Longing

I can't write poetry, as you will soon see...

For you-

My heart is filled with heaviness
My joy and hope all gone

I long for your love that I hold so dear
I long to hear you whisper I love you

My heart beats fast with the hope that's still alive
I cringe at the thoughts you might have gone forever

This love we had meant so much to me
It feels like my breath has been taken away

I need you more than ever now
All I ask is that you stay

Stay...
