Aaron Brown attacks O'Reilly and Fox News, insults Christians

The whiny Aaron Brown of CNN went off on a tangent about Bill O'Reilly during a recent speech. The speech was about the media and covering the tsunami, so I'm not sure why on earth he went off topic to attack O'Reilly and Fox News in general...

I actually can't find the quote from him via google news, but I did record some of Fox and Friends onto DVD a bit earlier where they discussed it and I will find the quote in a bit.

Brown attacked O'Reilly because of his reporting on the fact that Christ is being taken out of Christmas. Brown asked who the hell cares about this, and that it was only news to the viewers of Fox News (I should note that, in the ratings, he loses everynight to Fox News' On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.)

Brown's attack on Fox News viewers is a lame attempt at publicity to raise his sagging ratings. If you can't beat 'em, attack 'em, I guess is his belief. He is clearly mistaken when he says that no one but Fox News viewers care about the outright assault on Christmas as well as Christianity in general...considering that at least 75%+ of Americans consider themselves Christian, I'd take a guess and say that tens of millions of people care, and tens of millions of people don't watch Fox News at any given time. We can safely assume, with the number of Christians in the US, that the majority of Americans care about this story, and Brown has no idea what he's talking about. Can someone say 'bitter'?

O'Reilly reported on this last night as well, and he pointed out that Brown attacked Fox and said that the Christmas stuff wasn't really news...but, O'Reilly noted that on last night's show, Brown's idea of news was- former hitmen now in the witness protection program. Because EVERYONE cares about that, of course.

It seems that many in the media have this Fox News jealousy. They have controlled the media so long with their liberal bias, and now Americans are tuning out and turning over to Fox, and they can't stand it. Their ratings keep sinking, and Fox's ratings keep going up. All of this should say something to the media elite- your time is up. Get over it and move on. These lame attacks won't help your cause at all. This will hurt Brown- it has to. I know, personally, I will never watch his show again (I care about Christmas), and I guarantee you there are millions of other Americans out there who feel the same way. So, I guess I say- keep up the attacks Brown and others like you, you're speeding up your demise.
