As I sit here listening to this tiny 9 band radio...trying to see if I can get any interesting stations...
ABC has 8 fully produced episodes of the critically acclaimed series EYES all sitting around, gathering dust, ready to air...but, it seems they're not going to air them. Why, I've no idea...the genius suits think that "reality" shows with dancing B actors is a better idea...that and repeats of the series LOST and ALIAS. And yet more "reality" shows with nannies and bachelors and whatever else these lame shows have going for them.
So so sad...Tim Daly was brilliant in this show, it was sleek and stylish, it was unlike most "cop" dramas (tho Daly's character headed up a high-tech, highly-paid investigation agency), and the writing was some of the best of its kind. Hopefully, we'll still see ABC air these episodes or maybe release the 13 produced episodes on DVD.
I will probably go see that new horror movie, High Tension tomorrow. It's a french film, but it's dubbed in English. Not even really sure what it's about- the trailer doesn't really tell you much at all, and all the commercials I have seen do little more to help figure any of it out. The first showing is at 1 PM, which is odd...usually most of the films start at 11 AM and around that time. I have to make a doctor's appt. early in the morning, and then I need to cash my check and see if Best Buy has that Quads DVD...buy it and the Home Movies season 1 DVD set as well.
I'm off...
