Alert: Confession of Murder of AL Teen Not True Says PM

(253 Words) Posted at June 11, 2005 03:16 AM in Current Events .

Okay...very weird. The Prime Minister of Aruba has come out to say that the news alerts of one of the men in custody confessing to murdering the missing Alabama teen is a lie and that none of the 3 have confessed to anything.

First they reported it was a murder confession, then they changed that and said it was a confession of an accident and that "something bad happened" to Holloway. Now, they have changed all of that?!

They say that Aruba has very low crime and is a really safe place to visit, but the fact that the authorities are giving basically no information on this case, and really haven't released much information in general, that's very disturbing. How does a news alert from the associated press go out that alerts that a murder confession was made, then that was changed to an accident confession, and now it's reported by the officials that it was all a lie and no one confessed anything? That's far beyond disturbing...I can't imagine the media screwed up this bad, and that something fishy is going on down there. The fact that new media is covering this live, even tho it is nearly 4:30 AM ET is troubling as well...it usually means that there are no developments, yet last we heard before this new change in the story was that they were taking authorities to the place where the body was dumped.

VERY weird stuff going on with this case, and none of it is adding up...
