The case of the finger a woman claimed she found in her chili from Wendy's has been solved. The finger tip belonged to an associate of Anna Ayala's husband, after the man lost the finger tip in an industrial accident.
Ayala, a Vegas resident, claimed she bit into the finger in a bowl of chili at a Wendy's restaurant while visiting San Jose, California. She hired a lawyer and planned to sue. She appeared on Good Morning America and numerous other shows, stating her disgust at having the finger in her mouth, attacking those who claimed it was a hoax that she started, saying that she never had anything to do with it.
Ayala was interview numerous times by local Vegas stations, and she claimed innocence each time. She was arrested on charges related to the case, as well as other charges unrelated to the case.
Now, it turns out, the case has been solved and we know where the finger came from. The authorities are looking into the numerous charges they can file against Ayala and her husband, who was apparently involved in the hoax.
Wendy's offered a $100, 000 reward to anyone with information that could solve the case, and the company lost millions due to the hoax...authorities are looking into charges related to the loss of revenue as well.
I said from the beginning- this lady was lying. Now, we have the ultimate proof, and Ayala can no longer claim her innocence.
