Yet another reason only a fool would support the absurd notion that we give POW status to terrorists...you're not allowed to interrogate a POW. Terrorists HAVE to be interrogated to get intel on the terrorist plots that are meant to kill as many innocent people as possible...POW status would mean no intel, no lives saved, no plots thwarted.
Also- terrorists wear no uniforms, don't abide by any of the laws of war, and they attack civilians. The necessary distinction there beftween POW and terrorist...it has to be there, or else no one would have reason to abide by the rules of warfare.
The NY Times is pushing for POW status of terrorists...as is the international red cross. Two loon organizations that know these facts, yet they don't care. Innocent people are out at risk, but that's not as important as it is to push their agenda, no natter how twisted.
