Journal Entries- October 2002

October 31, 2002 (Thursday) 12:45 A.M. CT.

The Halloween contest is over and the winner is...Rach from www.irach.com Congrats...There will be a new contest in November, and it will end on November 25. More details soon.

October 30, 2002 (Wednesday) 11:15 P.M. CT.

Thank you for proving my point, Chel. Look at the way she acts and talks...no wonder her teachers think she's stupid. I'm starting to think they might just be right! Enough said, kids...

October 28, 2002 (Monday) 1:00 P.M. CT.

Damn. I was gonna add some pics to the picture page but the camera won't work for some reason. I restarted and tried again, but no luck....I guess I'll check it after I go to the store.

October 28, 2002 (Monday) 11:15 A.M. CT.

Another scary kid and a group of morons (who are clearly on some heavy drugs, seeing as how they think their site is actually humorous)

October 28, 2002 (Monday) 10:55 A.M. CT.

Hey psychos- when you die, have fun burning in hell!

and...

The media once again jumps on story without the facts. They should have reported ONLY what they know FOR SURE...They actually should have waited on the story if you ask me, until they actually got SOME facts...when they went live with it, they had basically nothing besides the fact that there was a shooting. Irresponsibility is the key with the national news media it seems...

October 27, 2002 (Sunday) 8:25 A.M. CT.

More scary kids! I found this site linked on some other site. This girl is also 14...some of the objectionable material on her site- a link to a quiz asking 'what kind of porno would you star in' (right below the pic for the link that says 'bondage porno' and 'smack my bitch up'), she has nude pinup girl betty paige as the theme of her layout, a section called my bitches for the other kids she hosts (she hosts a girl who's button says "anus" with the ending url 'anuslicker.' Anuslicker has a counter of how many people are on her page which says "(number of people) smoking the cock," and her comments read "(number of people) molested sara." Here's an example of the filth on this site:

Last nite was crazy with Vet. We walked around our podunk ghetto neighborhood, a Marvin Hayden sign in hand, screaming "MARVIN HAYDEN, COUNTY BOARD!!" It was awesome. Then we pissed off Taylor and David, and they were mean to me because I'm not in highschool so I left. I, for a fact, know more people than they do in highschool, so they can suck my big fact artificial cock.

I want all of your huge boobies in my hands

(emphasis added)

Again...this is why kids are screwed up...

October 27, 2002 (Sunday) 8:05 A.M. CT.

Where on earth are this girl's parents? Sick...she's 14 and she has a pay site where you can view her cam and her cam archives. Not to mention that fact that I have checked her site a few times before and she is usually dressed somewhat slutty and wears ten pounds of makeup...her home site is here- http://kinkylicious.net - kinkylicious? You're 14, girl! This is near to child porn if you ask me...and I wonder where in the hell the parental supervision- I mean this girl clearly has severe problems. Oh, one more note...when you open her site, a new window for half naked cam girls pops up. Her site also includes links to sites such as sexy cam girls, teen cam girls, my pimps and hoes...and other such filth. If you will notice on all the sites she lists, you have underage girls and a few boys showing as much as they can without being naked...lewd messages on the cam images, nipples that are about to poke thru barely their skin tight shirts...these people that run these cam sites should be arrested. They wonder why kids are fucked up. It doesn't take a genius...

October 27, 2002 (Sunday) 7:10 A.M. CT.

Yesterday afternoon, I watched a program on PBS called Presumed Guilty: Tales of the Public Defenders. Really great film here...I wrote a review here.

Here are a few links you guys might enjoy...or then again, maybe you won't...

http://www.compulsiononline.com/coleman.htm - one of the only pages I found on this guy...i read a story online that said he went to a 10 year high school reunion and pretended to be someone who died 5 years before...sounds funny to me!

http://www.sideshowtoy.com/cgi-bin/category... - nice toys. i want one.

http://www.ew.com/ew/article/commentary/... - scary movies!

http://www.scifi.com/frightnight/ - I will be watching this all day Halloween!

http://dvdfile.com/software/review/dvd-video... - I still have yet to see this movie...I want to tho

http://www.gorezone.net - great horror site

October 26, 2002 (Saturday) 4:00 A.M. CT.

How sensitive of NBC's Tim Russert, in discussing today's death of Senator Paul Wellstone (along with his wife and one of his daughters), one of the first things he mentioned was how this would affect the balance of power in the Senate...good to see that class and good taste is totally dead!

October 24, 2002 (Thursday) 7:20 A.M. CT.

Who Am I? Who is this? Guess correctly and win a million bucks (ok not really)

October 23, 2002 (Wednesday) 10:00 P.M. CT.

is anyone else tired of the 'soup battles?' progresso comes out with the silly commercial that says campbells soup doesnt have much in it...no real meat and stuff...too thin. now campbells has commercials out that say people choose campbells 2 to 1 to progresso, and that campbells select has more meat ...the clam chowder starts with real clam broth or something. Does anyone really buy into this crap? Who thought of these silly, somewhat immature ads?

Speaking of silly commercials...anyone see the AARP commercial about social security and knowing where the candidates stand on it? Some pest control guy is in some woman's house and you hear buzzing under the floor, and the house seems to be moving...they go to the crawlspace under the house and she says the cat went in there a week ago and they haven't seen it since...a voice over says something about 'after working so hard to gain social security- knowi it'll be there for you' or something like that... Kinda silly. I don't understand why social security is so screwed up. Wait, I do...the idiots in Washington wasts trillions of dollars...

Media Screws Police Over in DC Sniper Case AGAIN

some guy on fox news talking to greta van susteren was asked 'what does persons of interest mean' - he said...it means if theyre watching this right now, they just think theyre not suspects and theyll get their guard down and the police can make an easier arrest and bring them in for questioning, when in reality theyre more than persons of interest. good job, moron...the media screws up the dc sniper investigation again!!

October 23, 2002 (Wednesday) 8:05 P.M. CT.

First, my short review of the horrendous ABC series, "The George Lopez Show"

I have watched one episode of this show, and I must say- awful. Lopez is just not funny...and the rest of the cast doesn't help much. I haven't heard one funny joke in this entire show. I also think they're trying to hard to push the whole latino image with this show...they want to make it full of 'latin cliches' it seems. I don't get ABC...can they put on anything good? And, why oh why can they not get a show that isn't made by Touchstone?! Disney's Touchstone has proven inept in producing anything decent for television...Disney (which owns ABC) needs to realize this.

This show is horrible, like most of ABC's stuff...check out NBC or CBS...heck the WB is starting to look good compared to ABC.

No wonder I have never in my life heard of George Lopez before this series...

And some thoughts:

I was thinking...I was in band in high school. I started in like 5th grade, but I moved to Florida and Georgia and back to Indiana, so I missed a lot of the stuff...so I was behind everyone else. Anyhow...I just realized I don't remember a thing. If you put music in front of me, I couldn't play it, I'm sure. I can play the drumset still...but concert stuff, I'd probably be totally lost. Sad, huh? I just thought of this when I was looking at easton ahead drumsticks online. Do they still makes those? They were aluminum sticks with nylon tips....I bet you didn't know nylon is hard as rock did ya? Me neither. I had the Tommy Lee series sticks...they're the longest of all the 'concert' sticks in the ahead series...maybe because he has a big schlong...so I hear. I don't wanna see it myself. They have marching sticks too, but who on earth would use aluminum marching sticks? Not me. Why are marching sticks so much thicker? I mean...if you play the set like a maniac, you'll break those shits too.

One more thing...Even tho My Wife and Kids is so corny and unfunny it's pretty much unwatchable- the wife, I forget her name...is pretty hot.

Probably another entry later....

October 22, 2002 (Tuesday) 3:20 P.M. CT.

Darth Pez!

darth pez

Did you know baby puppies cry? I was watching Animal Planet for like two seconds, and the little puppies were all crying, crawling around the mom. How cute is that? I didn't know.

October 22, 2002 (Tuesday) 11:00 A.M. CT.

Cool site here- http://www.overlawyered.com/ . This is why I hate lawyers and I can't stand most people. Check out the idiot with the eyebrow ring and the $2 million lawsuit. Funny, you sue for $2 million...golly, could it be that you're a fucking moron interested in stealing the company's money?! Gasp! No way! When I go to the store, I do not want to see people with metal sticking out of their body...I think most of the general population would agree.

Also...I like the idiot who sues the website trying to say it should be geared more toward the blind under the ADA (a totally ridiculous law for the most part, as I have stated in previous articles.) Blind people-- a tip...you cannot do all the things other people can. You have a DISability! DIS- as in...you do have all the abilities everyone else has! Get a clue, morons. Only blind people and others with disabilities who sue over nonsense are idiots, just to clarify. I will post a story about a kid whose parents sued because he wasn't allowed to play basketaball in his wheel chair, because it would be a danger to others (duh!) and it would drastically change the game (wow...a kid in a big wheelchair would change the game of basketball! no way!!)...these people need to get a clue and get out of the already fucked up legal system! Good riddens, dumbasses...

October 22, 2002 (Tuesday) 10:30 A.M. CT.

Check out the news- Boomtown has been given a full season order!

Here is today's Peanuts comic

October 22, 2002 (Tuesday) 10:00 A.M. CT.

Two things. First off, I found this site (audio books for free) where you can download free audio books. They have some decent books, I think, but the free downloads are mp3's recorded at 8 Mhz, which means the quality isn't very good. I'm sure some people can look past that for free book downloads. I downloaded 4, and only one (The Weatherman) is too hard for me to hear...I think. I checked out parts of it, and I think it might be too hard to hear overall.

Second, if anyone would like to buy this for me, I wouldn't turn it down...

I'm gonna rewatch all the Home Movies episodes from season 3...fun, huh? Later...

October 22, 2002 (Tuesday) 8:10 A.M. CT.

I've been watching Home Movies this morning. My damned space bar on my keyboard broke...the Gateway keyboards suck...the plastic piece that connects to the right side broke, so now I have to hit the very left end of the bar to get it to work. Anyhow...as I was saying. Home Movies- as in the animated series on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim...funny stuff. I always wonder how people can write this stuff and make it funny week after week. Too much for me. I don't think I could do it. They say 70% of the show is currently unscripted. That makes it even more mind boggling. I need to work more on my Home Movies site. I'm lazy.

Right before I woke up at like 6:20 or so (I think that was the time?)...I thought to myself. I'm going to pick up the remote and with my eyes half open, still half asleep...I am going to see it say Fox News Alert- another sniper shooting, and what do you know...I hit 62 and boom- Fox News Alert- new sniper shooting. I think it's funny how the Son of Sam is telling the sniper to stop killing. Ridiculous.

Check out this real audio clip here from A Prairie Home Companion. Drag the time to around 7 and a half minutes and listen to it...funny stuff if you ask me. I love APHC. I want to go to a taping of it someday. For some reason, I have an affinity for St. Paul, tho I have never been there.

I downloaded this post it notes software. It stays on top of everything and you can put notes all over your desktop. Cool for me, because I use real post it notes ALL the time, they're all over my desk....all different colors. I always buy them at the Dollar General Store...so I can get a pack of like 4 or 5 for a dollar. I'm cool like that.

H. Jon Benjamin is hilarious. He's Coach McGuirk and Jason on Home Movies and Ben Katz on Dr. Katz.

Check out this stuff from The O'Reilly Factor...Bill talked about an article written in the Washington Post. Penn and Harrelson are clueless...

October 21, 2002 (Monday) 10:00 A.M. CT.

You know. I have learned that sometimes you can't say what you want to. Sometimes you can't even do what you want to. You can't do what seems to be natural. Things are tough sometimes. Just had to share this little bit of information with you all.

October 21, 2002 (Monday) 9:40 A.M. CT.

This is fun

October 21, 2002 (Monday) 9:15 A.M. CT.

Examples of how the media makes is hurting the 'sniper' investigation

WRONG FACT: one network confirms the van stopped today was a chevy astro van
another network confirms it as a plymouth voyager

WRONG FACT: fox news said swat team surrounded a phone booth, yet it was a drive up phone without a booth

MAKING JUDGEMENT ON TOO LITTLE INFORMATION: fox news has the balls to claim that this MUST be the sniper

MAKING JUDGEMENT ON TOO LITTLE INFORMATION: fox news claims that since they were loading the van onto a flatbed truck, it must surely be the sniper

MAKING JUDGEMENT ON TOO LITTLE INFORMATION: fox news THEN started saying that it probably wasn't the sniper in custody (all within 5 minutes! that's a quick change!)

MAKING JUDGEMENT ON TOO LITTLE INFORMATION: fox news claims that the press conference was delayed because they must be in talks with the sniper at the moment and that a news conference would interrupt the conversation between police and the sniper

MAKING JUDGEMENT ON TOO LITTLE INFORMATION: fox news claims that the person in the white van who was arrested- if not the sniper, must be the accomplice or someone else involved

Just a few examples of why you should never take the media for their word without doing your own research and using common sense.

To the media, especially Fox News right now- do us all a favor and stop jumping to conclusions. It is stupid and it is irresponsible. For Fox News- do us a bigger favor and stop using Ted Williams on EVERYTHING!

October 21, 2002 (Monday) 4:40 A.M. CT.

First a comment:

ya ever notice how during a commercial break...the break between final commercial and return to show is much longer than between each commercial? thats how i always know the show is starting and not another commercial, so i know to hit record on the vcr again....is that on accident or on purpose? i wonder...

Well. Lately, I've been up and down a lot. My mood. Sleep helps sometimes...if I wake up and I feel nervous and depressed or either of the two alone, sleeping more helps sometimes. Sleeping messes with the chemicals in your brain on some level, so it makes sense. Also, staying up for very long periods of time do the same thing but to an even greater extent...kinda like a natural high.

Check this out. I got the newest issue of Computer Graphics World, and I noticed an article about the special effects used in creating the opening shots of Road To Perdition. I usually never even go thru this magazine, because it's usually got stuff about computer games and such. Anyhow, check out this from the article. How amazing it this. This would fun work.

computer graphics stuff...cool

Don't ask me what the black square is on the second one...I have no idea.

Well, since I haven't posted for a few days, I left out the Peanuts comics, so here is the last few days worth

they're drinking the blue site! golly!

Check out the fine ladies drinking up The Blue Site. Thanks to Lisa for this...

This entry is a work in progress, I guess...so I will surely write more to it soon....

Here is today's Peanuts comic

I'm mad. At lisa, that is. She wouldn't do a simple thing for me earlier tonight. I don't have a credit card, and I wanted to get a month subscription to cinemanow.com so I can watch all the nifty horror movies before Halloween. Anyhow, I know she has a card and money in her account. So, I asked her if she would pay for it online tonight and I would send her the money in the morning. I just really didn't wanna wait till Monday to do it, seeing as how if I sent it out tomorrow, it wouldn't go out until the next day (I worked at the post office, even if it was only for one night, so I know..) Anyhow, she said no...didn't really give me much of a reason. She said send the money first then I'll do it. She did mention I was just doing it that way so I could get out of sending the money...which means- she doesn't trust me. She thinks I'm gonna use her for $9.95 then stiff her and not send her the cash. How nice, huh? I was upset, and I think I have a right to be. I don't see what the big deal of doing such a small thing for me was. She then started saying something about me being responsible or something to that effect, saying I need to learn how to pay my bills and stuff basically, and that I'm bad with money and this and that...that's not what she said, but that's what she meant by what she said...I know her, so trust me. Something she clearly can't do with me :( Am I insane here or what? Because, I don't think I was asking for that big of a favor, and I don't think it was necessary to say that I wouldn't send the money if she did it that way...I think I'm sane...but who knows.

October 14, 2002 (Monday) 12:15 A.M. CT.

I was watching a bit of the Anna Nicole Show on E! (how this crap is still on, I have no idea), and she is talking about she won't go on Howard Stern, because he said bad things about her late husband. Anna, hon...we all know you married the old bag to get at his money...do you think we're all that blind? Get a clue. This woman is just a complete embarassment...

This is for my favorite person in the world.

October 13, 2002 (Sunday) 1:20 P.M. CT.

Here is the Halloween links page. It's ugly for now, I will make it all pretty like later. I need sleep...

October 13, 2002 (Sunday) 12:45 P.M. CT.

More Halloween stuff today. I will be making a Halloween page with all the various links and stuff later this afternoon or tonight sometime..

Here is the information about the Prairie Home Companion Halloween show. You can go to the the site and find what local station it airs on.

October 26 Live from the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, Minnesota, it's our Harvest Show with Stephanie Davis and guests TBA.

Haunted Travels Week starts on - oct 28 on The Travel Channel...

I saw a special yesterday on The Travel Channel where they showed various locations from horror movies (blair witch, halloween, the exorcist, and more.) I will take some pictures from the show and post them here today sometime. It was pretty cool seeing the Halloween stuff...one of my favorite horror movies ever. I still don't know how they moved the Myer's house across the street and down the road...

I started watching this movie called The Tao Of Steve (or maybe it's just called Tao Of Steve)...I had wanted to see it before, and I watched about half of it, but I had to sleep. I need to catch it next time it's on. The guy kept smoking pot, which bugged me, so maybe I won't...

Lisa went to sleep. I was going to, but dad went to McDonalds and asked if I wanted anything, so I ate...then I decided to finish this entry. I'll probably sleep soon. Then again, who knows.

Here are a few Halloween related links (thanks to Lisa for passing along the first three) -

Knott's Scary Farm
Terrors of the Deep at Sea World
Six Flags Fright Fest
Paramount King's Island Fearfest
Cedar Point's Halloweekends
World's of Fun Halloweekends
Camp Snoop's Camp Spooky
Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream
Haunted Graveyard at Lake Compounce
Ghostly Gardens at Cypress Gardens
A Tour Of Southern Ghosts at Stone Mountain, GA
Tower of the Towers at Alton Towers in the UK
Halloween in Hershey at Hershey Park
Scarowinds at Carowinds in N. Carolina

One weird thing I noticed about the theme parks in this country...so many of them use the Peanuts characters in their park. I saw them on the Knott's Berry Farm site, the Cedar Point site, the Worlds of Fun site, and other ones too. Makes sense tho...I just looked, and they're all owned by the same company. Interesting...

Speaking of theme parks...I wanna go to Discovery Cove. I wanna swim with dolphins!

and a rant (sorta):

PUSH NEVADA
Well, Push, Nevada has been cancelled, if you haven't already heard. It couldn't stand up next to NBC and CBS...ABC is never going to make it against the two bigger and better networks. They can keep trying, but they're going to keep failing. I think people in general look at ABC and see a third class network...I surely look at them in that light. I mean, if two similar shows were starting on ABC and one of the other two (CBS and NBC), I'd definitely watch the CBS or NBC series. I'm sure I'm not alone. Sad for them. Anyhow, they will stop the show 5 episodes early, but they'll pack enough clues into the last 2 episodes aired to solve the puzzle and still award the $1, 045, 000. Too bad we'll never get to see the ending! ABC made a bad here, they axed Push and the new series That Was Then. What network executives need to learn is this - tv shows need time to prosper. There are rarely shows that are big hits right away. Seinfeld is a good example...I hated the show myself, with the unfunny cast and plotlines, but it made NBC a ton of money- it did horrible when it started. It become one of the biggest shows in history. Freaks and Geeks is another favorite example of mine...a series which I love, and consider to be one of the best shows ever...the critics loved it for the most part, fans collected money thru the web and took out a full page ad in Variety to try to save the show, Matt Roush of TV Guide called NBC's head of programming one of the biggest losers of the year for getting rid of the show...networks will probably never learn. You can't give a series a 3 or 4 week airing, then axe it...especially if it's up against some of the top rated show, as with Push. One day I'll start my own network and we can have some decent tv...

October 12, 2002 (Saturday) 2:10 A.M. CT.

On a lighter note...I laughed, I cried (but all in reverse order!) I stole this link from Ryan.

October 12, 2002 (Saturday) 1:40 A.M. CT.

Check it out. http://www.lovejunkie.net/~fuck/about.htm. I love how these morons use the fear based definition of homophobia. Phobia itself means an IRRATIONAL FEAR, yet they, as many in the gay community try to do...say homophobia is not only irrational fear of the lifestyle or people who practice that lifestyle, but- they also say homophobia is also the following:

homophobia
Irrational fear of, aversion to, or discrimination against homosexuality or homosexuals.
(Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, 10th ed., 1993)

the bold words ARE NOT part of homophobia. Why does Merriam- Webster's use this false definition? They're scared. Like everyone else, they're scared of backlash. They're scared of being labeled biggots...so they appease the homosexual community by adding the nonsense that is not part of the word scientifically.

As we can see here...the clear definion of "phobia" is:

Main Entry: pho·bia
Pronunciation: 'fO-bE-&
Function: noun
Etymology: -phobia
Date: 1786
: an exaggerated usually inexplicable and illogical fear of a particular object, class of objects, or situation

source:
Merriam-Webster's Dictionary

And...as we can also see...the clear definition of "homosexual" is:

Main Entry: homosexual
Function: noun
Date: 1902
: a homosexual person and especially a male

source:
Merriam-Webster's Dictionary

What do you get when you put the two together? An exaggerated usually inexplicable and illogical fear of a homosexual (gay) person, especially a male.

NOW...the dilemma. Same company, same dictionary, yet- they conveniently add extra stuff to the definition that is clearly not supposed to be there, and clearly has nothing to do with the word itself or the actions the word conveys. Disliking, disagreeing, even being disgusted by homosexuality is NOT homophobia. If you have any of the three listed qualities or any number of others in regards to homosexuality, you are NOT a homophobe or a biggot...you are not a bad person. You are- normal. Homosexuality is a lifestyle that is abnormal, defies all that is natural, it is clearly not the way things were meant to be. You can see the evidence that homosexuals are for the most part much more promiscuous than heterosexuals...(this is why most clinics will not allow homosexual or bisexual persons to donate blood, because they live BY DEFINITION an "unhealthy, high risk" lifestyle. If you do your research, you will see that in the U.S. HIV is almost always a homosexual disease still. Very few heterosexuals who are not IV drug users in the general population are infected with the virus. I mention the medical side of things, because- again...it is another reason someone might have to disagree with the lifestyle. It is dangerous, it is causing numerous problems- it is the root cause of a worldwide epidemic! The fact is- like it or not...homophobia is rare. I have yet to meet one person who has an irrational fear of homosexuals. The gay community has put their dirty paws on this word and changed the meaning...they do this all the time. It's ridiculous to pander to such a small minority of the world's population. Stop being scared. Dislike homosexuality if you want, there is nothing wrong with it. It is clearly not natures way (it is abnormal), so why do people who disagree with the lifestyle get attacked for not accepting people who live abnormally? It's insane. Stop being scared, and get rid of the political correct shit. Thank you, the 9 o' clock show will be the same as this one...

Here is today's Peanuts comic

October 11, 2002 (Friday) 4:40 P.M. CT.

Ok. I saw some girl on Oprah when I walked thru the living room. Today's show is all about "geniuses" as Oprah calls them. Only one of the kids is an actual genius. Anyhow, this 12 year old girl started her own magazine called...get this- Black Girl Magazine. Why should we applaud her? Am I the only one with a brain here who sees that calling a magazine Black Girl Magazine is racist? I'm so sick of the portion of the black community that thinks they can get away with stuff like this. If someone founded White Girl Magazine, all the racially obsessed idiots would be protesting in the streets. No one would advertise in the magazine for fear of being labeled racist, it would eventually fold. BUT- found Black Girl Magazine and whites and blacks alike advertise in it, just so they can all show that they're not racist! See! I'm not racist, I advertise in Black Girl Magazine! I bet many of them advertise out of fear...I can see Jesse Jackson on tv now urging blacks to boycott Kraft because they declined to place an ad in the magazine (magazines now are ridiculous anyhow...ALL they are is advertisements!) I just think this is silly. It's racism that is never labeled racism out of fear. Well, I'm not afraid to call it what it is, and I'm sick and tired of seeing it.

Aside from the racist overtone the name holds...that magazine cannot possibly make it. Why? She alienated the majority of the U.S. population from ever picking it up in the first place...never a good business move.

October 11, 2002 (Friday) 3:00 P.M. CT.

I had a dream that I was sitting at home (but it wasn't home) and Lynne Koplitz showed up at my house and wanted me to be on a game show that would be taped right there. It was sorta the Door Knock Dinners of game shows. Anyhow, I went to my room, but I couldn't find anything to wear, so I had to be on the show on some embarassing outfit. That's that

I was watching E! for like two seconds and I saw that Saturday Night Live was on (this show is on E!, NBC, AND Comedy Central- I cannot stand it, it's not funny!)...and David Bowie was on as the musical guest. I watched him for 10 seconds, and I'm asking myself- how is this guy with a bad voice and scary looking teeth who is wearing a dress and has gay music popular? I don't get it. Then again...most popular music sucks, so I guess it isn't too abnormal.

That guy that hosts Street Smarts is cool. He's funny, and he's kinda geeky, but nice at the same time. Nifty.

October 11, 2002 (Friday) 2:20 P.M. CT.

To point at a couple of mistakes in the article Lisa linked to about Spongebob.

Article excerpt:

SpongeBob ranks among the most popular shows on cable, sometimes scoring upwards of 40 of the top 100 spots in the Nielsens. Despite the fact that its target viewers are toddlers two to 11, 22 percent of the show's regular audience is in the 18 to 49 range, according to Nielsen Media Research, making it the most-watched show among adults on the cable network. (The Viacom-owned Nickelodeon runs SpongeBob several times daily, often as late as 11:30 p.m., while sister channel MTV airs it at 11:00 p.m.)

First off, Spongebob never airs later than 7:30 P.M. central time. Second- MTV has never aired Spongebob as far as I know. That bugs me. It also bugs me that fags can't keep their perverse hands off of anything.

Here is today's Peanuts comic

I will write more later tonight...

Aguilera too Dirrty for TV
World Entertainment News Network

It's official - raunchy pop minx CHRISTINA AGUILERA is too rude to be shown on primetime television.

Bosses at Britain's CHANNEL FOUR have ruled the American starlet's video for her comeback single DIRRTY is too saucy to be broadcast before the 9pm watershed.

In the promo, the GENIE IN A BOTTLE hitmaker squeezes her tiny frame into hotpants and performs an explicit crotch-thrusting dance, meaning British fans will have to wait till 12.10am to watch Christina in action.

A TV insider remarks, "It's just too dirty."

October 9, 2002 (Wednesday) 10:30 P.M. CT.

So. I went to take the dog out, and right as I step outside a kitty cat jumps up from the porch and attacks me. Ok, I'm lying. She just ran up to me and I caught her sorta. I had to get the dog inside real quick like 'cause he was gonna run after it, and I didn't have the leash on him or anything. I got the dog inside, and then I was playing with the cat sitting in the driveway. My mom looked out and said get that cut away from here, I hate cats. They carry disease (which I cannot say they do not with 100% certainty, but I'm pretty sure that isn't true.) Anyhow, I was playing with it for a bit then I went in, got the dog, took him outside, took the recycling out and the trash...then I played with it some more. Now my eye itches like crazy! Agh! That happens everytime! Ouchie... It sucks, because I like cats well enough, especially kittens, but I guess it was never meant to be...

October 9, 2002 (Wednesday) 9:30 P.M. CT.

I made a new yahoo group for the Fox series, Fastlane here. Check it out. I also made a yahoo group for two other shows: Hack on CBS, and CSI: Miami. I will probably end up making more groups for tv shows, but who knows when...Oh wait, if you like the Cartoon Network Adult Swim animated series Home Movies, check out this club I made.

October 9, 2002 (Wednesday) 8:00 P.M. CT.

I just finished watching one of the funniest episodes of The Chris Isaak Show I have ever seen. That show is usually hilarious in general, but this episode had to be one of the best in my opinion. Chris and band (and Yola) are stranded in the middle of nowhere Nebraska when the small plane they are in crash lands. They are stuck in the home of some nice "country people" as Chris calls them, who are...a bit odd, to say the least. The closest airport is 300 miles away, as is the closest town, the woman tells them. She and her family will be happy to host them...they can stay the night at the farmhouse. Well, I won't such much else about the plot, besides the fact that they're all convinced that these people are weirdos who want to cook them and eat them...Rowland even mentions Texas Chainsaw Massacre...and how it was based loosely on Ed Gein who collected body parts in Wisconsion to build a woman, because he missed his dead mother. It was a great episode, too bad I forgot to tape it! Ugh. (silent 'g' people!)....

I am starving. I haven't eaten anything all day. Wait. I had one piece of toast. Now, there's nothing to eat in the house, and no one is cooking, and I have no money. Great. I guess I will eat the dog's food if I'm forced into doing so...can't be too bad, he seems to like it a lot. The dog, that is...

and now for a rant:

I have a word of advice to the writers of Boston Public. TOO MUCH DRAMA! Okay, so it's tv...it's mainly a drama (or is it?), but come on. The season premiere looks ridiculous. A student walkout that clearly turns into a sort of riot. We have seen too many episodes of this show where there is just too much drama. For a show about high school to be good, it must be somewhat realistic..Boston Public is not. There is more drama in this high school than in the entire city of...say, Vegas...Hollywood. It's silly and very overdone. Take Freaks and Geeks for example- it worked because it was real. That's why, when it is looked back upon, people will say- that was one of the most realistic portrayals of high school in all of television. Sure, Freaks and Geeks was cancelled...but...not because it was bad. It was a diamond! Matt Roush of TV Guide called NBC's head of programming one of the biggest losers of the year for letting Freaks go. The show was never on more than 3 weeks at a time. They dropped it from the lineup to air reruns of the awful Dateline NBC (someday, they will show this drivel 7 days a week!)...then they changed it's time slot, then they dropped it again, then they changed it's slot again...then they wanted to cancel it, then they said wait- let's see. Then there was a hiatus. Then it was gone. NBC screwed the creators and writers of Freaks and Geeks. The show was brilliant and hilarious...NBC is the reason the show was canned.

Okay, I went off subject there for a bit...but back to Boston Public. This used to be a very good show. But, it's turning laughable. Even the previews are silly. Lay off all the drama. High school is NOT that dramatic, and after a while it gets tiresome.

More halloween stuff tonight....

October 9, 2002 (Wednesday) 2:50 P.M. CT.

Two things to make note of. First off, Monk is a USA series and the reruns air on ABC. I thought it was the other way around. I saw it on some website, and now I totally remember it's USA's show. Secondly, the 'Peanuts Halloween Special' as I have been calling it is actually titled "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown." I still cannot find it on the schedule anywhere, but I am pretty sure it is airing somewhere, sometime, someday! Agh.

Know what else? I seriously do not get either one of those Peanuts comics I posted!

October 9, 2002 (Wednesday) 2:00 A.M. CT.

Since it's near Halloween, and the Peanuts Halloween Special is drawing near, I thought I would add a Peanuts Comic every day. Here's the first one

By the way. I still have no idea when the Peanuts Halloween Special airs. If you know, e mail me!

Also...starting October 20 is Sweets and Treats week on Food Network. They will be showing lots of stuff...related to...well, sweets and treats of course. Find more here.

October 8, 2002 (Tuesday) 7:15 P.M. CT.

And here is the Sumi Das pictures. Lisa think's her mouth is funny...I don't agree...

October 8, 2002 (Tuesday) 5:00 P.M. CT.

As promised...

You can go here to find the full October schedule for AMC. Some of the highlights: Halloween: Backstory, Halloween 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein, Fright Night, Frankenstein, The Bride of Frankenstein, and many more.

Turner Classic Movies is showing some horror stuff too. Not as much, I don't guess...and they're not hyping it on their site that big or anything, but you can go here to find out a bit more.

Cartoon Network will be showing new episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog and scooby doo movies every Friday...they're calling it Scaretoon Scaretoon Fright Days (a Halloween take on the usual Cartoon Cartoon Fridays.) Find out more about their schedule here. They also have links to a cool thing UNICEF is doing where you can collect spare change when you trick or treat to help out their cause.

I heard news that Nickelodeon would be airing old episodes of Are You Afraid of the Dark the week leading up to Halloween, every night at 6 PM. I have to check into that to see if they actually are doing so. According to this, it will indeed air. I also saw news of a new show called Scaredy Camp on Nick the week before Halloween. Check out Nick's schedule here. Nick also has a special section of their site- the fright site with games and trivia and stuff. Nick is also having the regular contests for kids leading up to Halloween.

HGTV had some ad that said something about halloween related design stuff, and I think their site has ideas for decorations and such. I will try to find out more

History Channel is showing halloween related stuff all day Halloween. They will be showing my favorite Halloween documentary, the Haunted History of Halloween, hosted by Harry Smith. This is a really great show. You can get their schedule for Halloween here.

And, my very own question of the day (for today atleast)...what is your favorite horror movie?

October 8, 2002 (Tuesday) 5:40 A.M. CT.

Just a note. Lisa also thinks this guy is sexy. Yes, I'm gonna be sick too.

October 8, 2002 (Tuesday) 5:40 A.M. CT.

Okay, I forgot to add the October horror movie schedule. I will do that sometime today. Plus, I will be adding a Sumi Das page later today as well. I got a few more pics of her from a recent episode of Fresh Gear, so I can do that. Also...my Rocket Power page (cartoon on Nick) coming soon.

October 8, 2002 (Tuesday) 4:00 A.M. CT.

I just wanted to take a second or two to talk about my lovely girlfriend Lisa. Since, I don't think I talk about her as much as I should. I love her a lot. I want to be with her. I need to be with her. My heart hurts a lot right now, because we're not together. :( see? I want to be able to see her in person, and to be able to hug her and kiss her. If you've seen any of her pics, you'd know why. She's adorable! She is. I hope I never lose her. Truly.

October 8, 2002 (Tuesday) 3:00 A.M. CT.

Britney is at it again. Her "handlers" say she is going to be more overtly sexual next time around. Is that even possible? full story here

October 7, 2002 (Monday) 5:40 A.M. CT.

Well would ya look at this? The tin man from the wizard of oz is a psychotic serial killer! Who knew?! if you go to film video clips from here, it'll take you the filmmakers yahoo briefcase. Download the Evil On Queen Street trailer and check it out. Crazy stuff.

Speaking of crazy...the October horror movie schedule is insanely packed. Come back later today for listings from various networks including sci fi channel, abc family, turner classic movies, amc, and more...

October 7, 2002 (Monday) 4:00 A.M. CT.

Hey guys! Found a few more links. Well...I didn't really find. I have been to them before, but they have cool halloween related stuff on them, so I wanted to post them. I will add even more later.

http://www.amctv.com/ - The Official Site for American Movie Classics

http://www.halloweenmovies.com

http://www.fangoria.com

October 6, 2002 (Sunday) 4:30 A.M. CT.

Well. I am very tired, so I guess I won't post the halloween related links just yet. I have this one tho. I'd like to go. We keep getting calls on the answering machine saying- disney world and other parks in Orlando, hotel, etc. for $99...good deal, but you have to get down there yourself. I need a vacation. A real one. more halloween stuff later.

I must reply to one thing tho. Someone (I have no idea who they are, but found the site thru my tracking) posted my article about Bush and the UN and such on his site and basically called me an idiot.

First off, he tries to blame Christianity for Hitler and the holocaust, which is either a bad attempt at a lie, insanity, or total ignorance of history. I'm not sure how anyone could relate Hitler to Christianity, but okay. This alone should tell you that this guy is clearly not oozing wisdom or anything.

To go a bit further...you cannot compare what Islamic nuts have done compared to what Christians have done. Many Christians throughout history have been misguided. The crusades, the inquisition, the treatment of native americans...all bad things, but they weren't rooted in evil, or hatred, or insanity. They were just what I called them...misguided. I don't see any comparison. No group of people is perfect, but when you compare the two records...Christianity clearly wins when it comes to peace and civility.

As for U.S. hypocrisy...I was the one who stated that there is too much of that, so that's a moot point. Even tho, as they say, hindsight is 20/20. When we backed bin laden...when we helped the Afghani's fight the Russians...we didn't know what we know now. Sure, we know some of it...but not to the extent we do now. The fact is, you have to deal with scumbags to beat bigger scumbags. For the most part, the United States has fought the good war...for the good guys. War is war...sometimes you have to fight along side the bad guys to win for the good in the end. Anyone who wants to bash American military politics needs to wake up...everyone does what we do...winning any war (war IS necessary in this world) depends on it. The only argument you can make concerning our military policies in the region in the 80's is the fact that after the Russians were beaten, we should have accounted for the weapons...especially the land to air over the shoulder missile launchers which were used by the Taliban and Al Queda.

Concering the U.S. breaking UN conventions to bomb a country that is breaking UN conventions...that's silly. You have to pick and choose your battles. You have to prioritize. Dealing with the ever slow UN and it's often ridiculous policies is something that can't always be done. As for the UN, we created it, we basically run it (let's be honest)...we don't need the support of all the members or the 5 permanent members themselves. UN "laws" are broken all the time. It's silly to let any dictator threaten his neighbors, the world, his own people while the UN sits back and does nothing for another decade. Maybe we can wait 20 or 30 years, then we'll take action that should have taken place 10 years ago. War isn't pretty, and it's not always fought by the rules. It's rather ironic as it is. We have to follow a law to go in and bomb and kill? Not quite. Most of it is for show...most of it is played out so we don't lose vital support (semi support would be a better word) of oil rich countries that we depend on. For, yes, their oil...and for basic stability in the regiom. If the US agenda (which includes protecting US lives) is more important than that of the UN, so be it.

Now...finally, as for Israel destroying homes. Israel has given land back to the Palestinians...land they didn't deserve. Land that has been show to historically belong to the Jewish people of the world. Land that was won in a war. They have every right to fight terror...they have every right to defend themselves. They may not be perfect, and they have done bad things too, but you cannot compare their actions to those of the Palestinians people and their leaders. That's just plain silly.

October 5, 2002 (Saturday) 10:00 P.M. CT.

One rare instance where advertising isn't a big waste of money and time. And, no- I'm not talking about annoying William Shatner and the gay Priceline.com commercials. I was all ready to go to Wendy's earlier, but a commercial came on for Burger King's new value menu...which I didn't even think of...but it remined me, so I went there. I got 2 tacos, chicken tenders, and 2 big cookies for only $3.15. The tacos are good, tho I don't care much for the bags they come in. The stuff was all falling out of the taco, and it's impossible to fit your hand in the tiny bag. I think I have a Wendy's replacement! Woohoo.

I missed taping today's episode of Monk on USA...the earthquake one. I also missed taping it the other night on ABC. That sucks. I have one episode I have yet to see on tape tho. I will watch it someday. I missed Robbery Homicide too, but I taped it. Hack was good. As you can tell from my review (if you read it.)

Wow! I just got e mail (spam) with the subject "your naked sister." I don't even have a sister! Tho, I wish I did. And...if I did, I'm sure I would have tried to see her naked by now. Is that wrong? Oh well....a few Halloween related links coming later tonight/tomorrow morning.

President Bush Has Lost It

Yes, that's what I said. President Bush has lost it. He has officially lost his mind. News reports say he will address the country in a big speech Monday night. The subject? Iraq. Since Bush has proven he has no idea what he's doing in the White House (the economy is getting even worse, health care is in the shitter, and people are desparate for help)- he is sticking to his war war war rant. I have nothing against war. I'm not a peace loving hippy who would protest outside of the White House or Capitol. BUT- focusing nearly all of our attention in Iraq when WE let them slide for over a decade is stupid. I have said it before, I will say it again- this policy is ludicrous. Agreed, we need to say to hell with the useless U.N. and take out Saddam...but, we need to concentrate on other problem areas as well (say China, the HUGE country that would totally kill all of us in a war, and oh maybe the murdering Palestinans- who Bush wants to help establish a home state for!) We need to stop the hypocrisy. We call Saddam a killer, yet we let Arafat, who is just as big a murderer (just with less weapons) slide...we even say we want to help him establish a state where he and his "people" can live side by side with Israel. We see these murders marching thru the streets- chanting...wearing head bands that say "future martyr." Yeah, idiots...wake up, Islam is a sham. Jerry Falwell was right when he called Mohammed evil...why? Because he was! He preached violence...he stole half of his teachings from Jesus Christ who came much earlier. These people need to be dealt with. We pretend we're behind Israel, yet we let the Palestinians and their head killer screw up everything. They are tearing the Middle East apart...with the help of nearly every other country in the region. We need to deal with Islam. The war IS against Islam. Bush may try to pretend it isn't...but let's get real...Islam in itself is the biggest threat to the world right now. We have to deal with it and the millions of maniacal followers that proclaim it as truth.

October 5, 2002 (Saturday) 1:40 A.M. CT.

I have added my review for the series "Hack" on CBS here

October 4, 2002 (Friday) 2:15 P.M. CT.

This is funny! Has anyone seen this guy? He is one of the dorkiest looking guys (with an equally geeky personality to match) in Hollywood. This guy clearly has no grasp on reality, considering, he will never have a Hollywood career. I would place money on that fact.

From People Online Daily:

DEPARTED: "American Idol" co-host and sometimes Coca-Cola pitchman Brian Dunkleman will not join Ryan Seacrest for a second season of the hit Fox show, Variety reports. In a statement Thursday, Dunkleman said: "I have decided not to return for season two in order to pursue other opportunities in the world of TV and feature films." Seacrest recently signed a six-figure deal for a second season of "Idol," while judge Simon Cowell is also due to come back.

October 4, 2002 (Friday) 2:05 P.M. CT.

Drats. I thought the crispy chicken was on sale for a dollar at McDonalds like the big and tasty thing. I know the commercial said chicken too! Oh well. I just ate. I drove to one McDonalds, but the drive thru was packed with like a thousand cars...so I went to to Wendy's to pick up the potato they screwed up yesterday. Instead of brocoli and cheese, they gave me bacon and cheese...which for Wendy's meant- bits of chewy fat and cheese. Icky. I went by there, then drove to another McDonalds and got my crispy chicken there. On the way to the first one, I saw some house that had all this halloween stuff outside. They had big pieces of wood or something set up to look like grave markers, and one said 'here lies Michael Myers.' Funny. I wonder if they're fans of the movie or just know the name and decided to put it on there, because they knew a lot of people would recognize it. I was thinking, if I wasn't so shy, I would knock on the door and ask if I could get a picture of their house for the website here. Just an excuse to talk to someone new, and to talk about Halloween...and, well to practice. I need practice.

I hope there is a new As Told By Giner this Halloween...hopefully a good halloween episode. AMC is playing the Halloween Backstory...which is supposed to have all sorts of new behind the scenes stuff. After that, they're having a Halloween marathon. Last I checked, atleast. I hope it's still on the schedule.

October 3, 2002 (Thursday) 10:40 P.M. CT.

I'm still depressed that Rendezview was cancelled. And, when the hell does Blind Date come on for me?! It used to come on one of the WB affiliates twice in the morning, now it doesn't come on at all as far as I can tell. They replaced it with Caroline Rhea Show, I believe. How stupid is that?

I hate when people refer to themselves in the third person on their sites.

Tomorrow night is Hack and Robbery Homicide. Woohoo...

October 3, 2002 (Thursday) 8:20 P.M. CT.

I kept hearing all day yesterday about this billionaire guy named Annenberg who died...how he was such a great man, and how he gave hundreds of millions of dollars away to various groups. I was guessing that he's the guy who started the Annenberg/ CPB (Corporation for Public Broadcasting) Project, and I was right. What I didn't know was the man who all the news channels touted as a hero of the people had a fortune inherited from his crooked father, and it was built on crime. He clearly wasn't the great man the media wanted us to think he was. I found this story from Slate on MSN. Great story, hilarious title. Ballsy. I like it.

I watched Monk. Better episode than the other one I saw. I like that show a lot. That guy is endearing. I started to watch Push, Nevada after that, but you know what? I don't think I like it that much. I have only seen the first episode so far, have two others on tape- of which I saw parts of. It's too weird. I don't think the ratings will be too high overall when the season is over. Many compare it to Twin Peaks..what's that guy's name- David Lynch? Overrated, he is. He thinks you can make freaky stuff that makes no sense and call it good television/film. You cannot.

I started watching CSI too, but in reality, I don't like that show that much either. It seems every single episode is the same thing...same story, same characters, same weird shots of Vegas at night...I don't care for it. Weird, that my biggest group of pages is about csi. Oh well.

October 2, 2002 (Wednesday) 7:45 P.M. CT.

Anyone remember Aimster? It was kinda like Napster, but it didn't work worth shit, and it messed up all the time? Well...I guess it's still out there, but now it's called Madster. I was reading a story on internet radio at techtv.com and I got to another story about Aimster (a story from 2000 actually.) Well..I got to their main site thru that story, and I found this 17 year old girl's site. The daughter of the creator of the software. Anyone remember the girl who looked almost slutty on the aimster software and website? It was clear someone put her on there to sell sex. I remember it now after I saw her picture. Check this out. These pictures are clearly made to make her look sexy and all, and it's using her to sell the product. I'm sure few would disagree with that.

the "aimster" girl Now, I also found her actual page on that last link. here

I find it rather disgusting to learn that it was her dad who had the idea to pose her all semi nude and sexy like on the software. I love how her dad starts software that is used to steal stuff, yet she tries to claim on her site that she is for freedom and all. Too bad she's a naive little girl who is clearly brainwashed by her dimwitted father.

October 2, 2002 (Wednesday) 5:55 P.M. CT.

This post on this girl's site is in reference to me saying I bet her parents are proud of her. She is 16 years old, yet she talks about sex, doing drugs, drinking, watching pornography, skipping school, and more. I would say that is something a parent would not be proud of, and I think it's a valid opinion given the situation. But, she posted this, and she attacked me on her site. I just think it's funny. She even has a survey on her site now that asks about drug use, and she mentions pot, meth, x, coke, acid, and other such drugs. Again...proud parents, I'm sure...

by the way. look at her site URL, and her site used to say nudelog at the top...AND...she links to a guy with a site called twattitude.

WEDNNESDAY SEPTEMBER 18 2002 9:32PM

my actions or my brains. most would say one has to do something with the other. but any way or another, I don't die my hair green, I don't yell at my parents because they told me to take out the trash, I yell at my dad sometimes but that's because my personal flaw is that i'm a bull and he's a horse-person and our fights can go on like mad just for the hell of it but tomorrow is always a smile. I wash the dishes, I do my work, I don't pester for money, I eat broccoli and I get good grades. Smoking is a bad habit. I rarely ever drink but my friend's house lacked much food so sue me. and everyone screws, you homo. and plus I just talk about my lack thereof, so where's the big point in your much thought out insult. never seen a back before? and the placement of my tattoo cannot have caused that much of a penial leak for you to complain like a wussy little princess. if you want attention, just tell me. I'm allowed to do what I do because I do it on my own space. if it hurts your pansy feelings, do yourself a favour and spare yourself the few minutes you stop by here everyday to read up on me because your intent isn't as inconspicuous as you think.

on another note, j'ai un composition du francais pour demain. Je n'a pas le fait encore. and I have a test for english. fudge.

I got a book from my wishlist today :-D RAWK ON. thanks :-)

October 1, 2002 (Tuesday) 9:05 P.M. CT.

"I need that (moan/sigh) to get me off...sweating till my clothes come off." The whore, Christina Aguilera from her new single "Dirrty"

Hmm...the single is called Dirrty (nice spelling by the way) and the cd is called Stripped. How lovely. She just alienated her entire 14 yr old female fan base! Good job, dumbass...now, go get some more nipple piercings and fade into career oblivion...

October 1, 2002 (Tuesday) 8:45 P.M. CT.

testing new comments...hopefully these are faster! and better...

October 1, 2002 (Tuesday) 6:35 P.M. CT.

LOL. I found this site off a link from another site, and check this girl out. She's mad! She thinks it's illegal to copy someone's layout. Now THAT is funny. There is no such legality involved with copying someone's layout. It's not very original, but you're surely not breaking any laws! I love people who have their little dinky websites, and then want to protect it so badly that they claim legal infringement if someone else uses it. Get over it!

Miss America says she was bullied in 9th grade. She actually says everyone in her school got together and planned to pool their money together to buy a rifle and shoot her...she was a victim of severe racial and sexual harassment. All of this took place at a private school. I, personally, think she is full of shit. I saw her just now on The Wayne Brady Show, and I saw her the other night on O'Reilly, I believe. I think she is making all of this up...but who knows. She bugs me. Actually, all of these girls who make all girls look bad bug me. Miss America is ridiculous. These women claim to be smart independent women who are rated by their personalities and brains and such. That's funny, huh? We all know this is nothing more than a parade of women as objects. It's sad that these girls have so little going for them that they compete to wear a little crown and have their lives thrown down the drain. I mean, where can you go after Miss America? Surely not into anything where you will be using your brains. You will always be an object, and it's too bad these naive girls don't realize that.
