MSNBC's Donahue Show Claims Bush has no Evidence that Hussein has Weapons
"Can George Bush keep pressuring for regime change without proof?" MSNBC quote right before a break during the Donahue Show on December 9, 2002
Now, I wonder how anyone at Donahue or MSNBC in general can say that there is "no proof." I have seen a number of weapons experts, politicians, former weapons inspectors, etc. say that Saddam does indeed have weapons of mass destruction. The U.S. government claims to have evidence, but we have to understand, they can't let us know everything! What's next? Are we going to demand that the CIA give us all the details of their actions now? Maybe we can demand that the military give us every detail of their moves and actions. That's ridiculous. Everyone is demaning they gave us all the evidence, but if they did that, we would be in a great deal of trouble. Stuff is classified, intelligience can't just be given out to anyone and everyone! The truth is- there are many signs that point to the fact that Saddam DOES have weapons of mass destruction. Many people from a number of countries, from a number of specialities, democrats, republicans, independents...many people who are experts in this field claim he does have the weapons, so what are we supposed to do? Chance it? We should just let Hussein go free, and hope he doesn't make any weapons? Why does everyone refuse to believe anyone who says he does have weapons, but they automatically accept anyone who says he doesn't have weapons? Be fair...look at the facts...listen to the testimony of the experts- trust these people. Don't just take what they say blindly...research it, and take into account what all of them said as a whole...then decide where the facts lead us. Too many people are so set in their opinion, they will never let any facts in...The quote above is an example of how the media is trying to manipulate the facts. They imply Bush is demanding regime chance for no reason...he has no proof, they claim. Yet, there is proof, and many experts agree with that statement. Get back to the facts...stop the rhetoric.
