To add to the last post...I just noticed they mentioned Cindy Sheehan, the idiot mother of fallen soldider Casey Sheehan...took part in the speech with Stewart, where she told the audience that recruiters trick naive 18 yr olds into joining the military. She's said numerous idiotic things before, so this is nothing new...she constantly demeans what her son lost his life for, and she disgraces his memory.
Sheehan also said that the US is basically evil and that this country isn't worth dying for...that all we have done since we started this nation is terrorize others. She said it's not a war ON terror, but a war OF terror and that Bush killed her son. She also claims the following:
We have no Constitution. We’re the only country with no checks and balances. We want our country back if we have to impeach George Bush down to the person who picks up the dog sh-t in Washington! Let George Bush send his two little party animals to die in Iraq. It’s OK for Israel to have nuclear weapons but we are waging nuclear war in Iraq, we have contaminated the entire country. It’s not OK for Syria to be in Lebanon. Hypocrites! But Israel can occupy Palestine? Stop the slaughter!
Disgusting and vile rhetoric coming from the mother of a fallen US soldier. She proves that she cared nothing about her son, or she wouldn't be attacking what he fought and died for. You go into the military and die for your country, and then your mother claims that the president killed you, that the US is an evil empire with no freedoms or liberties and no constitution, and that the war you died in was illegal and immoral. That's the very definition of NOT caring about your son or his memory, and she should be ashamed of herself. Not to mention, she's an anti-American scumbag who should be sent of to one of the nations lead by REAL terrorists (as she likes to claim Bush is), and then see how much she likes it. After a few rapes, a few torture sessions, we'll bring her back to the US and ask her how she feels then.
No matter how bad she feels for losing her son, her stupidity is unwarranted. I wish she would just shut her mouth and go away for good, because she is simply shameless.

It turns out, Sheehan is also a liar...she was quoted as saying:
“We have been so betrayed by this president. He has lied to us. He has betrayed my family. He betrayed my son."I think the American people need to know that we have been betrayed in this rush to war.

"Our only goal is to have people understand the human cost of the war and how devastating it is to lose a child to a lie, and what an awesome person the world lost."
Of course, Bush never lied to anyone, nor did any member of congress on the issue of war in Iraq. Bush never made any claim that Iraq was involved in 9/11, and all intel services around the globe agreed that Hussein had stockpiles of WMD. PLUS- there were NUMEROUS reasons given to go to war...maybe part of the reason being the nearly 20 UN resolutions that Iraq ignored.
So, Sheehan lies about Bush and the war in Iraq...and she also lies about her son as well. She claims that her son was tricked into the military, that he was told he would be an army chaplain and never go to a war zone. Turns out, her own quotes come back to bite her in her lying ass...

While one might dismiss some of Sheehan’s hyperbole due to grief over her son’s death,a little research about Casey Sheehan revealed that contrary to being tricked by military recruiters, Casey Sheehan had re-enlisted in the U.S. Army voluntarily when he was 24-years-old, after serving his first hitch successfully. Casey Sheehan was in fact a hero who received a Bronze Star. He was attached as a mechanic to the artillery division of the 1st U.S. Cavalry in Iraq. When a convoy of soldiers from Casey’s unit was attacked in Sadr City by insurgents, Casey volunteered to join a rapid rescue force to get them out. His commanding sergeant told him he did not have to go into combat, because he was a mechanic and not an infantryman. Casey was quoted telling his officer, “I go where my chief goes.” He was tragically killed during the rescue attempt. The source for this story? Cindy Sheehan herself.
In truth, Sheehan VOLUNTEERED to go into a war zone when he was told he didn't have to...clearly not the actions of a man who was "tricked" into joining and going to war. According to another source:
First Sgt. Carson reported that “word got around (at Camp War Eagle) fast that the patrol was in trouble.” He said that their public affairs officer, Captain O'Malley, said this:"They had guys who normally don't fight who volunteered to help their buddies. There were guys fighting to get on that convoy."
This is substantiated by the mother of Spc. Casey Sheehan. She has said that:“And the sergeant said, 'Sheehan, you don't have to go,' because my son was a mechanic.' And Casey said, 'Where my chief goes, I go.'"
As you can see, Sheehan contradicts herself and exposes herself a liar in her quote here.

Where does Cindy Sheehan get her information from? If she is so unhappy with this country and its administration, than she should leave. I understand that she lost her son and that might be upsetting, but I doubt Bush put her son on a plane to Iraq against his will. After reading some of her nonsense I have determined that Cindy Sheehan is an uneducated housewife with nothing better to do. She should concentrate on possibly consulting a doctor to treat her schizophrenia. Perhaps some medication will clear up her delusions about the American govt., history (we DO have a constitution), and what it means to be patriotic.

Also, how can you say that he was "misled " by intelligence? If he was then why were the people not brought to justice. If he is honest then he has to be incompetent. So incompetent or dishonest, either way he is not presidential material.
As a classmate of Casey, I urge you to act on your opinions. The age of enlistment has been raised to 39. Please, please visit your local recruiting office and put your money with your mouth is.

yes. when a woman spits on the memory of her son who died in service of his country, its fine and dandy...when that same woman joins up with nutjob radicals (including numerous communist groups) and attacks the US and the US military, thats also fine. when that woman makes outrageous and false claims against the US and the military her son died fighting as a part of, thats fine as well...
when someone points all of this out, its "evil."

Newsflash, people! Sheehan's vicious lies about her country, the events surrounding the 12+ years leading to the second Iraqi war, and her own son's service shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone! Why feel so astounded that she would stoop to lying about her son's re-enlistment? This is the American Left--when have you ever heard anything but lies, slander, racism, class division, and hatred from the Left? That's their calling card. "False but accurate" is the mantra. How do you expect any honesty from people who still believe Bush called Iraq an imminent threat? Thomas Sowell summed up the intellectual divide between the Right and Left beautifully when he said that the two great wars of the last century were fought between those who tried to fit reality to their theories and thos who tried to fit their theories to reality.
