XBOX: Manhunt, Castle Wolfenstein, and More
I ordered an XBOX from e bay...it included one game (return to castle wolfensten, tides of war), which I haven't played much yet...and another game that I ordered from a different auction called MANHUNT.
In MANHUNT you play Cash, a death row inmate actually put to back but brought back to star in a snuff film directed by an unseen villian (voiced wonderfully by Brian Cox). You go thru different levels killing the thugs in the world with you, trying all the while not to get killed yourself. You can use a number of different items to kill your opponents, including plastic bags, shards of glass, knives, baseball bats, metal wire, and more. There are guns as well, but I've only gotten to the point of using a nail gun, which doesn't even work that well if you ask me, but whatever.
The game is supposed to be very violent and very dark, and it is. It's decent fun, tho so far, you're just killing the same type of people the same way over and over and over...crazy that I'm tiring of killing people. Maybe a bit sad as well, but it's really not realistic in any major way, the graphics aren't like watching an actual murderer or anything, so I guess that's a plus!
Anyow...I like that it's somewhat difficult, yet easy enough to advance to higher levels once you get the hang of each level and make a good plan to kill your foes (the key to the game is being stealthy and hiding...sneaking up on your prey.) From the screenshots I've seen of the game, there are various different things coming up, but who knows what that all might be.
I was looking at games on EBay earlier last night, and I ordered World Series Baseball as well...$9.25 for the game and shipping total. Decent price, and I wanted a baseball game. Now, I need to get the Grand Theft Auto double pack (of GTA III, and GTA: Vice City), because really...I've played the Playstation versions, and I could merely drive around in all the different cars for hours and hours and have fun.
I made a small list of games I want to purchase...I also made an Amazon.com wishlist just for games.
