Texas State Senator a race baiting fool...

"I think it's a problem all of Texas has with having vigilante groups from other parts of the country come to our state to try to tell us how to run our business," said Democratic state Sen. Juan "Chuy" Hinojosa, an author of a resolution that urged Gov. Rick Perry to oppose Minuteman plans.

Eleven senators signed it, and Democratic state Sen. Rodney Ellis wrote Perry that Minutemen "are not welcome in Texas." Perry responded that he can't ban people from legal activity.

"He understands and appreciates the frustration that many Texans have with illegal immigration and its impact on national security, but ultimately this is a federal issue," Perry spokeswoman Kathy Walt said.

"I don't think that there's any doubt that there's a tinge of racism beneath the surface in their attempt to try to stop immigrants from Mexico," Hinojosa said. "Why don't they do that in Canada?"

He makes a fool of himself using the race card. How on earth is it racist to try to stop the flow of illegal immigration from Mexico? The Minutement have already announced plans to go to the Canadian border and do their thing, and clearly the bigger problem is on the border with Mexico!

He makes it clear that he supports illegal immigration. He also falsely accuses the project of being a "vigilante group," when he's obviously well aware that the project is in no way a vigalante group. The Minutemen in Arizona did nothing but alert law enforcement of illegals crossing the border.

Attacks on law-abiding American citizens as racists are not to be tolerated by any elected representative, and it's time that morons who make charges like these pay the price for their attacks.

Contact Senator Juan Hinojosa, and tell him to grow up and stop using the race card to attack Americans who are merely doing what the federal government refuses to do.

Do you know how to obtain or do you already have any type of bio info on Sen. Juan Hinojosa? I'm just trying to determine why or what he has to hide since he is soooo against the govt. enforcing the current law regarding immigration. He was quoted in the Fort Worth Star Telegram today as saying "We do not need them." These people (Minutemen)don't know what the heck they're doing."

i dont know anymore than what his website tells about him.

hes hispanic, and ive noticed that most of those who oppose the minutement in TX are hispanic...which says to me that theyre trying to keep the votes coming from the hispanic population, and those who arent in public office- well, why would a hispanic in texas support illegal immigration. a number of reasons im sure.

other that that, ive never heard of that guy and never seen him with any other natl issue.
