Proving Harry Shearer is desperate beyond belief...as are the Hannity attackers. I transcribed the clip that (unfunny) "comedian" Harry Shearer aired on his show of Hannity talking to nurses who filed affidavits, which means they swore under oath (Shearer wants to imply on his show that all of these nurses are lying about Terri Shiavo) in regards to Terri's wishes and her husband's actions. The nurses were guests on Hannity and Colmes, and the clip was recorded during the break before the segment with the nurses...
Shearer plays this clip and claims that Hannity told the nurses what to say. Of course, when you KNOW what was said, you easily see that Shearer is making a lame attempt at attacking Hannity and the women, and no one did anything wrong or improper.
First, we need to remember that Sean Hannity doesn't do a straight news program, he does news analysis where he discusses news events and gives his opinion. Also, Hannity makes no attempt to hide his political leanings, nor does he ever try to hide his opinion on the issues. That's what analysts do in this regard.
Next, in regards to the clip itself, we need to see that Hannity isn't coaching the woman in what to say to push an agenda...he is merely calming the nerves of a woman who is nervous to go on television, PLUS, Hannity is calming her nerves about one specific item. She asks if Alan Colmes will try to embarass her about her credit check? I'm not sure what she's referring to, and I will look into this, but clearly Hannity is doing nothing but helping her on what to say if Colmes does try to use what amounts to a lowdown tactic to attack her character...Just tell him that she's here to discuss what she saw and that's it, not to discuss other issues ("silliness"). Hannity did nothing wrong but help a nervous woman who was afraid Colmes would use personal information, irrelevant to the topic, to attack her personally. If this is all the left has, they should just give up right now...
If this is what Shearer airs on his show, no wonder I never even knew he had a show to begin with. With such audacity to claim that this is "coaching" a guest and telling her what to say, I have a feeling very few people will know he has a show, and it'll stay that way...In the end, the whole attack on Hannity is shameful, but Shearer makes it clear that shame isn't a common emotion for him.

words outside of parentheses are those of hannity and the words inside parentheses are the guests (not sure if its one or two different guests, cannot tell a difference in voices.)
HANNITY: hey guys...(to someone passing by possibly?) trudy, were you a nurse? you were a nurse that took care of her right? how long did you take care of her?(2 and a half yrs)
HANNITY: 2 and a half yrs? wow...good to see you guys
(good to see you again)
(pause in recording...a bit later)...
(is he gonna embarass me about my credit check?)
HANNITY: i have no idea, ya know...but just, you know what. just say, 'thats not why im here. im here to tell you what i saw.' this is what...no matter what the question, im not here to deal with...'im here to tell you what i saw.' thats it
(alright, okay)
HANNITY: 'what i...im here to tell you what i saw.'
im not gonna be distracted by silliness. thats it. just dismiss it.(distracted by silly...?)
HANNITY: silliness.
(oh silliness)
HANNITY: hows that? does that help you?
(okay...what camera do i look at?)
HANNITY: i know...i know you dont wanna do this, but thank you. i know...the both of you. it was important. you did great. thank you...very much. you really did...its important. we got the points out. its hard, this isnt easy.
(inaudible reply from nurses)
At the end, Hannity merely told the woman they did a good job and got their main points across...there is absolutely nothing wrong with this either, tho Shearer and others have tried to attack this as well.
