WHY oh WHY are the only ones demanding that the jihadists get geneva convention protections, lawyers, etc. fools at the LA Times, the NY Times, and "human rights" people?
Human rights people scare me...they obsess over the nonexistant rights of terrorist suspects, who are NOT COVERED under the convention, yet they don't seem to care about the rights of peaceful people who will put in harm's way if we tear up the Geneva Convention and say- okay, you guys wanted protection, we'll write up a brand new treaty that gives you protection with lawyers, no interrogation, etc.
That is insane!! It's just scary that these people demand this sort of thing...and you have to wonder why it's ALWAYS the people who work for human rights groups. What is it that is so inherently backward in the world of human rights organizations that causes this thinking? I cannot even begin to fathom it.
I say we give all the prisoners lawyers, ban interrogation, never uncover terrorist plots or thwart any plots thanks to terrorist intel, etc. We'll allow all of them into US courts, give them high powered attorneys (is Mark 'I want to be on TV' Garagos available?), Well make a new Court TV spinoff channel (jihadist court tv 24/7 coverage of the terrorist trials!), and then we'll wait for more attacks, since we'll be banned from finding out anything from these thugs.
These people are nuts.
