For those who keep repeating the nonsense that any war with Iraq would be over oil (I can see the guys and girls with long, dirty hair, and old clothes marching around with their big painted signs reading, "no blood for oil"- God rest their poor clueless souls):
"People have lost perspective," said Daniel Yergin, chairman of Cambridge Energy Research Associates. "They think all Iraqi oil is up for grabs. The way I think about it is there is clearly an oil element, but it is not the decisive one."
"Nobody even knows if there will be a rehabilitated Iraqi national oil company," Mr. Yergin continued, "or whether it will be the vehicle to extract Iraq out of its debts. No company will write a check for a million dollars without some sense of stability, without knowing who to negotiate with."
That quote, along with the costs of a military strike, setting up a new government, reforms to the country and the entire oil industry would make any possible oil revenue meaningless in the short term, and to some level in the long run. Then, you have the fact that experts think it will cost around $5 billion just to repair the pipelines and other means of drilling for, and carrying the oil that Iraq does have. You look at the gamble, and tell me you seriously think this is about oil. Oil ISN'T that expensive. We get oil for a pretty decent price...Anyone who claims that any military action is over oil is uninformed, and in turn- irresponsible. Too many people are speaking out of their asses without getting the facts.

By the way. Yet another group is running ads claiming that a war with Iraq would kill over half a million (someone needs to check the numbers again!), and that we need to let the inspections work. I will mention again, Blix himself says that he doesn't have any faith in the Iraqi's and doesn't think more time will change anything. So...why do they run these silly ads when the head inspector himself has lost all confidence in the process? I have no idea. They clearly want some publicity...other than that, it makes no sense...

He says there will only be war for oil. Ha. Can you imagine the U.S. going in and taking over Iraq, then start to ship all the oil out of the country? Does this idiot, or anyone else for that matter, really think a regime change in Iraq will have much of an effect on oil? They seem to think that we'll be given a bounty of oil for disarming Hussein. Clearly, you see his brain is working completely saying nonsense like this.
He says that he thinks it's possible that we are undermining the UN, because Kofi Annan is black. So, now he's saying that the American government is racist? Funny...if not for us, he would still probably be in prison and south africa would still be in the grips of apartheid. You're welcome, Nelson!! To call the president a racist for no reason is irresponsible at best...for Mandela, I think we should use the word- moron...or maybe- idiot.
Mandela, get a clue. You once seemed like a good man. Now, we know your true colors. You're a fool, and your opinion is unwarranted. We need a few less idiots spouting off...so, do us all a favor and keep your mouth closed. Either that, or turn on your brain THEN talk.

How sad. Congress can't give enough money to volunteer organizations like Americorps, yet they can spend all the money in the world when it comes to so- called "studies" where women watch pornography to see what stimulates them and what doesn't. Not to mention, "studies" that ask the question- why do prisoners want to break out of prison, and other vital "studies" on grapes and bumblebees! I cannot wait till we get some politicans that raise the question- is it alright to spend the citizen's money anyway we want on any silly program we want? The obvious answer is, no- it is completely wrong...but, I highly doubt it will ever change.

Head
of current weapons inspections, Hans Blix talks to Eric Shawn of Fox News. Here
are a few of the most important things he said. Plus, some of my own commentary
on the facts.
1.
Iraq is almost certainly spying on the weapons inspectors. They probably know
everywhere the inspectors are going before they go.
3. Iraq is staging protests against the United States and the weapons inspectors. If you notice, they almost always have a large number of signs in English. The average Iraqi cannot speak english. That's just one bit of evidence that you can look at. Robert Wiener talked about protests in his book Live From Baghdad. The protesters are told to protest for the cameras, and once the cameras leave or stop filming them, the people suddenly leave and stop all the protesting. This is all staged by the Iraqi government. Inspectors say they feel harassed, because the government has been starting a number of protests in front of the inspector's offices and in front of places they are inspecting.
3 . Blix says he would like more time for inspections, but he really doesn't
think Iraq will suddenly start to comply. He doesn't think that more time will
really make much of a difference, in that Iraq isn't fully cooperating now,
and they never will.
More facts for the peace hippies that say there is NO evidence that Iraq isn't
complying...and that there is no need to strike militarily. Let the inspections
work? Funny. The head of inspections, himself, basically says the inspections
won't work. Odd. I wonder how all the Bush haters think the inspections will
work after hearing that?
I am probably going to post about Nelson Mandela and his no brained comments yesterday. This guy has clearly lost it entirely after hearing what he said.

I mentioned before that when your country has parades with military men marching all weird like with the stiff legs, you know your leader is insane. Here is an article I just read an article in Slate about the issue...the goose- step it's called. Glad to see I'm not the only one who sees this sort of thing as showing the insanity of the nation's leaders!

I noticed that there were comedians on star search, so I started watching them, and is it just me or is Naomi Judd on crack? She gives the one guy 4 stars, then the next guy who is just as funny, she gives him a 2 and makes a noise like she's totally bored...yet, everyone else gave the guy a 4 or a 5. Take off the weirdo with the weird tastes! Then again, I really don't think red freaky haired Kelly Rowland should be judging anything either, so none is makes much difference, I guess! Ben Stein is cool tho.
I'm going to eat pizza now.

I wonder who listens to AM radio. I was flipping thru the channels just now on AM...all the way from the right to the left, and I could only find 2 stations that actually came in enough to listen to without pulling your hair out. They were both channels of music. I wonder who wants to listen to country music in mono on AM. Heck, I wonder why people listen to country music at all. I'm pretty sure it's still the number one music genre in the United States. Kinda scary. People listen to AM for talk radio, of course, but I wonder if this area is unique, in that, after sunset most AM signals are much lower and harder to pick up. Many AM stations don't even broadcast after sunset. I did hear bits of spanish language music and some spanish soap opera sounding stuff...maybe it was a play or something. Who knows. I do find it odd that asI go thru the dial I can hear about a million different voices all together...every now and then hearing a weather report from South Dakota or Fontana...the traffic report in downtown L.A. It's really a shame that some of this stuff doesn't come in. I mean, there's a lot of nonsense on AM, especially at night when the UFO weirdos hit the air, but there has to be some good stuff out there too. You can get on the internet and learn about places on the other side of the country, but it's different when you hear the voice over AM...it's completely different. Whereas the net can be somewhat plain in getting information from other places, radio news reports from distant cities like Pueblo and Riverside seem exciting to me. Then again, maybe I've lost it.

I was messing around with IPIX the other day. I will probably be adding some IPIX 360° images when the weather gets warmer...March, I guess? Should be nifty. Here is the image outside of Sears in Evansville, Indiana that I posted before, but now it's all nifty ipix- like and stuff.
With my host, you only get 50 MB of space and 6 GB and transfer a month. I am using 42 MB right now, and a lot of my stuff is on Lisa's site and my insight broadband account. Kinda sucks. I had to make a couple more insight names to have enough space. They sent me e mail today saying my internet could be out 2 hours or so from 12am to 6am tonight/tomorrow morning, due to upgrades to the network. I wonder if I will be able to upload this. I want another gyro. I will save it for lunch tomorrow, I guess. Anyone know of any organizations you can join to travel? I surely don't wanna join the military, and missions don't sound like too much fun. I want to see the desert.
I got 3 movies from the library today on DVD. The Vanishing (the original version with subtitles, I have no idea what language it's in), Y Tu Mama Tambien, tho I saw way too many penises while scanning thru the disc earlier- so maybe I won't watch it, and Final Fantasy, which I think I mentioned I was going to get a few days ago...just for the behind the scenes stuff and the commentary tracks. Fun.

If you cared to know, the State of the Union Address last night lasted 59 minutes and 40 seconds, and was interrupted over 70 times by applause. 77, I think. The president talked about Iraq for about 17 minutes.
Yesterday, I went to my little 7 minute meeting. It was indeed pointless. Told ya it would be. I went to the store after that and got two 3 liter root beers. I usually drink nothing but root beer. It used to be nothing but Gatorade, but that's too expensive for the size of the bottle. I also bought these nifty frozen gyro thingies. Funny, because they taste better than the gyro kits you can buy where you actually fry the meat up yourself and stuff. They had onions and some sauce (whatever that stuff is- cucumber, I think?)
I think it's dumb for the democrats to talk after the address, and basically disagree with most of what was said. The two party system is ridiculous if you ask me. I watch all these news shows, and when a democrat is on, you ALWAYS know the guy or woman will disagree with the President. It's funny. It's like none of them have brains of their own...their brains belong to the party. I'm much more conservative, but still- I would never affiliate myself with a particular party.
I never watched any Sports Night. Poor me. I'm off to watch Fox and Friends...

They were MURDERED, yet you call your little band of talentless idiots Murder Inc. GREAT IDEA! I doubt they could make themselves look dumber...I don't even have to try that hard. I was watching Fox and Friends just now, and they were talking to Mancow. He was making fun of Spike Lee's new movie...well, he was wondering why Spike seems to have to always include his stupid politics in his films. Plus, his movies suck. I agree. He is way overrated, and his movies DO suck. I don't get how he's popular at all. Just a note.
I thought Sports Night episodes were one hour long. I'm dumb, huh? I have Final Fantasy on DVD on hold at the library. I watched it the other day (I wrote a review on it too, in the movie section), and I really liked it a lot. Now, I want to see the behind the scenes stuff. It's interesting.
I changed my screen resolution. Now, everything is very small and somewhat hard to see. I might change it back, but it's nice seeing more on the screen.
I love Dreamweaver. Great program. So much better than Front Page. Then again, I have used Front Page forever, so it was tough. I know Lisa is making fun of me right now. I can't wait to eat pizza. I want that new sstuffed crust gold pizza, with the cheese baked on the outside of the crust. I love cheese. It's great. By far, the best part of pizza.
I just left the room to get some chicken strips. I am starving. For pizza. This weekend, people. More pizza in February. Wink wink. I'm a riot.I ate 3 cookies and twix about ten minutes ago. I am gonna die of heart disease or something, aren't I?
I have a pointless meeting at 9, so I won't be going to sleep. By the time I get home, I'll be all up and ready to stay up, I bet. I'll watch Sports Night then. I need to start reading Invasion. Well, reading more of it and finising it. Also- I'm reading The Freefall of Webster Cummings, which so far seems to have a million different characters! I still have no idea what it's about, but I'm only on page 48. I'm a slow reader. I've been working on a book for the past 8 years- you're a slow reader. Ha ha ha.

Hey, idiots. I don't think you can fairly call this racial profiling. They use this term to try to drum up support with idiots like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, and people like them. Adding the word "racial" distorts the issue. I would call it immigration profiling, and it WORKS. Not In Our Name makes asses of themselves again. The insane peaceniks now compare the terrorist attacks on September 11 to the US action in Panama (when we took out Noriega), and the US led liberation of Kuwait! They said this in a 2 page ads in a number of papers, I believe. I'm not positive what paper it was, but it's clear, they have the propaganda turned on full blast. There comparisons are nonsense, and any sensible person knows that these people are not dealing in the truth. These people will continue to make fools of themselves and bash this country no matter what happens. These people are unamerican, and if they hate our policy so much, I recommend that they leave and see if they can survive somewhere else...maybe Iraq. I mean, they seem to be so against taking out Hussein, so they must not dislike him too much.

Another example of how the UN is a useless organization. The country named head of the UN Humans Rights dept? Libya! The country that is cited time and time again for human rights violations. The country that almost certainly responsible for the downing of the PAN AM flight over Scotland. A country that kidnaps and kills its citizens. Thank God we have such a civilized member of the UN watching over human rights!
Also- The NAACP starts running blatantly racist commercials in movie theatres. More on this soon.
And finally- I watched a disturbing show on BET last night called Oh Drama, and the topic of discussion was race and the justice system in the U.S. These idiots spent an hour claiming that all cops and all judges, lawyers, the entire justice system is racist towards black men and women. A teen girl in the audience who has a child has to turn herself into authorities and spend 5 years in prison for dealing PCP. She said she gets $450 a month in welfare (shocking! black high school droputs on welfare, no way! don't claim this is racism- welfare is given out to blacks in obscene numbers compared to any other racial group), and that her rent was $450 (why so much? there are much cheaper alternatives- I was going to get a two bedroom apartment for $350 a month before!)...so, what was she supposed to do? She had to take care of her child! She says it's racism because black people are kept poor (yes, all us evil white men made her quit school and have a kid at such an early age with a father who doesn't live with her!) Larry Elder (who seems like a very smart guy) spoke out against all these idiots. He asked how many other children the child's father has. None of your business, was the response by the young girl. Exactly- you proved Elder's point with your comment. Of course the black father has a number of illegitmate children (75% of black children born are abandoned by their fathers!) - that's why she refused to answer the question. So, maybe, JUST MAYBE her problem is this- she's a clueless fool who dropped out of high school, has no job, has unprotected sex with a guy who already has a number of other children with other women, and then deals drugs. MAYBE that's where your problems lie! Like Elder says in his book, The Ten Things You Can't Say in America- "blacks are more racist than whites." Last night's program was a disgusting showing of this trend. Also, like he says- blacks need to stop the victim mentality. It's 2002, you guys are no longer the victims you claim to be. Wise up. Stay in school, get jobs, stop dealing the drugs, and for the love of God, stop blaming everyone else for your problems.
I will point out the following about Elder- I surely do not agree that any illegal drugs should be legalized (he does, I believe.)

Charles Rangel says we should bring back the draft, because blacks make up a
disproportionate percentage of the combat forces. Funny- USA today shows just
the opposite. Like I said before, he's a racist with nothing better to do than
to tie up congress with nonsense.

is doing research on the space shuttle as we speak. What research, you ask?
Soot. Glad to see we're spending millions on soot, when overall health care
in this country is shoddy at best, so many are unemployed, and our schools are
the laughing stock of the world. Thank God for these geniuses that think spending
obscene amounts of money to build a useless space station or doing top notch
research on soot is more important!

Anyone see the crazy commercial about total nuclear devestation
from the whackos at moveon.org? The commercial has a young girl counting backwards
and picking petals off a flower, then the voice over talks about Iraq and what
happens if extremists take over entire countries and get ahold of nuclear weapons...then,
as the girl countsdown, when she gets to zero, we see footage of a nuclear explosion.
The voice over says- maybe this is why Americans are telling President Bush,
let the inspections work.
A few points about this silly commercial. First off- the link between a war
with Iraq and nuclear weapons killing millions of Americans is just downright
ludicrous. It's irresponsible to use such ignorance to try to scare people.
Second, most Americans (according to all the polls) are in support of taking
out Hussein. So, they lose all credibility when they claim things that are nowhere
near true. Third, the inspectors aren't there to find weapons, they are there
to verify Hussein has disarmed. The inspectors have said that Iraq is illegally
importing weapons, they have found chemical shells- which are in violation of
the UN resolutions, Iraq has proven they cannot be honest about weapons- they
claimed that forgot about these chemical shells because they have been stored
in the bunkers they were found in for such a ling time, and that they expired
in the 80's, yet the bunkers weren't even built until the mid 90's. Hussein,
while under UN demands to disarm (UN, not US!) keeps the rhetoric going strong...claiming
the Iraqis will kill the American imperialists and other such nonsense.
Those three points alone say to me that these people who put out this commercial
are trying their best to deceive as many as they can. They try to show a nonexistant
link between taking out Hussein and full out nuclear attacks, then they try
to claim that most Americans are against any action against Iraq, when all the
polls show that that's not the case at all, then they try to make us all believe
the inspectors aren't finding anything, and that Bush and the entire administration
is totally jumping the gun. It's a good thing we're not all idiots, or we would
believe liars like this moveon group. They should be ashamed of themselves for
the attempted deception.

Ya know. I don't understand what the big deal is over this new
Miller Lite ad. It's semi- funny, and it's not that risque. No more than a million
other things on TV. People are making way too big a deal of it, if you ask me.
Then, they keep talking about how it MIGHT be okay if they played it during
late night shows only, when kids aren't watching. Believe it or not- many kids
are up very late at night watching a number of programs their parents won't
allow them to watch...and some parents even allow their kids to watch pretty
much anything, so that argument is pretty silly. It's rather comical that they
keep playing during the day on CNN and Fox News. So, we have news shows talking
about how these ads might be inappropriate because Miller is buying time during
hours when kids are awake and watching, yet the same news shows keep playing
the ad during the same hours. I saw it probably 3 or 4 times today alone. I
just don't get why people get so uptight about stuff like that. We have better
things to worry about, like our failing schools and government deficits and
stuff.

me...It's not a very exciting one, but I thought I would add it anyhow.
Today I ate breakfast three times. I stayed up all night...I finally fell asleep
at like 11 A.M. I guess? I ate some toast and oatmeal (strawberry) in the middle
of the night, then in the morning, my stomach was hurting, so I ate toast and
blueberry oatmeal, then I ate scrambled eggs a while after that...with even
more toast, I think? No, wait...biscuits, it was. I'm a pig, huh? I went to
the Dollar General Store and got yet another $1 book. Some book called Big Dreams...something
about travels thru California. I was going to get another one, but I decided
not to. I also got the book Beat The Cops- The Guide to Fighting Your Traffic
Ticket and Winning. It came all the way from Alabama from the Interlibrary Loan
service. I like that...you can't get any book you can think of. If the library
here doesn't have it, they can get it from any other library that participates
in the program across the country. I love the Evansville Library website, by
the way. Just have to plug it. It's great for finding new movies and going to
check them out when you get there. The site shows the entire catalog...how many
of what books, CD's, DVD's, etc they have, which branch each is located in,
if it's in or not, when it's due if it's not in...plus, you can put a hold on
books and videos and renew the items you have checked out on the site as well.
They list all the new released in the Audio Visual Department, so it's better
than even Blockbuster, and they don't lack in choice. They have a lot of the
newest releases. Another cool thing, you can suggest items for them to buy.
I requested Father Ted (the entire series) on DVD, and two days later it was
listed in my hold section of the site- they ordered a copy the next day. Check
it out yourself if you get the chance- http://www.evpl.org.
When I went to the library, it was packed. Bunch of school kids in some big
group checking out videos, magazines, and books. Some sorta field trip or something...don't
ask me. I rode the elevator down with two girls. I was joking around with them.
I hope they didn't think I was a dork! Then again, they were probably 11, so,
who knows. I wasn't that nervous going in there today. I did pretty well, even
tho it's been a couple days since I have been in there. It was kinda surprising,
considering the fact that there were a lot of people in there, and I had to
wait in the line downstairs for a book, which I usually don't have to do that
often. I even went to the grocery store instead of getting fast food, and it
was packed too. I was okay in there as well. I'll pat myself on the back, don't
worry, kids.
I watched Leatherface, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3 on vhs last night, and
I am watching it again now. That movie is great...especially the beginning.
Very nice setting in the desert and all...
Well...I will shut up now. This was an action packed entry mainly about the
library and toast...you all must be thrilled.

The 'Not In Our Name' head made an ass of himself on Hannity
and Colmes last night (Monday night I believe it was?). He refused to answer
any of the questions he was asked, and whenever he had a chance to speak, he
used it as a speech platform to spout off with his nonsense. He claims the U.S.
snatched up the UN weapons reports and took out incriminating evidence that
made the U.S. look bad- which is just funny. He refused to answer the questions
about the evils of Hussein. He neglects to ever mention the fact that Hussein
is the reason the UN sanctions are in place (he calls them U.S. sanctions!),
and if not for Hussein and his atrocities, they would have been lifted long
ago. No reasonable person can deny Hussein is a madman, yet this guy seems to
ignore the facts in regards to that issue. He claims the U.S. has killed innocent
people many times, and we have invaded countries, etc. He is clearly dillusional.
On the show last night- they were forced to shut his mic off 3 times, because
he refused to stop his ranting nonsense and to give the other guest a chance
to speak.

Ahh...the tainted U.S. legal system strikes again. Latifah was fined
in 1996 (why only fined?) when police found a loaded gun and marijuana in her
car after she was stopped for speeding. Now, she is an admitted drunk driver.
Yet- still, she receives what amounts to a slap on the wrist. Is this normal
procedure for drunk drivers (who kill thousands of people on our highways every
year!)...as well as people driving around with pot and loaded weapons? It's
kinda silly. You can be put away for 25 years for having anything to do with
drug dealing (you don't even have to be actually doing the dealing- you can
get hard time for being the 'lookout'!), yet, you can smoke the same marijuana,
have loaded guns in your car, and drink and drive, and all you have to do is
pay a fine and take some classes? THIS is why drunk driving still happens- people
know they can get away with it. You constantly hear stories of drivers who have
been convicted of drunk driving up to 20 times before they face big prison sentences...until
something is done and this ridiculous system of justice is totally reformed,
these sorts of crimes will continue, and they will continue to go unpunished.
If Latifah has been caught once for drunk driving, then surely, it stands to
reason that she has been driving under the influence many many times. When do
we really punish her? Do we do like usual and wait till she crashes into an
innocent family, killing them all before actually punish her? This makes no
sense.
Latifah Pleads Guilty to Reckless Driving
Queen Latifah has pleaded no contest to charges of reckless driving
to avoid facing trial on drunk driving allegations. The rapper and movie star
was sentenced to three years probation and ordered to pay $300 in fines and
to start an alcohol education program after being found driving under the influence.
Latifah failed a sobriety test when she was pulled over for making an unsafe
lane change on the Hollywood Freeway. The rapper did not attend the hearing
in Los Angeles Supreme Court, but the plea was entered on her behalf by lawyer
Blair Berk. The 32-year-old star of Chicago committed a previous driving misdemeanor
in 1996, when she was stopped for speeding in Los Angeles. She was fined over
the incident, where police found a loaded gun and marijuana in her car.

You couldn't pay me to see a movie like this...but I keep seeing ads for it, and Kate Hudson looks to be in her mid thirties here, yet she's younger than me (I'm 24.) Matthew (no talent, always does weird stuff with his face, couldn't find a good script if his life depended on it) McConaughey was born in 1969 according to the internet, which makes him atleast 10 years older than Hudson. Iraq Keeps Breaking the Rules
UN resolution demanded Iraq let unmanned predator drones fly over Iraq, yet
Iraq shot one down recently.
Inspectors have
found 12 chemical weapons shells (which were not included in Iraq's 12, 000
page declaration of weapons- Iraq claims they forgot- very convenient!) near
Baghdad. 11 are empty, one needs more testing to see if there is any chemical
weapon material within it.
Hans Blix, head
of the UN inspection team in Iraq, has said that Iraq is illegal importing weapons
in the past few weeks.
Iraq continues
to fire on allied aircraft in the no-fly- zone.
Now, I'm wondering how all those who are so againsnt any type of war explain
these events? It brings to mind the shirt that clueless Sheryl Crow wore at
the American Music Awards (her shirt read "war is not the answer")-
what does she and those who share her opinion suppose we do? Do we just let
Hussein and his henchmen continue to go about their business, lying to the UN
and breaking resolution after resolution? Do they REALLY think we can peacefully
talk Hussein into complying? Remember the Gulf War? We're speaking of a man
who sent scud missiles into Israel during that short war. Why? He's a madman,
that's why. That much is clear, but these people just want to let this madman

Bush Calls University Admissions Unconstitutional
More racism against whites today, with Bush coming out against the
Univ. of Michigans affirmative action admissions policy. Prospective students
are scored on a scale from 0-150, and minorities automatically get 20 points,
improving their chances of admission! If that's not racism, I don't know what
is! Now...those for affirmative action claim that minorities wouldn't have much
of a chance of getting into college the way they do now if it was abolished.
Wait...so, what you're saying is these students don't have the accomplishments
to get into college, and basically the only reason they're actually getting
in is because of their racial makeup? That's a great idea! Let's fill our universities
up with kids who wouldn't be able to get in if they were white, but because
they're not white, sure- come on in! What does that accomplish? Some claim racial
"diversity" is good for a school. Why? That's ludicrous. How is a
school a better place because we let in some minority students who couldn't
make the grade without taking into consideration their skin color? If you can
tell me how that makes any school or any place on earth better- you let me know!
Is it the diversity of thought and opinion? Hmm, well, that can't be it, unless
you're trying to claim that all asians think the same way or all whites think
the same way. That argument doesn't hold up at all, so let's see. What else
could it be? Frankly, other than that very weak argument of diversity of thought,
I cannot think of any other reason someone might try to claim it would be better
for the school.
Some idiot from the NAACP (I say idiot, since the NAACP itself is a racist organization-
if you had a group calling for the advancement of whites, they're headquarters
would be firebombed before they had a chance to open up! Okay, so maybe that's
a little extreme, but be honest with yourself...it would never stand, and anyone
associated with the group would be forever labeled racist pigs.) This guy from
the NAACP mentioned how, without affirmative action, blacks wouldn't be admitted
in very large numbers. So, again, he's claiming that minorities couldn't meet
the standards of admissions, but since they're minorities, we'll let them in
anyhow? Great plan! I love it! Well, the mentally handicapped are a minority,
should they get automatic admission too? Well, hell...if you ask me, they should!
The 2003 class of Yale with a combined IQ of 40! I joke, but seriously...where
does it stop? Being a minority shouldn't give you preference over someone else
who is more qualified!
This reverse racism (racism against whites seems to be ever increasing) is just
as digusting as any other type of racism, and it needs to end. This is yet one
more example of the racism that is alive today in America, and it's racism that
is not only tolerated, it is celebrated. I'm never going to feel bad because
I'm white. Sorry, folks, but I never owned a slave, I never spit on anyone because
their skin was a different color, I never called anyone a racist name...so,
get off my back. I shouldn't be punished for being white, just as you shouldn't
be punished for not being white. Maybe one day, some people in this country
will understand what the word equality actually means, and they'll stop trying
to tip the scales away from those who have done nothing wrong.

Seems like a weak "study" to me. I don't know if you can call sending
in a bunch of resumes, then collecting some general results a study. I wonder
why they seemed they had to use the EXTREME end of the "black" names
scale, so to speak. Kareem? Personally, call me a racist if you want, but the
names don't exactly sound exclusively black, to me, they sound sort of- what's
the word...unusual? I mean, Kareem and Rasheed sound arabic to me...Tamika just
sounds silly (sorry to all the Tamikas out there!) Main feeling I get when I
see the names and the differences between the "white" names and the
"black" ones...what do you see? I see that all the "white"
names are average names that we have all heard a million times. The "black"
names sound unusual...you don't meet too many people named Kareem in the U.S.
Nor Tamika, Aisha (the only Aisha I have ever known of is the chick who hosted
Talk Soup and The 5th Wheel), or any of the others, Tyrone is probably the most
common name of the bunch, and sure, it does sound "black" to me. So,
maybe the results should have been- you're more likely to get a reply when your
name is a more popular name. You could reasonably draw the same conclusion if
you ask me. You could probably draw other conclusions. I personally don't think
this shows any sort of racism myself, but who knows...
Then again- Who do you think Americans trust more (Americans being whites, asians, the hispanic population, native americans, blacks, etc) in general? A white applicant or a black applicant? Let's be honest. Most people in this country would say the white applicant. But, why? Is it racism? Or...is it the portrayal each ethnic group gets in this society? And...is each portrayal fair or unfair? If you think that a white man would make a better employee because of everything you know (based on what you have seen in person; heard from family and friends; what you see in entertainment- books, radio, tv, movies; and what you have seen in the news/media, etc)..does that mean you're racist, or does it mean that there might be some truths in the different stereotypes? If there are some truths...how much is true and how much is something you made up in your head. Maybe it is racist, maybe it isn't...but, I think people (mainly minorities) are too quick to jump on an issue and call it racism, when perhaps it isn't. I stick by the statement that all men and women with equal credentials have pretty much the same chance of making it in this country, and I will need to see a lot more than a small test like this to change my mind even the slightest.

idea of affirmative action (I actually got a letter the other day, where the

employer/service- giver, etc. That's an oxymoron if I ever heard one! Equal,
yet give minorities the first chance at services and such...umm, get a dictionary
someone, that's hardly equal! This person writing this review is clearly insane
and they must live in candyland or something other magical world where reality
doesn't exist. The U.S. government owes nothing to black america. If you attempt
to punish the government by demanding the pay blacks reparations, or further
enhancing the racist ideas that are the basis of failed systems like affirmative
action or welfare or section 8 housing (look at the stats, and see who receives
most of that aid!), you're in turn punishing every American. Where do you think
the government funds come from? Americans- black, white, brown, purple, yellow,
red, and green! Why should we pay you when most of us have nothing to do with
the problems you're facing? Why should we pay you anything when the blame for
most of your problems lies mainly within your own population? If you're a minority
in the U.S. and you really think you have less a chance of making it...if you
think you are forced into poverty or a life of crime because of the evil "man,"
then you're just as crazy as the writer of this review, and ultimately the writer
of the book.

need to shut their traps up and use their brain cells to do something good.

I was watching Good Day Live a minute ago (those three
are some of the worst people on tv, btw), and they couldn't show any "performance"
footage from the American Music Awards (there were two awards shows this week-
do these people REALLy need that much attention?), because of some silly ABC
rules. Then, the lady mentioned she could say "bitchy" on the local
show, but not on the syndicated version of the show (we know that some kid might
flip the channel off of a cartoon and hear the word "bitchy" then
go out and kill a few people!), plus, the lady mentioned she wasn't allowed
to say "boob job" either. I have noticed one thing. In comparing censorship
in the United States and the UK, the U.S. is so easy on violence (hey, blood
and guts are fine!) but we're so paranoid on language and stuff like that (they
blur the screen when someone flips the bird!)...in the UK, they seem to be all
paranoid over violence and fine with language for the most part (they say "tits"
and "shit" on the Young Ones, I noticed...I just don't get it...at
all...
By the way- Jillian, lay off the cigs or whatever- your voice is so raspy, I sometimes hear you, and think a man is on tv.

Anyone see that British show from 82 called the Young Ones? It ran two season
(or series if your British) for a total of 12 episodes. I got the complete series
on DVD from the library a week ago, and it's due tomorrow. I tried to renew
it, but there's a hold on it, so I wasn't able to. Which means, I have 6 episodes
yet to watch. I watched season 1, and it's funny stuff. VERY weird show...no
real plot to any of the episodes, just a loose story that makes little sense.
It works tho, and I like it a lot, tho, I did have to turn the subtitles on
every now and then to be able to tell what on earth they were saying (those
accents, I tell ya.)
I noticed that
a few of the guys in the show are in a number of other shows together...including
Bottom and something called Filthy Rich and Catflap (or something like that.)
They have the first episode of each series on the third disc in the Young Ones
set, and I need to watch them as well. I watched the start of both, and they
look funny...so I started a wishlist on amazon.com in the UK. Question, btw-
why is it amazon.co.uk? What's with the co? I wonder.
It's 4:10 A.M.
right now, and I can barely stay away, but I need to...watch these next 6 episodes
(half hour each), plus I got the best of Red Green- which is sorta a cult classic
here in the U.S. I feel a sense of accomplishment watching stuff and reading...like
I have filled my brain with that much more information, no matter how useless
it is. I just finished reading Live From Baghdad. It was pretty good, but the
movie was better (that's something you rarely hear! The book is usually always
better.) Then again, the movie really didn't stick very closely to the book.
They made Ingrid a huge character in the movie, but in the book, he didn't talk
about her much at all. Actually, she left Baghdad a bunch of times, and he was
there without her...which kinda bugs me, but then again, it's just a movie,
and they had to make it a bit more exciting, right? Lisa
has hernew layout up. Check it out. She worked hard on it.
Tomorrow I need
to call this Hope lady. She sent me a bill for something...I don't even know
what on earth it's for. I always get the crappiest people to work with. So inept.
Woe is me, huh?
I have been running
the Live TV camera pretty much all day and all night lately...the pics are small
and they don't use too much bandwidth, and my ftp isn't included in my monthly
allowance. Maybe more people will check it out, and I will be cool. If you want
to watch nonstop cartoons during the day (well, after 2 PM, that is- people's
court and such before that time...) check the live tv cam out...if not, then
don't. Either way works for me.

Action Alert
Crooked Illinois Governor, George Ryan, has decided the federal and state system
of justice we have in place is not good enough for him. He has released 4 prisoners
from life sentences (one killed 7 in a house fire he set, another murdererd
4.) These prisoners will not be free to go back into society and possibly commit
the same crimes again. Governor Ryan says he is sure these men are innocent,
tho juries found them all guilty. "A number of Ryan's close advisers have
been indicted, and federal prosecutors have alleged the governor knew of attempts
to conceal potential wrongdoing from investigators." states a CNN news
story. Clearly, he thinks he is above the law here as well.
Ryan is a disgrace
for taking the law into his own hands as he leaves office. He has decided that
the convicted murderers were the real victims. The man is clearly dillusional
at best, completely insane at worst. I urge anyone who reads this and is pissed
off as I am to contact the governor's office as well as the Illinois Attorney
General's office and demand an investigation be commenced on behalf of the victims
and their families. We cannot let shady politicians get away with evil acts
such as these. Governors should not have the right to decide the law themselves,
when juries have already done so...they should be allowed to let convicted murderers
go completely free, let loose on the streets where innocent people might be
victims of their crimes again. This is an outrage, and we should demand more
of our government and our system of justice. Gov. Ryan has failed these victims
and their families, and he should be ashamed of himself.

prove to be probably the biggest of all the 'cam girl' idiots in internet land.
This clueless mother and daughter team (the mother claims she is mystified how
her daughter become some popular online. “I hope it's her writing skills,”
she says in the interview- yea, I bet you do, smart one) gave an interview to
48 Hours for the show they aired last night. Renee claims CBS didn't have any
right to use her in the interview...which is just funny. Maybe she realizes
that she looks like a jackass? We all know that CBS News has a reputation for
being unethical in its journalistic practices, and often use interviews with
people who didn't really give their consent (yea right!) I just think this girl
is hilarious (and scary), and her mother may even be worse. We have all heard
the rumors about this girl...the stories are all over the net (she is even above
kinkay.net in the "sluttiness" factor according to most people.) I,
myself, believe that some of the rumors have to be true...there is no way this
girl (look at her pictures...she's not very attractive- I seriously doubt anyone
would pay to see that face and nothing else) makes all this money without showing
some skin. As you can see from her picture on the CBS site, she is pulling her
top down to expose some cleavage, and she has written above her breasts "sold
separately." This lends credence to a lot of the rumors in my opinion.
Even if none of the rumors were true, you have the fact that she's making money
by trying to show as much as she can for dirty old men who pay to see her...men
who also send her expensive gifts. Why would any parent let their child do this,
you ask? Well, the parents interviewed on 48 Hours last night are clearly not
running on all cylinders. It is quite obvious from their words and actions that
they don't care what their children do, and the fact is- these aren't very bright
people. Stupid people will let their stupid kids do stupid things, I guess.
Does it make it okay? Not in the least. I think it is disgusting, and I am quite
certain that the majority of adults in this country agree.
You might think
my words are harsh, but this is sick what these people are allowing their CHILDREN
to do. Someone needs to put an end to it. I am not saying it is all the parents
fault...because many of these girls are old enough to know right from wrong,
and most would agree- this IS wrong. This WILL hurt them in the long run, and
they will regret their decisions in the future...we need to control these parents
that aren't living up to their responsibilities. They bring kids into this world,
then they let them do whatever they want, no matter how immoral they think it
is. As Renee's mother claims, she was uncomfortable with her daughter making
money by linking to porn sites, but she makes good money from it. If she was
uncomfortable with it, why did she allow her to do it?! How sweet...I wonder
where this "mother" draws the line when it comes to cash. Her daughter
is half nude on the internet where old men pay to see her pics, she links to
pornography, and there are rumors of even worse...I wonder what she WOULDN'T
let her daughter do for money? No telling with parents like these...

Did you know that Mayor Brown of San Francisco (I have read a number of stories
on this guy, and I assure you, he is crazy) helped start a policy in the city
where homeless people are given a check for $350 a month? I don't even get that
much for nothing! (who does, huh?) This is just another moronic policy by corrupt
government, and I had to share. We need to be aware of all of this stuff if
you ask me...it's the only way to stop it (one day.) As O'Reilly mentioned tonight,
California has big budget problems due to stupid stuff like this...as well as
Gray Davis who is looting the government's money to get votes. California's
budget deficit is bigger than all other state deficits COMBINED! Now, if that
isn't ridiculous, I don't know what is. How Gray Davis is still on office, I
have no clue. If you live in California, I urge you to write Mr. Davis and tell
him to spend your tax dollars in a responsible manner.

Rumsfeld declares: No draft
United Press International
Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld Tuesday declared there would not be a military draft, despite a bill introduced last month in Congress to do just that.
"We're not going to re-implement a draft. There is no need for it at all," Rumsfeld said.
Rep. Charles Rangel, D-N.Y., a Korean War veteran and a strong critic of going to war with Iraq, introduced the bill because, he said, "the burden of military service was being borne disproportionately by members of disadvantaged groups."
Minorities compose more than a third of the military, although they make up only about one-quarter of the American populace.
Rangel also believes
Congress and the American public would have less of an appetite for war if more
of their children would be involved in it.
JOSH'S COMMENTS: Hey Rangel. You're an IDIOT! You're trying to bring race into the whole military issue now? I highly doubt that 1/3 of the U.S. military is made up of minorities. That doesn't make any sense. Even if it was...so what? Maybe this is news to you and your small brain, but- drumroll....the U.S. armed forces is VOLUNTARY!! Yes, Charlie, that means that no one is forcing anyone to join up. That's not the way it works. If those numbers were accurate, that just means that more minorities CHOSE to sign up for the military. It's really kind of funny how he claims that "disadvantaged groups" (how on earth are minorities considered disadvantaged?- this shows his true racist agenda) are signing up in bigger numbers...so, he thinks bringing back the draft (which demands people who don't want to fight to join the military) is a good idea, but at the same time, he claims that he did it to suppress the appetite of war! So, you don't want war, and you're against military action in Iraq, but you want to force people to fight even if they have no desire to? That's a total contradiction.

Today, Shepard Smith from the Fox News Channel said that Joe Millionaire on
FOX won the entire night last night, but the ratings shows Everybody Loves Raymond
beat it. Hmm. Fox News...Fox. Looks like someone needs to learn how to read
the numbers.
I didn't care for
that show too much. It only lasts 7 weeks I believe, and most of the girls seem
annoying already...great for people who love dumb women stereotypes, bad for
the women who are dumb enough to go on a tv show on Fox to find a date! It seems
like a good idea, but this Evan guy is really in it for love...or so he says.
Which means, he's pretty stupid himself. He thinks he's gonna find his true
love by lying to her for weeks and months on a tv show? Almost...no wonder he
only makes $19, 000 a year...doesn't seem to smart to being this if he's really
looking for his one true love...
The show was the
regular bachelor type show, so that means, it will ultimately suck. The only
enjoyable part I can see coming up, is when he actually tells them he was full
of it, and he's nearly broke! Well, not broke, but less than $20k a year is
close to it! Anyhow...I'm sick of these reality shows, and why is it with all
of these shows now they have to vote people off? Horrible idea that takes the
fun out of shows like this...some of the girls that got cut could have brought
us some good laughs, but we'll never know. Seems like he could pick his "mate"
out of the 20 women without having any of them leave.
I want to see that new show on NBC about the senator...forget the name of it. Mr. Sterling, maybe? It looks good. Anything else good coming up? I have no idea myself...I will keep an eye out for anything exciting, of course...

So, crest advertises its white strips by telling us that dentists use the strips
too, BUT- they're the professional version ONLY available in the dentist offices...so,
they want us to buy their product because dentists use a professional version
that we CAN'T buy and bring home? Thanks, Crest...
I can't stand companies that lie to sell their product. If you have to lie to
sell something, the product isn't worth buying in the first place.

business ideas. They whine like babies about a machine that will NOT have
any horrible effect on local business. It's not as if this machine will run
out all the humans, and the machines themselves will eventually take over! People
like this are clueless. Business is business...you must compete. If the people
in the area can't compete with a vending machine (the site lists no real reasons
why these machines would have the devastating impact they claim), then get a
better business model. Why should we boycott McDonalds for trying to compete?
How is McDonalds competing unfairly? I thought the point of business was to
beat the other guys by having a better product and better service? If people
think it's so bad and so evil, then it will be removed because of low sales.
I think it is still there today, so that means the sales must be good enough
to warrant it staying there...which means (the webmaster of this site and others
who agree with him should listen closely now!) MOST PEOPLE LIKE IT!! If most
people hated it, they wouldn't use it, which means- no money would be deposited
into it, which then means it would close! Amazing how the American economy works!
This Rogers guy is a clueless dunce if you ask me. Find something REAL to whine

If you read this letter, you'll see this guy is just as clueless. He says the machine was dropped there by McDonalds under an assumed named. Now...this letter was written in August of last year- from what I read, the thing might not have even been owned by McDonalds at that point. McDonalds but the machines and the name from another company. Even if McDonalds owned it at that point? So what?! Big deal...Kraft Mac and Cheese is owned by tobacco giant Philip Morris. Gasp! No way...this sort of thing happens all the time...get used to it, and get over it. He also claims that most people he has heard from don't like the machines...but, as I said before, if they didn't like it, there wouldn't be enough sales to keep it there. It's still there...so either he is lying or he is only listening to what he wants to hear.

These people want to whine about good business that makes sense, seemingly because
the local businesses can't cut it. I say, shut up. If you don't like it, don't

What is the commercial really trying to warn us about? The fact that they say "teens" makes it sound as tho the stats are for kids in high school. But...18 and 19 is considered "teen." So, that means that legal adult women who might be having kids by choice are included in these stats...so that's not fair to calculate. You can't use scare tactics like this to get girls to abstain from sex. Studies show that abstinence ONLY programs do not work. Teens are going to have sex if they want, and no silly PSA is going to stop them.
