Kofi Annan is a corrupt man. When asked if he will step down for the good of the UN, his reply was, "hell no." So, Annan is an arrogant, smug, and corrupt man.
You will remember, this is the world body that the democrats are in love with. Headed by a man who has been involved in so many scandals, even the UN staff made it clear they have no confidence in him. Why won't Annan step down? Because he has a cushy job making lots of money with tons of perks...he's selfish, he's greedy, and he's one of the bad guys. The bad guys don't look out for the good of the organization, they only look out for themselves.
It's time the US pull out the $7 billion + a year that is taken from taxpayers and given to the UN. It's time the UN be kicked out of NY and the US in general...this organization is dead, everyone knows it, but too many (especially the democrats like John Kerry who worships the UN) refuse to accept that fact. A world body that is made up of despots, communist regimes, and terrorist nations is a farce, which is why we need to get out of the UN now and stay out.

nothing to do with the current topic? you do know that kerry ran for president, right? you do remember that kerry was the biggest cheerleader for demanding the US ask for approval from the UN before acting. this WAS the guy who said the US had to meet a "global test" before acting to defend ourselves or do anything, i assume. we know the UN is full of despots, terrorists, and communist dictatorships-and we also know the democrats, especially John Kerry, talked nonstop about how we needed to be with the UN or not act at all...those two don't go together at all. it defies simple logic.
