Most in media still distorting the gitmo/koran story...

That's the official release from the pentagon which explains the issue properly. Most of the news outlets have reported the story very poorly, and in most cases falsely. Few mention that in 1 incident a contractor (not a member of the US military) accidentally stepped on a koran, and then apologized...even so, he was fired after this. There have been few true abuses of any kind, and they are always investigated and those who are guilty have been punished (and will be punished in the future)- that's the way the US works. We punish offenders...we don't praise them as many other nations/groups do when any sort of "abuse" happens.
This issue is getting old fast, and Americans, I can guarantee you, are sick and tired of hearing about it. We're tired of anti-American, anti-military zealots out there attacking every single day on this issue...when, even their reports of the confirmed incidents are reported inaccurately, and the facts that are portrayed as they happen are tame as can be (a koran was stepped on? good god, the humanity!)
This also goes to further show how absurd and offensive the gulag statement from the anti-american Amnesty International really is.
