Eleven Killed in Iraq- Chopper Shot Down by Terrorists

A helicopter carrying security officers protecting diplomats in Iraq was shot down with a missile by terrorists in Iraq today. The Islamic Army of Iraq (there goes that religion of peace again!) has claimed responsibility. They videotaped the wreckage and found one survivor lying in the grass near the downed chopper. They helped the man up and then he turned around, walked back one way and then turned back around to face the men and they started shooting him in the chest...he fell to the ground and they kept shooting bullets into his lifeless body.

Malkin included part of the news story in her post, and since it's the most relevant, I'll simply paste in the same section she used.

Eleven people, including six Americans working for a North Carolina private security firm, were killed Thursday when a commercial helicopter was shot down by missile fire from insurgents north of the Iraqi capital, officials said. Bulgaria's Defense Ministry said the Russian-made helicopter was downed by missile fire and the victims included a three-member Bulgarian crew. Two Fijian helicopter security guards were also on board the flight.

In Washington, State Department spokesman Adam Ereli said the six Americans were employees of Blackwater Security Consulting - a subsidiary of Moyock, N.C.-based Blackwater USA - and were assisting the Bureau of Diplomatic Security in protecting American diplomats in Iraq.

"They played a critical role in our effort to bring a better way of life to the people of a country who have not experienced freedom and opportunity for many years," Ereli said.

Besides, I doubt there are any kids coming to this site anyhow)...I want you all to see the face of evil. The evil that we're fighting in Iraq and around the world. This is also for the pacifists and peace hippies who refuse to face this evil head on. You look at this and the actions of these monsters, and then you TRY to tell me destroying these madmen isn't the answer.

And, of course, the liberals are completely unhinged and insane with this...leave it to the left to hate America and the people doing the work over in Iraq. Contempt for contractors, contempt for our military, these people disgust me.

Thanks to Little Green Footballs (via Michelle Malkin's site Thanks also to In The Bull Pen for reporting on this as well.) for the look into the dark minds of liberals...This is made quite evident at Daily Kos (home of the left wing bloggers and mentally unstable commentors). Most of the comments there are from America-hating wimps who would probably be better over in France or maybe somewhere worse- say China. The way they talk about the dead is amazing...

This Markos Moulitsas Zúniga (aka Kos) is one sick bastard. He's so anti-American and anti-military, you'd have a hard time find anyone anymore pathetic. Here is a quote from this genius in regards to the killing of the contractors in Fallujah in mid 2004:

Let the people see what war is like. This isn't an Xbox game. There are real repercussions to Bush's folly. That said, I feel nothing over the death of merceneries. They aren't in Iraq because of orders, or because they are there trying to help the people make Iraq a better place. They are there to wage war for profit. Screw them.

This is an enemy that knows nothing but violence. Islamic terrorism is the number threat to the security of our entire world, and the left attacking the current policy needs to realize that...the peace hippies who refuse to support any action to take out these monsters need to realize it, and the pacifists need to wake up and understand that only force will work with these inhuman beasts.

In regards to the media coverage of this...it seems that NBC showed the footage but stopped before the actual killing, and some agree with that. I disagree a bit...I think showing the full brutal killing is what is needed. To simply wake most Americans up out of their stupor. In the same way the polls showed declining support for the Iraq war, I think Americans, overall, are not kept 100% informed on the evil that exists in the fight on terrorism. I think too many Americans want everything to happen and then to end, and it must be done now...quick, hurry, get it over with, so we can go on about our average lives. What most of them don't understand is- you cannot have that attitude and be expected to win what will turn out to be a very long war on terror. This won't be over quickly or in a hurry, and millions need to be knocked over the head with footage like this to make them see that it's nowhere near over, and the evil that exists is just mind boggling. I would have shown all the footage personally...

UPDATE: I didn't notice this before...but hate-filled Barbara Boxer actually writes posts for the hate-filled daily kos site. Amazing that anyone could vote for this woman who clearly despises the United States as much as she does. I just have to say it again- Boxer is an embarassment to the entire Congress, the entire federal government. She's a lying, clueless, idiot who has nothing but contempt for the US, the US Armed Forces, traditional values, the family, and everyone most of us stand for. If you live in California and can vote for her- make sure you don't...let's send this hate-filled woman packing and let's make sure she never steps into the Capitol building again.

Excellent post,Josh.You hit the nail on the head,as usual.Barbara Boxer and the hateful beasts at kos and elsewhere,are complete whackjobs.Try as I might,I can't figure out how or why they believe the things they do.No love or loyalty to anything,just this hateful,evil desire to go against and destroy all good things.Kinda reminds me of the Kingdom of Amalek.An entire society of athiests who believed in nothing,and cared for nothing but the complete destruction of the good and decent peoples around them.I'm certainly not saying all athiests and agnostics are evil.Not at all.But I am saying that all liberals are evil,even if they don't realize it.I don't think they intend to be,of course.But the things they say,and do,and wish to see done,are certainly not good.

And you also very right in saying these horrible images should be viewed by everyone.I began feeling the same way after watching the Daniel Pearl murder video 3 years ago,and seeing how it affected me.If there is a man or woman who can watch even one of the beheading videos,and continue to say "islam is peace" and "this war is wrong",then they are NOT human.These images and video's ain't pretty,but they are the brutal truth,and show the true face of our enemy.We should all see the monstrous actions of our enemies,before rushing to forgive them and think we can "reason" with them.

i blogrolled that site you mentioned. actually never heard of it before. sometimes lately i feel like im getting information overload- SO many sites dealing with the topics i deal with, and absorbing all the information from various sources seems a bit daunting sometimes.

i need to check out that site further in a bit. read thru parts of it earlier. im always interested in what muhammed said, so i can more easily show that the guy was a true madman...which disproves and kills the entire religion in my view. the guy murdered people, thats enough to void the entire religion he started if you ask me! muslims just dont seem to understand that and keep claiming its a religion of peace...its like saying a religion manson started could ever possibly be a "religion of peace" its BS.

boxer proves her stupidity all the time. there was no evidence to suggest bush didnt win the 2004 election, yet boxer calls it a sham and actually cries when hes certified the winner of ohio. it shows that she hates democracy and the rule of law. its also an embarassment to congress overall. i just keep wondering how the idiots in CA keep electing her and pelosi...and in MA, kennedy...and so many others. these voters are people i would avoid if i crossed their paths on the street!

thanks for the comment about the change i made. i wanted to make it easier for random and casual visitors to see who runs the site and learn more about me and my views (as for me, my gut wont be showing up on any of my pics either! i could probably create an entire new pic with JUST my gut...damn do i need to work out :) )...now i need to totally overhaul the ABOUT ME section to go along with the change. when i started the site yrs ago, it was mostly personal info with politics blended in...im trying to change things to where its clearly a political blog with some personal stuff thrown in the mix every so often. ill admit that being a nobody in the world of political websites bothers me a bit, which is why im trying to upgrade and improve. would love to get the site to some popularity where youll stop by and see 100 comments on a post. striving to be better i guess...
