The homosexual agenda...Pushing hard, even when they have all their facts wrong.
The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLESN) has made new commercials with Matthew Shepard's mother talking abouw how the two men who killed his sons were taught in school to hate (an absurd claim that they learned ANY hate from their school, I'm not sure that schools in this country really teach ANYTHING, let alone hate), and that they killed her son because he was gay.
BUT...
ABC News uncovered the truth in regards to that claim. The two killers came out to expose the truth (along with the girlfriend of one of the killer's at the time), and they said- it was never about him being homosexual. They merely used this as a reason to invoke sympathy and get off free.

The murder was about drugs and money and greed, the killers say (along with others who they told the truth to when and before the murder too place.) They were two scumbags looking for a drug fix, and Shepard was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Shepard's mother is still using her son's death as a tool to push forward an unpopular agenda. MTV is backing this deplorable effort. I say, why let facts get in the way when you have a big agenda to keep pushing?
