Illegal Aliens Protest Legality! Runaway Bride, and Dumb TV Execs.

(841 Words) Posted at May 8, 2005 01:02 AM in Current Events .

Michelle Malkin reports on WHY we're all screwed when it comes to immigration. The open borders idiots (yes, they're IDIOTS...an open border is like asking...hell, BEGGING, to be attacked) protested a move to make it tougher for ILLEGALS ("undocumented workers" to much of the left) to get licenses in which to use to stay in the country, get any job, get benfits, etc.

The nineteen 9/11 hijackers had over 50 different state IDs...which shows you how silly the ID process is- in Maryland, you don't even have to prove you're a legal resident!!

So, these 'open borders/amnesty for all illegal aliens' fools are demanding that the state follow the law. ILLEGALS demanding the state hand them ILLEGAL ID's they don't have a LEGAL right to. Sadly, these people are completley serious with this nonsense.

The police were at the rally to protect the safety of the ILLEGALS attending. It took place at a public high school. So, publicly funded police protect illegal aliens BREAKING THE LAW by even being in the state, at a protest rally (by idiots) at a public high school, a talk show host who had press credentials was turned away and the police enforced this joke- this is insanity!!

Just wait for the next attack...the first attack was carried out by illegals, the next one will surely be carried out by people in the same situation, and the government STILL (3 years after) refuses to do ANYTHING about it. That disgusts me.

Jennifer Willbanks, the runaway bride...this woman is clearly lying. She claims she didn't plan any of this, yet she admits she bought the bus ticket a week in advance. She claims she never know ANYONE was looking for her, but only a nomad living in a cave would have missed this news alert! PLUS- Jennifer cut her hair to hide out. (She cut her hair in Duluth before she left town!)

She claims she took a taxi to the bus station, yet NO taxi driver says they picked her up...she had NO money on her, but she survived somehow.

So, we know she's a liar...

Even IF she has problems as she claims- that doesn't mean she should face charges. If this were the case, we'd allow EVERYONE to say- 'oh look, I'm sorry! I have problems, and I'm dealing with it!' NONSENSE. Charge this woman NOW.

I just saw it reported that Willbanks was once charged with shoplifting...add it all up. Charge her with a crime. And do it now.

Again...TV execs make no sense.

Eyes (not yet dead, but just about) was supposed to air this month, but it's off the schedule for the entire sweeps period (sweeps is a sham- corporate is all too ready to buy space based on ad rates that cannot possibly factually pan out), and the show isn't listed on ABC's preliminary June schedule either.

So, a July return, airing the unaired episodes (8 of them total) might be what happens.

Funny thing is- Alias (which is hailed as being genius and whatever, it has numerous seasons on DVD, etc) scored 8million viewers and Eyes kept 78% of that and got a 6 million viewing. So, for sweeps, what is ABC's idea? Air a ridiculous special of some series called Supernanny. Ugh!!! I can see the execs now, sitting around deciding stuff- gosh, let's cut the critically acclaimed eyes which kept nearly 80% of the audience from Alias, and let's replace it with a poorly made "reality" show about a nanny!! Genius!!!

Then, you have the buffoons over at Fox who had the genius plan to dump Life on a Stick for the Pamela Anderson series, Stacked. I saw 2 mins of this show, and I wanted to shoot myself. Then, they have 8 more episodes of Life on a Stick already PRODUCED, yet they replace it with RERUNS of the (unfunny) That 70's Show. How much more money could a rerun of a tired show like 70's make compared to BRAND NEW unaired episodes of Life? It can't be that much of a difference, and as always, the networks have no idea how TV viewers think. They say- hey, guys...we know you love your shows, but screw you! We've got episodes and we may never air em, how you like that?! Note to networks- BRAND LOYALTY is something you need to work on. You can't build a solid customer base when you consistently spit In the faces of your customers. You can't create shows, promote them to death, then axe them with numerous episodes unaired and then keep thinking those same viewers will come back for more. There's a thing called cable, and let's face it- cable is SO much more stable. Cable nets don't switch airtimes every single week, they don't axe a show without warning only to air a different show in its place out of the blue...broadcast nets could take a hint from cable and wise up when it comes to the viewers.

Unfortunately, I don't think the broadcast execs will EVER learn...

I liked your rants and as an old retired INS officer, Michelle Malkin has got it straight. It's not the border, it's the lack of interior enforcement that will doom any attempt to control the borders, and incidentally, it 20 million illegals, not 10 or 11 as officialdom would like you to believe.
