In the end, Risa was just another statistic...but also, another reason to be deadly tough on dead beat scumbag parents, gangs, drug pushers, and all other criminals. We get the scum off the street, they find it harder to peddle drugs to kids, the gangs find it harder to survive and lure other young people into taking up their violent, criminal lifestyles, the dead beat parents find it harder to abuse their children and get away with it. Just a sad, sad story...a needless death of a young person so full of promise, and why? Because of drugs, a tendency to drift towards an unhealthy lifestyle with unhealthy friends, broken homes, child abuse, and an overall desperation that comes from all of these things together, Risa never had the chance to fulfill her dreams and she never got to show the world that she could make a difference in the lives of others who suffered thru the same situations she did over the years.
It's just heartbreaking to see these types of stories.
