The reason everyone in government who simply refuse to deal with the problem of illegal aliens-
29 year old Ronald Castellanos shows up at the house of Mary Nagle (north of NYC), as part of a power washing company there to clean the porch...he kills the mother of two, then takes her cell phone, calls the numbers saved in the phone and taunts family and friends about the murder.
Castellanos overstayed his tourist visa from 4 years ago and has been on the run ever since.
In 2002, Castellanos was arrested for beating a woman, but the judge let him go...he never showed up for court. Later, Castellanos somehow got a California drivers license (the state of CA is out of control), which allowed him to get a job with the power washing company.
This is an epidemic. CNN recently reported that nearly 35% of the prison population in the US is composed of illegal aliens, and some reports estimate that somewhere around 30-40% of illegal aliens received taxpayer funded welfare. So, they cause a drain on our economy and they make up a large portion of the prison population...illegals continually commit crimes and judges continually refuse to be tough on them, often times letting them go, so they can go out and commit even more serious crimes (like murder, as was the case with Castellanos.)
This is why no sane American can lobby for an open border, and every American MUST stand up to groups like the mexican american groups who so often support illegal immigration and disguise it as compassion...we must also fight groups like the ACLU who are constantly supporting this type of illegal behavior and demanding that we allow groups to come into our nation illegally and without cause. You will recall the ACLU sent "legal observers" down to "monitor" the minutemen to make sure that none of the illegals "rights" were being violated- (it should be noted that under the law, illegal aliens have no rights...rights in US laws are given ONLY to use citizens.) It should also be noted that some of these legal observers for the ACLU were photographed rolling and smoking marijuana (which is, of course, illegal- they support illegal immigration, why not go a step further and commit an illegal act and smoke some pot?)
The problem is huge, and too many people don't see that. Still, most in government seem to be refusing to do their jobs and protect the homeland by keeping out those who wish to come here illegally. This murder is an example of why it's vital that we no longer allow our leaders to sit on their butts and do nothing about the issue.
