968.

Norwegian politician and first secretary-general of the United Nations (1946-1953).

lie1 ( P ) Pronunciation Key (l)
intr.v. lay, (l) lain, (ln) ly·ing, (lng) lies
To be or place oneself at rest in a flat, horizontal, or recumbent position; recline: He lay under a tree to sleep.
To be placed on or supported by a surface that is usually horizontal: Dirty dishes lay on the table. See Usage Note at lay1.
To be or remain in a specified condition: The dust has lain undisturbed for years. He lay sick in bed.

To exist; reside: Our sympathies lie with the plaintiff.
To consist or have as a basis. Often used with in: The strength of his performance lies in his training.
To occupy a position or place: The lake lies beyond this hill.
To extend: Our land lies between these trees and the river.
To be buried in a specified place.
Law. To be admissible or maintainable.
Archaic. To stay for a night or short while.

n.
The manner or position in which something is situated.
A haunt or hiding place of an animal.
Sports. The position of a golf ball that has come to a stop.
(partial definition, rest left out for space restriction)
------------------

Now, to me, it's fairly simple when something is true or not true...a lie or not a lie...honest or dishonest.

We have a former president, who millions adore as a god, who actually has the audacity to tell a court that he doesn't define the term honest and truth the same as everyone else...this is the same man who debated the meaning of the word "is" for crissakes! How ridiculous can he and his wife get, and is there no end to their lack of shame? It amazes me that anyone in the country respects this man, let alone worships him. For a former president to shame himself and the nation by constantly lying, and by now refusing to admit he ever told a lie...that's just sad.

It's no surprise that Clinton's lies still haven't ended, even years after he has left office. You have to wonder if his new presidential library opening this week will have a special display devoted to his many lies and distortions.

My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss #2

Tonight was episode 2 of My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss, but, I come home to watch it on the DVR, but I see it started the record at 8:41 instead of 8 for some reason, so there's only 20 mins there. They're not reairing this episode (maybe in a rerun, but I doubt it, being the type of show it is), so that sucks...I get one episode and miss the second. Good Eats was set to record as well but did the same thing (only recorded 3 mins of that), and Huff episode 2 started recording 3 mins late. So annoying.

I bought the Justice League 10" Superman figure from ebay today, and Tuesday, I'm going to see if any place has Home Movies on DVD, tho I don't see it on bestbuy.com or walmart.com, which might mean they're not going to carry it. I don't want to have to order it, send off payment, wait for them to get it, have them process it and wait for them to send it. That would suck.

I just thought, I work in the building next to the Fox station here. I need to walk over and demand them dub a copy of the episode from tonight. Yeah, and I'm sure they will oblige. Uh huh. Or call the police...one of the two.

Media Still Pushing Bogus Cleland Combat Story

Again, the media are portraying bitter old Max Cleland as a man who lost limbs in "combat," tho everyone knows this is not the case. In an attempt to bolster Cleland's status as a war hero who left three limbs on the battlefield, this combat wound lie has popped up time and time again.

Cleland lost his limbs in an area outside of combat. He went with a few other soldiers to set up a radio communication center, and when he was about to get back on the helicopter to go back to base, he changed his mind and decided to have a few beers with some other soldiers there...so, he told the pilot this, then ducked to avoid the chopper blades. A moment later, he saw a grenade lying on the ground. Thinking he had dropped it when he stooped down, he picked it up, and it went off. This is how he lost his legs. This is clearly not a combat wound. It was merely an awful accident, and the facts need to be known, because the media keep pushing this hero Cleland nonsense.

Cleland would have never been elected to any office if he had not had this accident, and he himself has said that he's no hero for losing his limbs, and that it wasn't in combat...why, then, does the Boston Globe and almost every other major media outlet keep pushing this lie? Bias, that's why...their desire to pump up Cleland's stature as a hero who was injured in battle. Don't let the MSM pull the wool over your eyes. Cleland is an angry man who was a poor politician, and he has helped the media push this lie. These are not honorable actions, and even tho his accident was unfortunate, he's not a war hero who lost something in combat.

http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2004/11/14/on_the_trail_of_kerrys_failed_dream?mode=PF

On Thursday, July 29, the last night of the convention, the man whose fame was launched by denunciations of a war stepped onto the podium and gave a military salute. "I'm John Kerry," the candidate told the cheering delegates, "and I'm reporting for duty."

The line was the brainstorm of former US senator Max Cleland of Georgia. A close friend and Vietnam veteran who had lost both legs and his right arm in combat, Cleland had planned to use a version of the line in introducing Kerry. "John saw that in a draft of my speech, he liked it, and he took it for his own," Cleland recalled.

Kerry had drafted his own speech in longhand on a legal pad with input from advisers. Once finished, he practiced delivering it during sessions inside his Nantucket garage.

Continuing to Expose the Sheer Hatred within 'Palestinian' Society

Great site that monitors palestinian TV, showing the hatred and violence that is preached on the channel everyday...especially to children, no matter how young they are. Another reason why I think that there's no way peace will come anytime soon (if ever)...these people are so infected with this perverse hateful mindset and culture that peace loving people in the region have no chance of changing much of anything. It's sad, and now that the evil Arafat is gone, this might begin to change. We'll see. I won't hold out much hope...

A transcript of one of the video clips on this TV section of the palestinian media watch site. This shows you how sick the overall society is:

Kill all the Jews- Words of Palestinian Teenager on TV [PA TV
Oct. 22, 2000]
Young girls about 12 years old, in a crowd with white head
covers, flags waving across the screen, were interviewed on PA TV
on 22 October 2000. One with an increasingly vituperative shrill
voice and angry expressive hand and arm movements, says:
"We ask that countries stand by our side We want them to help us.
We only want them to give us weapons. We on our own young boys
and girls, we kill them[the Jews] on our own, murder them, shoot
all of them. Just give us weapons, the boys and the girls
themselves we will kill them all[the Jews]. We won’t leave a
single Jew, We won’t leave a single Jew here".

Scary, isn't it? This is what boggles the mind. We could easily demand that an 'international' body (not the UN, since they have had their chance doing this but have failed miserably. Anyhow- I think we need to work with other nations and form a body to go in (with whatever necessary force) and demand an end to jew-hatred from the palestinian media (if we have to, and if they refuse to stop their crimes, we shut the station and presses that preach hatred down...if we have to, we destroy the facilities used to broadcast and put in FACTUAL broadcasts in place.) We demand factual textbooks for children, since their current textbooks teach hatred of the jews and holocaust denial, as well as a twisted teaching of history, leaving out the jews from world history and calling all historically hebrew and jewish sites by arab names, etc. We help Israel with the wall that will surely keep the peace in a small way, because it will keep out the terrorists...we go even further and distribute factual info. to all people in the palestinian areas and prosecute hate crimes if they occur.

This is a large task, and we would be pissing off many arab nations by doing so...but, these arab nations that would be angered and just as sick and vile as the palestinian leadership and much of the population itself, so it won't matter- you can't win with maniacs. If we did all of these things and more, we could work to change the mindset that the children have and the adults have as well...we help Israel route out all terrorists groups, destroy the existing ones, and destroy the capacity to spread hatred (thru TV, radio, print, etc), and in time we can change these people...we can spread the truth and destroy the hate that infects their textbooks, entertainment, and culture.

No American politician has the guts to do this, and that's a shame...because the strategy in place for many years has done nothing, because it has never been a full plan. You can't try to broker peace and allow the authorities to ban elections, ban dissent, preach false facts about Israel, Jews, and overall world history, etc. It never worked and it never will. This plan MIGHT work, and it should be tried...

Cue The Music...

As opposed to inserting a music clip...
Halleuijah...Halleuijah...

That is right, it is clearly time to celebrate, for the first season of THE WAYANS BROTHERS will be released on DVD in February (along with season 1 of Night Court- also a great show, plus a few other titles from Warner Bros)...I never thought I'd see this show on DVD period, but miracles do happen.

Also in Feb, The Brak Show vol 1 will be released...and Home Movies season 1 comes out this coming week!

FilmFakers

Anyone see this new AMC series, FILMFAKERS? They take a few "actors" (I guess they're actors who have just never done any work or whatever) and they bring them to a set to make a movie...a movie that is phony, along with a director, co-stars, crew who are all phony as well. The movie they're 'making' is so bad, that it's funny to watch them overact and do the outrageous things the director wants them to do to pull it all off.

The series started the week before Halloween, and they made an awful horror movie called CROCPARK about a group of friends spending time at some cabin in the woods, and they start mutating into insane crocodiles. It was pretty funny, and the director and the actor who knows it's fake were good.

Unfortunately, I missed the next two 'movies' because I forgot to tape them, but now I have the DVR set to record the rest of them, and hopefully they reair the two I missed. There is a christmas movie coming up in December, and a western I believe as well this month.

Good show...you have to wonder where they find these people, because they are so clueless.

I spoke about the IMAX theatre before, and I was looking at imax.com and noticed this Christmas movie that plays every year (so the sites say) called SANTA VS THE SNOWMAN(3D). I hope they show it here at this location, and I know they're showing it in Indianapolis at the museum there- I think they got rid of the location I went to before, because I don't see it listed, and I don't think the museum is at the state park there. Weird.

Also, I saw this link on Drudge...

Quads, Bad Govt Ideas, and Arafat with AIDS?

I still can't find anyone who has episodes of the animated series, John Callahan's QUADS, aired in Canada on Teletoon and in Australia (other places as well, I'm sure). If anyone has episodes of this show and make me a copy, please e-mail me.

I noticed a story on a push by some in congress to make mental health exams for all children mandatory. An incredibly insane idea, and a clear invasion of the parent-child relationship...not to mention a waste of time and money, and a push to overmedicate our children. There are no pluses to such a ridiculous idea, and you have to wonder where the millions to pay for this would come from!

Finally, The NY Times (ya know, the paper that makes up the news based on phony info) theorizes that Arafat had AIDS, and that's what killed him. Who knows, and who cares? He's dead, and that's good...that's all that matters. Speaking of this issue- palestinians showed their true nature today, when tens of thousands of them barged thru fences to celebrate their terrorist leader. Armed masked men from the various terrorist groups walking thru the crowd celebrating the godfather of modern terrorism...it was sickening to see. It shows you one big thing tho- people that praise a terrorist are nowhere near ready for peace. Watch and see, I guarantee you we will never see peace in Israel in our lifetimes. No true, lasting peace, at least.

Democrats Join MoveOn Whackos in Nutjob Theories

MoveOn, a handful of democratic congressmen, and nutjob conspiracy theorists over the internet are claiming the election was stolen...demanding an investigation into voting problems in Ohio and Florida. You know they care nothing about making sure all votes count, because they are ONLY worried about 2 states- tho, the margin in Florida was millions, and even a nutjob could find a theory where millions of votes were miscounted, Ohio is closer, so they're concentrating on this state. Of course, the 10, 000 democratic lawyers found no case that Kerry could win, even when counting imaginary ballots or ballots cast by Elvis and Batman...yet, the nutjobs continue their crusade.

These same whackos claim the election was stolen 4 years ago, yet they neglect to look at any of the evidence for this idea. First- we know the media called Florida for Gore an hour before the polls in the panhandle (a republican stronghold) closed, and numerous election officials said there turnout in those areas were down by thousands...they estimate possibly 10, 000 votes for Bush were lost due to people not voting, knowing Gore had won the state. Plus, we know that when media announces a winner, people usually vote FOR the winner. The thousands of votes we know had to be lost here with the premature media screwup would have left Gore with no chance of endless recounts...

Next, we know that Bush wasn't the one who refused to let this process end. Bush was planning his administration...and knew he had won fair and square. Gore, as you will recall, was the one who demanded a recount...then a hand recount, then a hand recount in just a handful of predominantly democratic counties...then, Florida law states that the election results MUST be in 7 days after the election, and any counties not certified by that day would be left out of the overall count (which means Bush would have surely won with this ruling), and then the state would be certified by the sec of state. BUT...The Florida Supreme Court, in a move of judicial activism, rules that the state constitution didn't matter, and that it was okay to ignore the law...they said they would give a 19 day extension. BUT, even after all of the recounts were finished, Gore STILL lost Florida. Also, the US Supreme Court took the case and sent the ruling back to the SCOFL, telling them they did NOT follow the law and that they could not ignore the Fl Constitution as they had. We all know the SCOTUS is not in it for Bush (try claiming that Ginsberg, appointed by Clinton, and as liberal as you can possibly be wanted to help Bush! that's absurd..) So, the SCOTUS put an end to endless recounts and demanded that the state of Florida and the SCOFL abide by the rule of law and certify the results that STILL showed Bush on top, which gave Bush Florida and the election.

Then, there are the claims that the butterfly ballot were illegal, but we need to see that democratic officials approved the ballots, PLUS- the illegality of this ballot was based on false reporting. I have seen the statute, and the legal notes regarding ballots were speaking of CHECK MARK (with a pencil) ballots, not butterfly punchcard ballots, which were fine in Florida.

In a nation of 300 million people, with over 100 million voting, problems are going to occur. In general, it's a smooth system with some flaws that will eventually be worked on and resolved, but the election was fair, and Bush won...just as he did the last time.

These theories of stealing an election (something Al Gore tried to do with his refusal to live with Florida election law, and his endless demands for selective recounts) are bunk, and all sane people know it. Such is the case this time as well, but whackos will endlessly contend that it wasn't fair.

IMAX

The chain of theatres in town...well, there's one chain and then one bigger theatre that just has one location...is opening up an IMAX theater in one of their locations (the location I always go to...it's the nicest location, and the biggest.) Anyhow, the IMAX theatre opens November 19 with the new Tom Hanks's film, Polar Express in 3-D. It says in their press release that you have to buy reserved adanced tickets or whatever to the opening, and I won't be going, but I will be going as soon as I can.

I've been to the IMAX theatre in Indianapolis (the one at the state park- white river state park, I think it is?), and it was nice...saw that Val Kilmer movie where he was a pilot in the 20's or 30's and he crashed, blah blah...decent movie, but the experience of seeing a film in the 70mm format (I think IMAX uses soemthing called 15/70mm), with the best possible audio and top notch projectors with high quality IMAX format film...it's pretty awesome, to say the least...and to see all of that on a screen that is 2, 3, 4 -however many times the size of a regular cinema screen, it just adds yet another layer to it.

Pretty cool that this area is finally getting a theatre, and hopefully they'll get some interesting movies.

Arafat: The Monster In His Own Words

Want to know what sort of man Arafat really was? Well, look no further than his own words (and his actions)...

"Find whatever strength you have to terrorize your enemy."
Arafat, in a speech to Palestinians May 16, 2004

"This child, who is grasping the stone, facing the tank: Is it not the greatest message to the world when that hero becomes a martyr? We are proud of them."
Arafat, on Palestinian Authority Television, Jan. 15, 2002

"Whoever thinks of stopping the uprising before it achieves its goals, I will give him 10 bullets in the chest."
Arafat, speaking of the first intifada in 1989

And, again, to show how clueless Jimmy Carter is...here's a quote from him...

"A very moderate person struggling against almost insurmountable odds to hold disparate groups of Palestinians together."
Former President Jimmy Carter, speaking of Arafat in 1993

Burger King Spongebob Watches

To advertise the new Spongebob Squarepants movie in theaters this month, Burger King will be selling Spongebob watched (5 different watches, I believe), with a new every watch every week, for $1.99 with a value meal. I had to write this down, so I can remember to go and get one each week...starting November 15 and ending December 28. I have a number of spongebob items (nowhere near as many Toy Story items I have), but I collect the stuff, so I thought this was cool.

They don't have any info. as far as I saw on the Burger King website, but I saw the commercial at the end of Jimmy Neutron Attack of the Twonkies which premiered tonight...and it was a pretty good movie, like the other Jimmy Neutron movies (tho, I've never seen the Jimmy/Timmy Power Hour one). Sheen cracks me up.

By the way, I mentioned that minestrone recipe, and I actually went and got the stuff to make it. It was pretty good, tho next time I'm going to add 3 times as many egg noodles...the recipe called for one cup and I doubled it all, but it was still barely any noodles. Oh well, I'll fix that next time I make up.

Now, I need to find some other simple recipes that are cheap to make...

The Reason There Will be No Peace in Israel

This is a prime of example of why we will not see peace in the palestinian areas in our lifetime. The palestinian people are completely warped into this sick mindset that their "leader" was a great man...a man to be praised, a man whose dream was peace, tho we all know his one goal was to destroy Israel and the Jewish people.

It's too bad this plague of hatred infects the entire palestinian society the way it does, but it will surely be their ultimate downfall, and it will end any chance of true lasting peace.

On the same subject...I am shocked to hear that the US will send a representative for the burial of this monster. I'm ashamed to say that by sending a rep, we are in effect legitimizing the man and his so-called "struggle" and his "dream." We're honoring a man who murdered numerous people, including innocent children, pregnant women, etc. We are saying to the world- this guy was official, now as he is buried, we pay our respects...why we're going to send this message to the world, I've no idea, but it's a clueless action by the state department.

Speaking of clueless...possibly the worst president in US history, Jimmy 'I vow not to use force, no matter what' Carter has said that Arafat was "a powerful human symbol and forceful advocate," and that he was partly responsible for the agreement in 1993 (an agreement that was a sham to begin with, and one that he broke numerous times!) Like his presidency, nearly everything that comes out of his mouth is a joke.

More...Arafat's (very young and twisted) wife will be paid $22 million a year by the palestinian authority...an agreement that she reached recently with pm Abbas. This will cover has lavish lifestyle in Paris. Problem is- this money is not truly hers to begin with. Most of it comes from money the (also clueless) European Union has been giving to Arafat for "his" people...it numbers in the billions and it was supposed to be used to help the people, to build schools and hospitals, etc. Unfortunately, it was used on weapons, terrorist funding, terrorist training, deals with thugs across the globe, and lush palaces for Arafat's cronies. Now, the money taken from Europe will be handed over to Arafat's mind-bogglingly stupid wife. Clearly, also a shameful display of ignorance by the leader's of the world and the PA.

Jacoby on the Monster that was Arafat

Jacoby is right on with this piece. He is doing what most writers and journalists refuse to do- tell the truth about the evil person Yasser Arafat was. He isn't telling his story as a man of courage, but exposing him for the brutal child-murdering thug he was, and now that he's dead- God will surely damn his soul for eternity (a thought that might give some peace to those who have lost so many family members by the actions of this horrible excuse for a human being.)

Great piece, and I wish that more writers would speak the real story of Arafat- not this teary eyed praise nonsense that I see too often, especially in the European "press."

ARAFAT THE MONSTER
By Jeff Jacoby
The Boston Globe

Thursday, November 11, 2004

on the globe website

Yasser Arafat died at the age of 75, lying in bed and surrounded by familiar faces. He left this world peacefully, unlike the thousands of victims he sent to early graves.

In a better world, the PLO chief would have met his end on a gallows, hanged for mass murder much as the Nazi chiefs were hanged at Nuremberg. In a better world, the French president would not have paid a visit to the bedside of such a monster. In a better world, well-wishers would not be flocking to the hospital grounds to create a makeshift shrine of flowers, candles, and admiring messages. In a better world, George Bush would not have said, on hearing the first reports that Arafat had died, "God bless his soul."

God *bless* his soul? What a grotesque thing to say! Bless the soul of the man who brought modern terrorism to the world? Who sent his agents to slaughter athletes at the Olympics, blow airliners out of the sky, bomb schools and pizzerias, machine-gun passengers in airline terminals? Who lied, cheated, and stole without compunction? Who inculcated the vilest culture of Jew-hatred since the Third Reich? Human beings might stoop to bless a creature so evil -- as indeed Arafat was blessed, with money, deference, even a Nobel Prize -- but God, I am quite sure, will damn him for eternity.

Arafat always inspired flights of nonsense from Western journalists, and his last two weeks were no exception.

Arafat's "undisputed courage as a guerrilla leader," Derek Brown wrote in The Guardian, was exceeded only "by his extraordinary courage" as a peace negotiator. But it is an odd kind of courage that expresses itself in shooting unarmed victims and exhorting other people to become suicide bombers -- or in signing peace accords and then flagrantly violating their terms.

Another commentator, columnist Gwynne Dyer, asked, "So what did Arafat do right?" The answer: He drew worldwide attention to the Palestinian cause, "for the most part by successful acts of terror." In other words, butchering innocent human beings was "right" since it served an ulterior political motive. No doubt that thought brings daily comfort to all those who were forced to bury a child, parent, or spouse because of Arafat's "successful" terrorism.

Some journalists couldn't wait for Arafat's actual death to begin weeping for him. Take the BBC's Barbara Plett, who burst into tears on the day he was airlifted out of the West Bank. "When the helicopter carrying the frail old man rose above his ruined compound," Plett reported from Ramallah, "I started to cry." Normal people don't weep for brutal murderers, but Plett made it clear that her empathy for Arafat -- whom she praised as "a symbol of Palestinian unity, steadfastness, and resistance" -- was heartfelt:

"I remember well when the Israelis re-conquered the West Bank more than two years ago," she said, "how they drove their tanks and bulldozers into Mr. Arafat's headquarters, trapping him in a few rooms, and throwing a military curtain around Ramallah. I remember how Palestinians admired his refusal to flee under fire. They told me: 'Our leader is sharing our pain, we are all under the same siege.' And so was I." Such is the state of journalism at the BBC, whose reporters do not seem to have any trouble reporting, dry-eyed, on the pain of Arafat's victims. (That is, when they mention them -- which Plett's teary bon voyage to Arafat did not.)

And what about those victims? Why were they scarcely remembered in the drawn-out Arafat deathwatch?

How is it possible to reflect on Arafat's most enduring legacy -- the rise of modern terrorism -- without recalling the legions of men, women, and children whose lives he and his followers destroyed? If Osama bin Laden were on his deathbed, would we neglect to mention all those he murdered on 9/11?

It would take an encyclopedia to catalog all of the evil Arafat committed. But that is no excuse for not trying to recall at least some of it.

Perhaps his signal contribution to the practice of political terror was the introduction of warfare against children. On one black date in May 1974, three PLO terrorists slipped from Lebanon into the northern Israeli town of Ma'alot. They murdered two parents and their child at home, then seized a local school, taking more than 100 boys and girls hostage and threatening to kill them unless a number of imprisoned terrorists were released. When Israeli troops attempted a rescue, the terrorists exploded hand grenades and opened fire on the students. By the time the horror ended, 25 people were dead; 21 of them were children.

Thirty years later, no one speaks of Ma'alot anymore. The dead children have been forgotten. Everyone knows Arafat's name, but who ever recalls the names of his victims?

So let us recall them: Ilana Turgeman. Rachel Aputa. Yocheved Mazoz. Sarah Ben-Shim'on. Yona Sabag. Yafa Cohen. Shoshana Cohen. Michal Sitrok. Malka Amrosy. Aviva Saada. Yocheved Diyi. Yaakov Levi. Yaakov Kabla. Rina Cohen. Ilana Ne'eman. Sarah Madar. Tamar Dahan. Sarah Soper. Lili Morad. David Madar. Yehudit Madar. The 21 dead children of Ma'alot -- 21 of the thousands of innocents who died at Arafat's command.

Call Me Sheltered

Call me sheltered, but I don't think I've ever had minestrone. I don't even know what it is, but for the back of this can of sliced carrots bought yesterday. Nearly everynight, I fall to sleep with a tape full of dr. katz episodes playing, and it's usually the tape that has the episode where Ben asks Laura about opera and he asks if she likes minestrone, but other than that I don't know when I've heard anyone even mention it, and I don't know if I've ever seen it.

Anyhow- I was thinking I would make some, since the recipe is so simple an idiot could follow it, plus I already have the carrots, and I am sick and tired of eating fast food. Always looking for something easy to cook, but never finding anything that I can make that is 1. easy (as I said) and 2. cheap. Well, those things and it has to taste good. I felt the need to share this, don't ask me why...

I was cooking one of those baked potato things- the potato things that are like mashed potatoes with a topping in a little paper tray thingy. Anyhow, I was cooking a cheddar cheese one in the microwave, and it smelled funny...I opened it up when it was nearly done to check on it, mainly because of the odd smell and the fact that I heard popping and couldn't figure what the heck that was...so, I open it and I nearly pass out from the fumes, which had me worried right away. Actually, weird as it is sounds, my first thought was- 'Oh my god, this product has been poisoned! I'm soon to die!' Thankfully, that wasn't the case, and I am still here...tho my eys were burning as was my throat and lungs. I took the plate out and noticed the edge was all brown and a piece had broken off from the bottom...a chip of it. It was a plastic plate, and I've used it in the microwave numerous times, but I looked and it says not recommened for the microwave. I threw the plate away and need to remember to not do that again.

I got the books on CD- Arrogance by Bernard Goldberg and Bush Country by John Podhoretz. I don't recall if I mentioned that. Speaking of which, I need to return books today and I noticed they have Arrested Development first season on DVD. A show I saw all but 1 or 2 episodes of and have already started taping the second season which started this past Sunday night. I notice they also have Dead Like Me season 1 on DVD...good Showtime series on its second season. I liked the first episode and taped numerous episodes but never watched any of them, and haven't seen any of season 2 (yet.)

That new Nick show Unfabulous is decent. Definitely not a show for my age group, but still a good watch.

I was watching Batman the Animated Series DVD earlier, then Sitting Ducks on DVD, but now I am about to sleep for a bit and do so while watching Dr. Katz. Plus, I just remembered it's Veteran's Day, and I bet the library is closed. Dang.

Little Caesars Pizza and Mythbusters

I'm wondering...didn't we ever have a Little Caesars Pizza near in my local area? I used to live in Florida and Georgia, and we always had one near then, but I never see any commercials for the place or anything...had to check the web just to see if the place still existed. I always liked their pizza. A lot of pizza I don't like. Pizza Hut, for example, isn't that good to me. Dominos, I like, and this local place called Sam's Pizza is really great- they have the thin crust pizza in a rectangle shape...or maybe it is more square. I dunno, but I do know they have great pizza.

I watched the episode of Mythbusters a bit ago, and next week they have a 2 hour national treasure special...national treasure as in the new movie with Nicolas Cage, and they're doing a sort of tie in thing with the movie and having a preview of it...plus, I assume, busting myths that are closely related to the film's plot- they show them looking at the declaration of independence and Adam is rolling up a phony document, acting like he's stealing it.

Speaking of which- I'd love to go to DC. Never been. They took those trips in high school, and I don't think anyone could go, but I never did...probably way too expensive to begin with. I'd love to go to the different historical sites and all. Would be fun...don't think it'll be taking place anytime soon tho.

Someday...

Women Who Sound Like Old Smokers

Ya know...I always found Cree Summer's voice to be quite annoying. She does the voice for many animated characters. She does the voice of Suzie on the Rugrats, one of the female characters on Code Name: Kids Next Door on Cartoon Network, Carver's sister and mother and baby brother on Disney's The Weekenders, Miranda on As Told By Ginger, one of the dogs on Clifford from PBS, and now she plays Foxxy Love on Comedy Central's new animated "reality show," Drawn Together.

This new character is a black chick (her blackness she mentions a lot) with weird fox like ears (or is that something she's wearing?), and she's supposed like Foxy Brown, I guess. No idea. Anyway- I always used to think her voice was all craggy (is that the word I'm looking for?) and a bit annoying. Actually, really annoying...I mean, come on- she sounds like an old woman who smoked all her life then lost a lung. But, since I started watching this show, I like her voice more and more. It's kinda cute in a weird sort of way. She's also very cute in the Nicktoons Shorts on Nicktoons TV.

Drawn Together, on the other hand, isn't so good. It's completely brainless and almost totally unfunny...a little asian pokemon-liek character who speaks no english, a gay super hero who is on a "never ending quest" to save his girlfriend, a buff super hero guy who is always horning, a pig played by Adam Carrola (or however you spell his name), and a few other odd characters that are more than a bit annoying. I've watched the first 3 episodes tho, hoping it might get good...about to watch the new episode from tonight, but I doubt it's going to get any better.

Anyway, back to Cree...
I don't remember anything about that show THE DIFFERENT WORLD from way back when, besides that one guy's sunglasses, but she was also on that show.

Zell Miller Gives Clueless NY Times Dowd Well Deserved Tongue-Lashing

Senator Zell Miller gave the always annoying Maureen Dowd, the conservative-hating editorial writer for the NY Times, a well deserved tongue-lashing yesterday on Meet The Press, when he told Tim Russert that her crazy rants were making the red states "redder" and that Americans won't take nicely to being called an idiot by "some high brow hussy from New York City."

Miller, a democrat who supported President Bush, couldn't have said it better. I think that all reasonable Americans, conservatives and liberals, are tired of hateful rhetoric from the likes of Dowd and other NY Times cronies...heck, I'm certain most Americans are tired of that dreadful rag altogether.

All the news that meets our standard of 'Bush-bashing, religion-hating, and conservative-attacking,' is fit to print.

Evil Has Left the Building?

According to a CBS News special report during CSI:NY a few minutes ago, terrorist group founder, evil-doer, and thief of billions from both the arab states and the EU, Yasser Arafat has died. I see no reports of this on any news website, not even on cbsnews.com...no word of it on drudge or fox or cnn, no news reports on any other network (not even the cable news nets), but I take it it's official. The man who was responsible for so much violence, so many deaths, so much evil is finally gone from this world, and I am not one bit sad to say- he's not in a good place right now. Maybe satan is busy blowing up nail bombs next to Arafat, and the nails and metal scraps are flying thru various parts of his body...the same fate of many children killed by bombers who were financed, sent out, and praised by the man.

Anyhow, this is good news to me, and I would suspect all peace loving members of society.

In other news, I am quite concerned about President Bush's new move to legalize many illegal aliens (an amnesty measure) currently in the US. This is an idiotic move that will do nothing but fuel the desire for others to come into this country illegally and put us all in danger. Watch it- Bush will get this breathtakingly stupid move thru, and we'll find out that in the group of newly legal citizens are terrorist cell members who made it thru the southern border, and now others will come because they know that, ultimately, people like George Bush will reward illegal behavior.

Illegal immigration is one of the biggest domestic problems, and THE biggest domestic security issue, and moves like this make me wonder what on earth the president is thinking.

Hopefully, such a measure won't pass (it's highly unlikeyly since the same measure was completely defeated before) and we will NOT reward lawbreakers with citizenship.

I urge all of you to send e mails and lettes to the White House and your reps in Congress and demand that illegal aliens not be rewarded. We all have to follow the rule of law, they should have to as well.

Hotmail Upgrade and Matt Lauer's Stupidity

The promised hotmail upgrade went into effect today...you can now send bigger attachments (up to 10MB I think), and the inbox went from 2MB to 250MB. Nice, considering the fact that 2MB is tiny and just a handful of messages can clog your inbox and if you go over or near the limit, it stops incoming messages and bounces them back. I noticed that the inbox thing on the side said 1% used, so I was like- huh? Then, I noticed it says 250MB. Sweet.

Also, the liberal utopia known as The Today Show on NBC is at it again...this time Matt Lauer is comparing the Iraqi terrorists (called insurgents by some) to Washington's army of underequipped, underfed men during the Revolutionary War. I guess fighting for freedom against an empire who demands domination over you and terrorists killing innocent men, women, and children are the same in his mind. How stupid can you get? Shameless.

From the Media Research Center's Cyber Alert Nov 10, 2004:

Seemingly inspired by Chris Matthews, in a Tuesday Today
segment with Lynne Cheney about her children's book on George
Washington crossing the Delaware River, Matt Lauer referred to
how
Washington led "a rag-tag group, not well-fed, not well-clothed,
completely under-equipped as compared to this great British
army,"
and pivoted to Iraq: "Let me ask you to think about what is
going
on in Iraq today where the insurgents not well equipped, smaller
in numbers, the greatest army in the world is their opposition.
What's, what's the lesson?" Lauer argued that "the insurgents
believe they're fighting for a cause as well. They don't believe
any less than we believe." Cheney scolded him: "You're being
awfully relativistic here. I mean, the insurgents are killing
Iraqis by the hundreds, Iraqis by the thousands. It's not as
though this is a matter between just 'on the one hand on the
other
hand.' We are on the side of freedom."

Just Naive, or Breathtakingly Stupid?

The election is over, and Kerry is not the president...but, I thought this was an interesting article I came across a bit ago, so I thought I'd post it.

Just naive, or breathtakingly stupid?

October 15, 2004
1:00 a.m. Eastern

WorldNetDaily.com

In the first presidential debate, John Kerry made a little noticed statement affirming his intention to provide Iran with nuclear fuel. "I think the United States should have offered the opportunity to provide the nuclear fuel, test them, see whether or not they were actually looking for it for peaceful purposes."

For those with a short memory, this was essentially the same policy the Clinton administration adopted toward North Korea – provide them nuclear fuel under the ridiculous assumption that Kim Jong II would only use the nuclear fuel for electricity. Hence, the growing nuclear arsenal being amassed in North Korea, a threat John Kerry inappropriately sources to President Bush's watch.

Two analogies immediately jump to mind. Let's let the children play with dynamite to see if they've grown mature enough not to blow themselves up with it. Or, why not sell scrap metal to the Japanese? Surely Tojo won't use it to make battleships and aircraft carriers, and besides, the fleet's safe at Pearl Harbor.

The idea that a Kerry administration would willingly arm a rogue regime that supports terrorists with nuclear fuel is either so naive or breathtakingly stupid that we are driven to find a more reasonable explanation for the bizarre policy.

Look no farther than Hassan Nemazee, one of John Kerry's top fund-raisers. Mr. Nemazee – since the early days of the Clinton administration – has been a staunch proponent of the radical Islamic mullahs now ruling Iran. The list of prominent Democratic politicians who have received generous campaign contributions from Nemazee include Bill Clinton, Al Gore, John Edwards, Ted Kennedy, Robert Torricelli, Jon Corzine, Joseph Biden, Charles Schumer and Richard Gepardt, to name a few. The records of the Federal Election Commission show that Nemazee makes no attempt to be "fair and balanced" in that Republican politicians, with a few notable exceptions such as Jessie Helms, rarely show up as recipients of Nemazee's largess.

The three goals of the lobbyists supporting the mullahs in Iran are:

to normalize diplomatic and economic relations with Iran;

to get Iran included into the World Trade Organization; and

to provide Iran with access to nuclear fuel under the pretense that Iran would only use that fuel for domestic power.

What about all the oil Iran is sitting on? Doesn't the oil work in Iran to fuel power plants, just like it does here?

Kerry's campaign is on record supporting all these goals, even though John Edwards took the contrary position in the vice presidential debate when he maintained that a Kerry administration would want to increase sanctions on Iran. Doesn't sound like Edwards conferred with Kerry, who told the Council on Foreign Relations in December 2003 that "As president, I will be prepared early on to explore areas of mutual interest with Iran, just as I was prepared to normalize relations with Vietnam a decade ago."

This was the same John Kerry that told Sen. Fulbright's committee in April 1971 that only a few thousand Vietnamese would be inconvenienced if the United States withdrew from Vietnam and abandoned our allies there. Even today, John Kerry refuses to accept responsibility for the half million or more South Vietnamese put in prison camps when the communists took over, for the countless hundreds of thousands who perished in the Cambodian killing fields after the Khmer Rouge communists took over, or to the over 2 million boat people who fled Vietnam in search of freedom, with thousands of women and children perishing in their frail boats sent out on perilous waters.

Now John Kerry wants to give nuclear fuel to the mullahs – this, despite the evidence these same Iranian mullahs are funding insurgents coming into Iraq seeking to fight and kill our American troops. Iran is a sworn enemy of Israel. How can Sen. Kerry court the votes of Jewish Americans while he is openly advocating providing nuclear fuel to Iran? Oh, right, that nuclear fuel is only going to be used by the Iranians to produce electricity.

No problem then in asking American voters to back Sen. Kerry. Should the Iranians follow the lead of the North Koreans and actually make nuclear weapons, then, according to Sen. Kerry's famous nuanced logic, we will only then really know their intentions were always bad and they were merely lying.

What would a nuclear Iran mean? Clearly the mullahs wouldn't like to see oil soar to $100 a barrel or higher. Raking in those billions of windfall profits is clearly something the religious clerics of Iran would not seek, given their disdain for worldly gain. Nor would the Palestinians gain any negotiating leverage by pointing to a nuclear Iran as their regional power broker. As Nazi Germany gobbled up Europe and the Japanese rampaged across Asia, we in the United States did our best to put our collective head in the ground. Is this a mistake we want to repeat?

Maybe we should invite Sen. Kerry to tell us once again why nuclear proliferation is our No. 1 international concern, not terrorism, and how his Iran policy makes nuclear proliferation less likely. Or, in Sen. Kerry's world, maybe Iran also is not linked to terrorists, the same way that Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with al-Qaida.

Before Sen. Kerry's position reduces to pretzel logic, perhaps the answer is to reference Mad Magazine and imagine Sen. Kerry summing up the whole nuclear-fuel-to-Iran issue with the famous disclaimer, "What me worry?"

Jerome R. Corsi received a Ph.D. from Harvard University in political science in 1972 and has written many books and articles, including the No. 1 New York Times best-seller, "Unfit for Command – Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry." Dr. Corsi is an expert on political violence and terrorism and is currently writing a new book titled, "Atomic Islam," due to be released in 2005 by WND Books.

A Few Changes

So, I changed a few things...the text and link colors are a bit different on the right side column, and I changed it to 2 columns as opposed to 3. With three columns, I had trouble fitting wide pics in the blog body area without them running over and making the container boxes bigger, plus overlapping into the right column. I designed everything to look good in 1024x768 resolution, and I notice that in 800x600, the top banner overlaps into the right column, plus some text is huge in comparison to my screen resolution. I've not yet any idea how to set it where it looks the same in all resolutions, but maybe I will figure that out sometime. I posted in the movabletype forums about that, but no replies yet.

I'm going to add a few more things to the right column, and I was going to add some stuff below the bottom banner on the left, but I can't get it to go down there without screwing everything else up. I'm not HTML expert, as you can tell.

When I took out the middle column, I had to extend the blog body area over to the right more, and that meant I had to widen the bottom pic and add more white space to the top banner. I tried to widen it, but it made it all blurry- it's actually wider now than it originally was, a considerable bit wider. I think it looks okay with all the white space to the right, but who knows what anyone else thinks. I tried changing the color of the white to match the background, but that screwed up the bullet holes in the walls, then I tried adding 'THE BLUE SITE' in text in the white space, but that didn't look right either, so I just left it as it is.

A couple more changes, and that should be the basic layout.

I guess I am off to watch ACTION LEAGUE NOW episodes that I have on the DVR. Plus, I need to finish this O'Reilly Factor for Kids book. I'm nearly done with it, and it's not that good (not aimed at someone my age), but I'm reading it anyway.

Johanna Gomez

On numerous occasions, I have mentioned that there are some women out there who are so breathtakingly beautiful that it's painful to look at them. Maybe it's the thought that, no matter how your life goes, you will never get a girl this gorgeous, and you will never be able to sit in a room and just stare at her (who doesn't just sit in rooms and stare at each other? work with me people!)...maybe it's something else. I've no idea what it is (tho I don't think it's the possibility I mentioned), I could have a girl this beautiful, and it's still be painful to look at her.

I bet a woman would love to be told that. 'Hon...it's painful to look at you.' Oh yeah, chicks dig that crazy sweet talk!

Anyhow, Johanna Gomez, the co-host of the MUN2 show Fuzion is one of these women. She's latin, she's got beautiful dark skin, beautiful black hair, a great smile...a cute laugh, and she makes adorable faces. You cannot NOT love this girl. I started a VHS tape with nothing but only her clips from the show, recorded back-to-back. I mean, just in case she decides on a career change or something...I'd miss out on seeing her! Makes sense, right?

I take it she is now, or was at one point a dancer for the Miami Heat, a fact I just discovered tonight while trying to find pictures of her. I think I may have mentioned her before at one point, but I can't find any of the pictures I might have added to the site, so here are some new ones I found. Enjoy...

My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss

Just finished watching the new Fox series, My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss, a bit ago, and it's pretty funny. Not hilarious, but enjoyable enough to see these business school grads and current executives kissing up to some guy they think is a billionaire and the owner of a company worth $3.8 billion, a man who will become sleazier as the show goes on, and who will put these hopeful business pros through one ridiculous challenge after another...all culminating in the reveal of the even BIGGER boss who is actually calling all the shots, a boss whose reality we don't even know yet.

In the first episode, we met the contestants, tho none of them stand out, and the only name I can remember is Damien, and I don't even know why I remember his name at all. They meet this billionaire corporate genius, and he tells them a bit about his company and what they will be doing...one person will be fired from the losing team each week. The losing team, of course, being the ones who failed in the absurd challenges- they paired them up into an all male team and an all female team and their first challenge was to go out and panhandle, whoever got the most money won. Of course, they thought this was stupid...how can this stupid stunt teach us a thing about business and this guy's world?

The boss, played very well by some actor I doubt anyone has ever seen before, treats like badly, asks them stupid questions, and basically tries to make himself look like a fool, trying to pull them into the storyline the entire time. They all have bought it without doubt so far, because nothing was TOO over the top...tho, he did ask all the women about their love lives and if they had boyfriends, which they found to be quite odd.

I always enjoy faux "reality shows" (tho, the so-called reality shows are nothing but glorified game shows) where people think they're in a real situation, but actors are really playing them for the probable fools they are. Sorta like Joe Schmo but nowhere near as good...nothing could beat Joe Schmo 1.

Good show...I plan on watching it every week to see what happens. Also recording them all, so if anyone misses it and wants it when it's finished, e mail me.

NY Halts Sale of 9/11 Coin, PA Ave Reopened

I always see this commercial from National Collector's Mint and thought something had to be up...the NY state atty general has stopped the company from selling the coin and others, because of their deceptive claims.

Also, Mrs. Bush presided over a ceremony where they reopened Pennsylvania Ave in front of the White House to pedestrian traffic. No cars are allowed on the street still, and I take from the statements that this will be a permanent walkway and no more traffic will ever be allowed in this area. It was closed in 1995 after the Oklahoma City bombing.

This is What Passes as Music

I was flipping thru the channels, and on MTV Jams I see the destiny child chicks dressed in what looks like usher uniforms from some old movie theatre- some maroonish colored suits of some sort, and they're all writing around singing about wanting someone to make them say 'ohhh' and all sorts of other perverse nonsense, and I'm wondering- how on earth did music get so trashy and downright bad?

I hit rewind on the cable box, because I thought to myself- 'what the hell did Beyonce just say?' And, sure enough, she says something about putting (something sexual- a body part? I've no idea) down there so it's easy to get to and then she says something about the guy acting like he doesn't know what to do...so I looked up the lyrics, and the stuff below is what passes as music today in some circles.

Disgusting stuff if you ask me. Not to mention, I find it totally hypocritical that the one girl (Michelle) sings gospel music when not with the group, and acts all religious, yet she's talking about wanting a guy to make her say 'ohhh' to the beat of a groove or something. It's pathetic...

some of the lyrics from destiny child's new song (lose my breath- even the title is perverse when you see the context it's used in during the 'song'):

[Chorus]
Can you keep up?
Baby boy, make me lose my breath
Bring the noise, make me lose my breath
Hit me Hard, make me lose my (Hah Hah)
Can you keep up?
Baby boy, make me lose my breath
Bring the noise, make me lose my breath
Hit me Hard, make me lose my (Hah Hah)

[Beyonce]
OOOh
I put it right there, made it easy for you to get to
Now you wanna act like ya don't know what to do
After I done everything that you asked me
Grabbed you, grind you, liked you, tried you
Moved so fast baby now I can't find you

OOOh
I'm startin' to believe that I'm way too much for you
All that talk but it seems like it can't come through
All them lies like you could satisfy me,
Now I see where believing you got me
Gave you the wheel, but you can't drive me

Gave you the wheel, but you can't drive me??

How classy...the ever-popular Beyonce is so slutty, she compares herself to an automobile during sexual escapades.

Barbra Streisand's Insanity

Babra Streisband is insane. Yes, my friends, this much is quite clear just from reading the left wing whacko nonsense on her website.

The following is a list of 15 attacks on Bush made by Streisand on her website here.

I will take a bit of time to completely refute most of this. Most of it, because tearing apart all of it would take too much time, tho I can assure you it is all bunk, 100% of it.

I have only listed the items I deal with, leaving out those I didn't have time to rip apart...
--- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ---

IS THIS THE MAN YOU THINK WILL KEEP YOU SAFE? ...Barbra Streisand
Posted on October 26, 2004
IS THIS THE MAN YOU THINK WILL KEEP YOU SAFE?...

1. BUSH IGNORED THE ADVICE OF THE CLINTON ADMINISTRATION REGARDING THE URGENT THREAT OF AL QAEDA.

Pardon? You mean Clinton that presided over how many terrorist threats? 8? The man who did nothing but lob a few missiles over to hit some tents and bombed an aspirin factory in the Sudan? The Clinton administation is now the all-knowing geniuses on terrorism and alerted Bush? Come on, this is not just a stretch of logic, it's lunacy.

3. BUSH FAILED TO GET OVER 100,000 HOURS OF VALUABLE TERRORISM-RELATED TAPINGS TRANSLATED BY LINGUISTS AT THE F.B.I, A FULL 3 YEARS AFTER 9/11. IN FACT, JOHN ASHCROFT REFUSED TO ENDORSE FBI REQUESTS FOR $58 MILLION FOR NEW COUNTERTERRORISM FIELD AGENTS, TRANSLATORS AND INTELLIGENCE ANALYSTS.

Above this "statement" on her website, Babs goes on about how we're all screwed because Bush is running is deep into the red...tho, Bush spends no money (that would be Congress, but of course, in her mind, Bush gets all the blame.) Taking this fact (spending) into account, Babs wants to make it seem as tho we need to spend even more, so we can fully translate all tapings from the CIA? Silly logic here. Bush is now to be blamed for the work of the CIA as well, I see. Interesting concept. Bush must be the busiest man alive running every single agency of the federal govt like this!

4. BUSH HELD NO FACE TO FACE MEETINGS WITH HIS TERRORISM CHIEF RICHARD CLARK AND NEITHER DID DICK CHENEY WHO WAS HEAD OF THE TERRORISM TASK FORCE.

Oh, wow. Where to start with Mr. 'I wrote a book, please buy it' Clarke. This guy is a walking contradiction, not to mention one of the nuttiest officials around. Clarke claimed the following about Condi Rice in his book:

"as I briefed Rice on Al-Qaeda, her facial expression gave me the
impression she had never heard of the term before." Really?

Clarke says he could tell Rice didn't even know what Al-Qaeda was because of a "facial expression" he saw? Rice, the national security advisor to the president doesn't know that a terrorist group that has attacked US targets at least 8 different times before 9/11 even exists? That's laughable at best.

We know the oh-so-praise-worthy Clarke (praised by Streisand at least) must be a god when it comes to terrorism-related matters, because he can read minds via facial expressions. Too bad he was completely wrong (as if we need any evidence to figure that Rice knew of the group's existence).

Rice specifically talk about Al-Qaeda in a radio interview with WJR in Detroit on October 4, 2000. A full year before the terrorist attacks.

Clarke also praised Bush's efforts in the war on terror numerous times while he was still in his position. Clarke claims that he had to back up Bush and had to lie to the nation about Bush's job on terrorism, because that's what you do when you work with the White House. So, it's okay to lie because you work in a certain position? But, we're supposed to believe him now...now that he has a book out he's trying to sell?

Clarke praised the Bush administration in 2001, 2002, and in his resignation letter, yet when asked by (mainly) liberal reporters about the issue, Clarke constantly says Bush is a failure when dealing with terrorism.

Clarke, at one point, talked about how Bush demanded that we drastically change our approach in dealing with terrorism. Clarke says the following, talking about how Bush wanted to attack and roll the groups up, instead of just "swatting at flies" like the Clinton administration had for so long.

CLARKE:

"No, it came up in April and it was approved in principle and
then went through the summer. And you kn
