CT.
I went to my little interview thingy,
and I got a job as a casual letter carrier...which means, I'm
a letter carrier without benefits, and I only get paid $9 an
hour...plus, it's only for 6 months...or longer...I forget.
That part was confusing, and I didn't ask her all the details.
I just know she said the job will be over in June 2003, then
if they need a mail clerk, I can do that for a certain length
of time, then go back to carrier...I hope something comes
open and I can get a permanent job, with the benefits and a
lot more money. I'm happy....very very nervous with all the
new people I will work with, as well as the people I will
meet delivering mail and all...all of that stuff, but it's
more money, more hours, day time instead of working in the
middle of the night...good thing overall.
Some dumbass turned right in front of
me when I went to get some Gatorade, but she didn't have her
signal on, so I started driving out, she yelled, "idiot!"
I'm thinking, look, dumbass- TURN SIGNAL...YOU are the idiot.
Jackass drivers...too many of them. WAY too easy to get a
license and keep it for the rest of your life without ever
being tested or watched or whatever! Annoying...
I start that job stuff Monday, so I
can't give me job now even a week's notice...oh well, I have
no choice. I'm going to work at 6, and will get done by, I
dunno 10? Who cares...I don't need the money or the hours
anymore...more later tonight probably...
