Dems now attacking CPB chair, demanding he step down...why? Because he wanted to balance out the left wing fringe show, NOW (formerly hosted by loony fringe member, Bill Moyers) with the Journal Editorial Report (with the editorial board of the Wall Street Journal). He also wanted to hire an ombudsmen for PBS to make sure there is balance in the programming.
Heaven forbid!!
Democrats always want you to think they're all about fairness, but when someone wants to merely make sure that fairness is the rule in this taxpayer funded venture, they attack...they only want THEIR brand of fairness- which is, see it our way or no way.
The funny thing is, Tomlinson doesn't support getting rid of NOW- not one bit does he support any such action, he just wants to make sure that PBS gives time to all sides of the issue! No one can deny that this is partisan stupidity gone insane on the part of the Democrats attacking Tomlinson. What are they so afraid of? What is Pat Mitchell so afraid of? I doubt few Americans in the know would call PBS a picture of fairness when it comes to the ideology...so what's the big deal? Is fairness and balance so foreign an idea to PBS brass? Is it such a foreign idea to dems like Ed Markey? It seems that might indeed be the case.
