These immigration fools are amazing! O'Reilly interviewed a Denver immigration atty who says he doesn't want denver to turn over illegal aliens to ICE, only if they commit heinous crimes. The illegal who murdered the detective over the weekend and is now on the run, was picked up 3 times for driving without insurance, without a license, etc. Denver, like many large cities, refuses to enforce immigration law and turn over illegals to the feds. The attorney Bill interviewed said his reasoning was this-
He was afraid that if Denver alerted the feds of illegals, that would mean that "undocumented immigrants" (you know he's insane when he calls illegals this, and he can't be trusted on the issue), will be afraid to call the police if they're victims of crime.
So, what he's saying, and what O'Reilly pointed out is- he thinks cities should protect the rights and safety of illegal aliens as opposed to the rights of law abiding American citizens! The rights of illegals (who really have no legal rights) cannot supercede the rights of Americans who are here legally and abide by the law!
This policy is insane, and every major city needs to work to demand an end to these sanctuary laws. If police refuse to turn over illegals to the proper authorities, how can they have ANY justification in enforcing ANY laws? If an American citizen breaks the law, he's prosecuted...if an illegal alien who has no business being here in the first place breaks the law, he's cut loose. That's fair and sound policy?! Give me a break!
