Time to Punish the Elected Reps. Taking Part in Mock Impeachment Hearing

(514 Words) Posted at June 19, 2005 02:00 PM in Politics .

Just so everyone knows...here is a partial list of the idiots taking part in the bogus "hearing" on the downing street memo, calling for an official inquiry (too bad it already took place...it was called the 9/11 Commission- too bad Democrats are a bit too clueless to grasp this fact), and some of them calling for impeachment.

I have mentioned Cindy Sheehan (the communist, anti-Israel, liar whose son died in Iraq) and Joe Wilson (the man exposed as a liar and booted off of Kerry's campaign after the discovery of his lies came out), but here are a few others that took part in this embarassing spectacle.

  • John Conyers (who claims Bush stole Ohio in the 2004 election, and still sticks to this claim even AFTER he held hearings and found no credible evidence for this claim.)

  • Maxine Waters (who claims the US government is trying to wipe out the black race and that the CIA introduced crack cocaine to the inner cities to make this happen.)

  • Charlie Rangel (who recently said that the US war in Iraq is one of the biggest hoaxes in our history, and that it's very much like the nazi holocaust of the Jews in WWII.)

  • Maurice Hinchey (a Rep. from NY that I've never heard of, but I doubt it'd be too hard to find outrageous claims from this idiot as well.)
  • I would urge all Americans who are represented by the above members of Congress to work to make sure they're soon out of office. I have mentioned this memo nonsense numerous times, and only outright liars take the memo seriously- the claim of "fix(ed)" intelligence is far too easily discredited for any American to have any excuse for giving this thing any serious respect. The Bush haters will stop at nothing to sprnead lies to as many Americans as possible. A portion of the American public are loons and will buy into anything the Bush haters say, but that doesn't mean that all of us shouldn't be actively fighting the propaganda being spead by these foolish, misguided, and sometimes downright treacherous Americans.

Elected officials that use information they know to be untrue (these people aren't COMPLETELY brain dead, and this memo is blown apart by an ounce of common sense, so there's little chance they actually believe any intelligence was "fixed" to begin with) cannot be tolerated, and they have no place in our government. They are an embarassment to all Americans and the offices they hold. With such lies, they also endanger the security of our troops in harm's way and the American people here at home...these bogus hearings and outrageous comments from these Democrats will no doubt be used by the terrorists and will lead to further attacks on our soldiers and further attacks on our homeland. There is no excuse for the reprehensible behavior of these Democrats, and they must be stopped before they damage our nation further.

Remember these elected officials come election day...and make sure they're out on the streets and no longer in positions where they can abuse their power.

Um, the 9/11 Commission was about 9/11. The Downing Street memo investigations concerns planning for the Iraq war. Don't confuse the two!

Also, you couldn't find anything about a congressman, so you just say "I'm sure that he's said some wacky stuff"? That's possibly the laziest blogging I've ever seen, and it also showcases your partisan nature: liberal until proven liberal.

the 9/11 commission DID take on the question of the iraq war and intelligence. the conclusion was- no one lied about any intelligence, no one coerced anyone into lying abut intel and no one fixed any intel.

as for hinchey, its a matter of common sense. i hadnt the time to look him up when i posted this...but its obvious that hes nuts. a quick google search proves as much. this is the guy that came out with the claim that karl rove tricked dan rather and planted those phony bush natl guard memos.

its not a partisan issue at all. if someone is nutty enough to take part in a mock impeachment hearing, theres little doubt that that person has said numerous nutball things and this is nothing but a pattern of absurd claims, theories, etc.

THE 9/11 COMMISSION DID NOT TAKE ON THE QUESTION OF IRAQ WAR INTELLIGENCE.
