I've seen much about this proposed center at the WTC memorial site...a center from the blame-America first left that wants to attack the US and many things about us. Of course, if you've read the stories, you know it's clear that this is a whacko attempt at hijacking what should be a memorial to those who died and not a political lesson from the far left.
These people who want to hijack the center for their own twisted agenda claim to love freedom and the nation...but they truly hate both the idea of freedom and the United States and everything it stands for. To disgrace a memorial site with your attacks on the nation is just beyond the pale.
This outrageous mark is totally disgusting:
Now it seems that we will also have to suffer something called the International Freedom Center, a museum whose mission apparently will concern itself more with America’s purported stifling of freedom than its huge and actual contributions on behalf of same.
But don’t take it from me. IFC scholar/advisor Eric Foner, a professor at Columbia University and devoted lefty says of it: “One of the things that most annoys people in other countries is the idea that we have a monopoly on freedom. It will be salutary for the museum to suggest that America has sometimes fallen short of the ideal.”
