Vanessa Kerry- No College Under Bush?

Vanessa Kerry (John's daughter- I believe she's the one who wore the see-thru dress at the Cannes film festival with her nips hanging out, how classy!) was just on MSNBC and took the dumbest question from Chris 'the hack' Matthews (cannot stand the guy)...he asked her how her dad keeps this focused zen-like attitude with all this pressure (I assume he thinks Bush is going insane? Maybe I missed this!)

Anyhow...Vanessa talks about how her dad has traveled the country for 2 yrs (as opposed to being in Washington doing the job he gets paid GOOD taxpayer money to do- or not do, as is the case), and he's talked to so many people who have said they pray he gets elected so they can have better lives (under Bush, it's just so bleak...dark, cold, bleak, almost like communist Russia- oh the agony!) She said that so many people tell her dad- only if you get elected can I go to school. Bush has increased federal student aid by over 40%, yet no one can go to college from what she says (unless, of course, daddy gets elected. Yippee, daddy!) She also said that people say to her dad, please get elected so I can have a job again. Funny- the left praises ol' Bill 'I can't stop lying' Clinton as a prophet of the party, yet the unemployment rate is LOWER than when he was reelected in 1996 (5.6% then, 5.4% now under Bush...and that's not taking into account home based businsesses and jobs that would make a net gain of jobs of at least 1 million or so.)

Remember, if it wasn't so serious- it'd be hilarious. PLEASE elect daddy so people can go to school, work, and have food in their tiny little famished bellies. Gag me.

The Myth Kept Strong by the Pinheads at Americans United

The funny thing about Americans United?

They have the audacity to quote the 1st Amendment that they completely trash every day.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free
exercise thereof..."

This is the group that demands IN GOD WE TRUST not be said in school or posted anywhere in schools...demands we not allow federal money to go to any religious charities (faith based initiatives that help people are badddd to these people.) They demand that ten commandments monuments never been seen in public areas.

Read the law people-
CONGRESS shall make no law respecting an ESTABLISHMENT OF RELIGION, or PROHIBITING the FREE EXERCISE THEREOF.

With the help of liberals like Americans Clueless...I mean, United- Congress and other agencies HAVE violated the law by prohibiting the free exercise of religion. If demanding a school remove the national model isn't doing this, then nothing constitutes "prohibition"!! The law, as I have said many many times, applies ONLY to congress, not public schools or court houses or state governments...and congress is only stopped from making laws that (if you read the letter to the danbury church as Jefferson wrote it) establish a particular Christian denomination as the official US religion. These people completely steal Jefferson's term used NOWHERE in the US Constitution (separation of church and state- which doesn't mean what it's come to mean by liberal judges, and clueless conservative judges alike), plus- they've trashed his memory by demanding a ban on public religion (Jefferson was a christian who mandated all schools he opened would teach the bible- to use this man's ideas to pervert what he said to the danbury church is despicable.)

Congress has never made any law attempting to (as Jefferson promised would not happen) establish any particular denomination as the official religion, and as mentioned- the rule applies ONLY to congress and not courts, schools, public offices, state govt, etc. It's a bogus plan to destroy religion in this country, and the fact that a so-called reverend heads the group is downright scary. Ol' Barry and the rest of his AU cronies are as clueless as possible, and they're as dishonest as they possibly can be.

Too bad much of the media plays into the lies and the distortions, along with help from the misguided courts, public officials, and others.

Carlos Alazraqui- AKA Rocko, AKA Garcia

I love the Comedy Central series, Reno 911, and I also love the Nicktoon from the 90's, Rocko's Modern Life. I saw the actor who plays Garcia on some comedy show (I always knew his name...Carlos Alazraqui, but I never put two and two together until last night, when I said to myself- wait, this is the guy who did the voice for Rocko and Spunky, so I checked imdb.com, and what do you know- he IS the same guy who did the voices...

"Rocko's Modern Life" (1993) TV Series (voice) .... Rocko/Spunky/Rabbit

I've been watching the show for the 2 seasons it's been on, and I just figured this out. Weird.

Kerry Speaks Again of His New "International" Friendly Policy

YET AGAIN, proving he just DOESN'T get it...John Kerry spoke in New Hampshire today, and he told the audience that we had to go into this election knowing that it would be an international thing, that the whole world would be looking upon the voters to do the right thing (and vote for him)...that, the world would demand we go back to the american experience- one where we lead and not bully (Bush has bullied? If you believe that, have some more crack!), that we cannot mislead (here we go again with this word...how on earth did Bush mislead anyone? He did not...Kerry voted for the same thing with the same exact intel- which means, in Kerry's view, he's also a liar!)

The obvious problem with these statements is- we shouldn't care one bit what other nations want us to do in our election, or what they think of us (you'll never get the majority of the godless europeans to like us!), and the fact is- this is the US election and no one outside of the US has any business in it whatsoever. Kerry's views that we have to worry about what other nations think and we have to justify our actions to them is 1. idiotic and 2. dangerous as hell. He claims he'll never give any nation or international body a veto over US policy and action, but that's nonsense when you hear him talk everyday about how we have to think in an international way and how we have to justify our actions to other countries. This scares me personally, because if Kerry were to win, US policy would drastically change- and in a negative manner! Our policy would surely become much more lame- we would be forced into going with the "international" flow and appeasing terrorist groups and not fighting them before they get here on US soil...we would surely be looking at the end of pre-emptive attacks on those nations and groups who pose a serious risk to our safety, and like most of Europe and the UN, we would see an end to actually destroying terrorist groups. Europeans have dealt with terrorism on their soil for decades, and they've done almost nothing about it...the war on terror, you'll notice, only started as a world wide effort when we were attacked...Kerry doesn't understand that. Kerry doesn't seem to grasp the reality that European nations and the UN don't act- they talk, and talk, and talk, and talk...they pass an endless stream of resolutions that serve absolutely no purpose. We can't go convert to that dangerous European mindset with terrorism. With Kerry, this is almost a certainty.

As I've said before...the scariest thing might be the fact that, according to the polls, half of this nation wants to go over to this appeasement policy. The sad reality is, it will take another Sept 11-like attack to wake half of this nation up.

Kerry's Clueless Stepson: Bush a "Coke Head"

Chris Heinz...a brainless jackass, just like his mother. The people that vote for Kerry should think of this nonsense. These people are all out of their minds.
-- -- -- -- --
October 31, 2004 -- THIS campaign is ending just in time before someone gets hurt. John Kerry's stepson, Chris Heinz, 31, displayed his mother Teresa's famous lack of rhetorical restraint at a recent campaign event with a group of Wharton students. Philadelphia magazine reports: "Heinz accused Kerry's opponents - 'our enemies' - of making the race dirty. 'We didn't start out with negative ads calling George Bush a cokehead,' he said, before adding, 'I'll do it now.' Asked later about it, Heinz said, 'I have no evidence. He never sold me anything.'" Heinz also reminded writer Sasha Issenberg of Pat Buchanan by saying, "One of the things I've noticed is the Israel lobby - the treatment of Israel as the 51st state, sort of a swing state." Buchanan was blasted as an anti-Semite years ago when he cited Israel's "amen corner" in Congress.

A Post That Will Offend Mormons and Wtinesses Alike!

You know the scariest thing about Utah? Mormons! You know the scariest thing about Mormons? They actually violate a basic principle of Christianity by treating Joseph Smtih (who was a criminal and a liar) almost as if he were a second Jesus- a prophet who made many predictions (none of which came true- the world will end in the 1840's, my friends! whoops...change that...) Just flipping thru the channels and I saw BYU TV and the woman was talking about "prophet" Joseph...and it just reminded me of how crazy these people are. All Mormons out there- no offense, you're no crazier than the ol' witnesses who take their every cue from the watchtower and refuse to listen to anything outside of it (like, oh I dunno...the bible maybe?) So, don't feel bad, you're surely not alone!

Greg Palast Claims He Isn't Partisan- Yea Right

Greg Palast, as usual, made an ass of himself on Fox News' Hannity and Colmes. He claimed Republicans hate blacks and they're doing anything to make sure blacks don't vote...he mentioned jim crowe, knight riders, etc. He promises to Hannity, he's not a partisan- yet if you read ANY of his website, that claim is totally blown away. His site is nothing but a I hate Bush attack.

So pathetic. Why he can't just be honest, I've no idea...
------------------------------------
Also...
I went to see the new horror movie, SAW, today, and I must say- it was the scariest movie I've ever seen...along with it being the most disturbing movie I've ever seen. Some plot contrivances are present, but it's so good, they're easy to overlook.

John Kerry's New Global Test

John Kerry is out of his mind, and his latest comments prove as much.

You'll notice, he says that if he's president, he'll have to justify this nation's actions to the entire world...similar to what he said during the debate with the global test (where we have to show the world what we're doing and why, and prove that we have a legitimate reason for doing so.) He claims no nation or body has a veto over US action, but that's bogus, and his comments prove it.

If this man were to be elected, we would all be in real trouble. Remember, as Bush has noted- Kerry voted against the first gulf war- with that in mind, we realize that NO action could meet Kerry's test, and that, my friends, is scary.

Kerry Says Saddam 'Might Be Gone' Had He Been President
Fri Oct 29 2004 10:02:35 ET

NBCNEWS Brokaw interviewed John Kerry Thursday evening.

Brokaw: "If you had been President, Saddam Hussein would be in power."

Kerry: "Not necessarily."

Brokaw: "You said you wouldn't go to war against him."

Kerry: "That's not true. Because under the inspection process, Saddam Hussein was required to destroy those kinds of materials and weapons."

Brokaw: "But he wasn't destroying them."

Kerry: "That's what you have inspectors for. That's why I voted for the threat of force, because he only does things when you have a legitimate threat of force. It's irresponsible to suggest that if I were President, he wouldn't be gone. He might be gone, because if he hadn't complied, we might have had to go to war, but if we did, we would have gone with allies, so the American people weren't carrying the entire burden. And the entire world would understand why we did it."

Kerry Lies Again? (Gasp!)

Again, John Kerry first lies, and second- comes up with this insane statement that we must prove to the world what we're doing and must have all our "allies" with us before we take action. Mr. Kerry- the so called allies- they're NOT WITH US. They have said, they will NOT enter Iraq no matter what. Face these facts, and stop using our natl. security as a political tool. It's disgusting. Also, I guess we should point this out to you, since you seem to be completely clueless- the ENTIRE WORLD doesn't need to know a damned thing about why we do anything. We act to protect the US not the "entire world," and you claim you wouldn't give a veto to any other nation, yet you constantly say we must meet a test to show the world what we're doing, and that what we're doing is justified.

The inspections didn't work. They never worked...for over a decade, nothing worked. Action was what worked. Get that thru your thick skull. If you had been president, Hussein would still be in power, and you know it. Just admit as much, and shut up.

The Radical and the Reactionary

THE RADICAL AND THE REACTIONARY
By Jeff Jacoby
The Boston Globe

Thursday, October 28, 2004

Bill Clinton was back on the campaign trail this week, a fine embodiment of the stakes in the 2004 election.

Still recovering from his open-heart surgery, the last Democratic president seemed a bit gaunt and not quite as boisterous as the shameless old rogue we got to know so well during the 1990s. But the familiar good humor was there, and so was the charisma and the engaging sunniness. A huge crowd turned out to see him in Philadelphia, where he rather cheerfully painted a picture of good times gone bad since the accession of George W. Bush. When he embraced John Kerry in a bear hug, the message could hardly have been clearer: *Things were better under Clinton, and they can be better under Kerry. Return to the policies of the 1990s, and we'll all feel good again.*

And there in a nutshell is the choice in this election: Forward with Bush into a difficult future, or backward with Kerry to the familiar ways of the past. It would be an easy decision, except for one thing: The familiar ways of the past led to Sept. 11.

Kerry is a liberal Democrat, but in this campaign he is running as a reactionary: as one who wants to reverse course, to go back to the attitudes and practices that guided US policy when Clinton and the elder George Bush were in office. The younger Bush may be a Republican, but he is running this year as a radical. Profoundly transformed by 9/11, he sees the old playbook as feckless and dangerous, and is determined to set a revolutionary new course.

Kerry's words confirm his Sept. 10 mindset. Asked by The New York Times this month how 9/11 changed him, he replied: "It didn't change me much at all." On CNN in July he said, "What American would not trade [for] the economy we had in the 1990s, the fact that we were not at war and young Americans were not deployed?"

But of course we were at war during the Clinton and Bush I years, and we repeatedly came under attack -- at the World Trade Center, at the Kenya and Tanzania embassies, at the Khobar Towers barracks, at the port where the USS Cole was docked. We were at war, but only the enemy was fighting.

Bush II looks back on the 1990s as a period of tragic complacency: "Most Americans still felt that terrorism was something distant, something that would not strike on a large scale in America," he said in New Jersey last week. "That . . . attitude is what blinded America to the war being waged against us. And by not seeing the war, our government had no comprehensive strategy to fight it."

For Kerry and his entourage, however, all this war talk is overwrought. A key adviser, former ambassador Richard Holbrooke, impatiently dismisses the notion that America is in a real war with a real enemy bent on global domination. "The war on terror is like saying 'the war on poverty,' " he snorts. "It's just a metaphor."

Kerry himself, embracing the pre-9/11 view of fanatic Muslim violence, has repeatedly insisted that the conflict with the jihadis "is primarily an intelligence and law enforcement operation," not a military struggle. "We have to get back to the place we were in the 90s," he told the Times -- back to viewing terrorism the way we view prostitution and gambling: "a nuisance" that "we're never going to end . . . but we're going to reduce."

To Bush the radical, 9/11 shattered the illusion that the Islamofascist terror can be controlled with indictments and criminal lawyers. And it shattered as well the belief that terrorism could be beaten without draining the swamps in which it breeds: the dictatorships and theocracies of the Muslim Middle East. "Terrorists thrive on the support of tyrants and the resentments of oppressed peoples," Bush said last fall. "When tyrants fall, and resentment gives way to hope, men and women in every culture reject the ideologies of terror, and turn to the pursuits of peace."

From that insight springs Bush's campaign to democratize the Middle East, beginning with Afghanistan and Iraq, and his rejection of the old "realist" policy of tolerating oppressive regimes in the name of stability. "This approach brought little stability and much oppression," he has said, "so I have changed this policy."

And Kerry the reactionary would change it back. He argues that "the goal . . . is a stable Iraq, not whether or not there's a full democracy." He told The Washington Post that if elected, he would, in the Post's words, "play down the promotion of democracy as a leading goal." In a Kerry administration there will be no effort to modernize the Middle East with freedom and pluralism. Democracy? "You can't impose it on people," Kerry says.

Bush asserts the right to attack enemies pre-emptively; Kerry emphasizes diplomacy and deterrence. Bush sees the United Nations as obstructionist; Kerry accords it deference and great respect. Bush is prepared to act unilaterally when US interests require it; Kerry cites the "global test" that any American action must meet. In this first presidential election since the Twin Towers fell, Americans have a momentous choice: the reactionary "realism" of a man who says 9/11 didn't change him, or the radical urgency of a man who says 9/11 changed everything.

Are Kerry's Discredited Attacks Hurting His Chances?

I love it. In the last week of the campaign...John Kerry, clueless as ever, jumps on a bogus NY Times/CBS story (Bogus CBS story? No way!), and starts attacking the American military as incompetent (his words masked what he really meant...he attempts to blame the president for imaginary explosives, yet he's ultimately attacking the soldiers on the ground who DID the searches themselves. John Kerry attacking the military? No way! Maybe this time, he'll pronounce Ghengis properly.

Because of this bogus story and the attack on our beloved military, plus Kerry's refusal to apologize for using the already discredited story, many pundits think this will really hurt him. The numbers, as I have read them, seem to be trending that way...and it has to be related to this in my opinion. You can't attack the military with a bogus story a week before election day and think you're going to get away with it and come out totally unharmed by your comments that are complete stupidity at best.

Bush leads or is tied with Kerry in every current national head to head poll, and many of the swing states are leaning Bush. Most projection sites have the electoral count going to Bush...and many out there have said that when voters get into the booth, many of them who would vote for Kerry might vote Bush because of this new bogus reporting. We have seen that the voters who have voted already are going more for Bush and the overseas military votes will be a large margin for Bush...also, it seems from the current numbers that those voters who were considered undecided are leaning toward Bush, and many who have voted early have voted for him already. Good news for the President.

It is still scary tho that so many Americans are clueless to the point where a man like John Kerry will say anything to get elected...he'll shamelessly attack the military's efforts in Iraq, he'll attack the president with bogus stories, I'm not sure there's anything Mr. Kerry WOULDN'T do to get elected. That itself is a frightening thought, and the fact that millions of Americans support this guy is even scarier.

Again, CBS is Leading the Way in Pushing Bogus Stories

I will repeat it...It's time we keep up the CBS boycott.
http://www.boycottcbs.com/

First the bogus memos, now new attacks on Bush...while other networks back away from the almost surely bogus story of missing explosives being there when US forces came in- CBS is pushing the story as hard as they were the memo story. You think clueless Dan Rather and his goons would learn, but clearly that's not the case.

The news media that is doing all they can to oust the president needs to feel the pain from the consumer, and CBS is a prime target for the punishment that needs to be handed out.
------------------------
AS REPORTED BY THE MEDIA RESEARCH CENTER: (Oct 27, 2004)

1) Following the same strategy employed when CBS News came under
fire for the forged memos, on Tuesday night, while other news
outlet backtracked from their initial Monday night reporting on
how 377 tons of explosives went missing in Iraq under the watch
of
the U.S. Army, CBS plowed forward. With "Where Are They?" on
screen, Dan Rather teased: "Senator Kerry blasts the President
over those tons of missing explosives. And where are they?"
Later,
Rather declared: "Those missing explosives in Iraq are much more
than a headline or a political wedge issue. They are very real,
very powerful, and possibly in the hands of anti-American
guerrillas or terrorists." CBS acknowledged the political damage
the Monday hyping had done to the Bush campaign, though the
network also revealed that the IAEA had blocked destruction of
the
very stockpile. NBC's Jim Miklaszewski provided a through
rundown
on the possibilities of what happened to the explosives while
Tom
Brokaw was on the defensive about what NBC reported Monday
night,
claiming the Bush campaign mischaracterized their story. CNN's
Jamie McIntyre picked up on the proposition Hussein moved the
explosives before the war. FNC's Brit Hume talked to Dana Lewis,
who was embedded with the first troops on the scene.

2) Assuming facts not in evidence. Tuesday morning on CBS's
Early
Show, Harry Smith argued that the explosives missing in Iraq
have
"been made into bombs that have targeted U.S. troops." But
later,
on the CBS Evening News, David Martin would only go as far as to
relay, over video of an explosion, how "David Kay, who once
headed
the hunt for weapons of mass destruction, says after this
bombing
outside a mosque in Najaf, investigators found traces of the
same
kind of explosives."

Dems Start Lawsuit Nonsense, The Truth about Edwards, and New Reagan Movie

The dems have already started their legal nonsense in Florida.

This is pathetic.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --

Check out this site for the truth about John Edwards and the trial lawyers who are so close to him. The guy is a millionaire from what were often bogus lawsuits that hurt doctors, which in turn hurt families and economies...does Edwards care? Unlikely...as is the case with most of these deals- the trial lawyers sue for big bucks, taking the cases worth the most money, and then- they get most of the cash, and the families are often times left with very ltitle if anything at all. And sometimes money is won in these cases on bogus claims, pseudo-science, you name it. It's shameful, and the guy running for vice president is part of it all.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --

Check out this new film about Reagan and how he fought the Soviets, ultimately destroying that evil empire.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --

And, finally...

Keith Olberman is a bully who, along with that hack on the same network, Chris Matthews, attacked Michelle Malkin...now, he's obsessed with Bill O'Reilly, often employing a clock at the bottom of the screen that counts down to when they will report on the O'Reilly suit. He also has a weird fund that he's got going on his show and his MSNBC blog to buy tapes no one knows exist (doubtful they do, the woman has totally been trashed in the media as a stalker and a phony.) You think that maybe his obsession comes from the fact that O'Reilly often gets nearly a 4 rating, and Olberman gets less than a 1? His show does nearly as bad as Dennis Miller and McEnroe on CNBC.

Lies About Bush Being Sent Around to Scare College Kids

More lies about President Bush. This time, scare tactics aimed at college students.

The Truth

this flyer is BS. first- raising min wage, bush IS against, but doing so hurts the lowest trained among us. the economy will keep a certain number of low skilled workers, because the fact is- the min wage is sometimes all their skill level is worth. raising min wage puts many of these low skilled workers out on the street, because the overall economy cannot bear the burden withhigher wages that dont match the skill level...so businesses are forced to shed jobs and make others take up the slack and pay them the same amt.

overtime pay, under the rules, would have changed the level at which people were paid overtime, and more people would have been added who would get overtime.

as for pell grants and financial aid- bush has increased funding for both, so the statements above are totally inaccurate. dept of education figures show the number of pell grants awarded the yr bush took office was 3.9 million...and in 2003 the number was 5.1 million, an obvious increase. spending on pell grants in particular was $8 billion in the yr he took office, and now the spending is $12.7 billion- a 60% increase.

the max pell grant aware has risen from $3, 300 to $4, 050 under Bush as well. He has promised he will raise it $1, 000 more for students who take demanding college prep courses in high school.

also, you should look into the official federal definition of "poverty." its not what you think it is. under the current definition, you can own your own house (own, payments finished!) and be considered living in "poverty."

clearly, whoever put this flyer out, is a dishonest outfit who finds it okay to spread disinformation and lies. not too shocking, but still sad.

Drudge Breaks Pre-Election Terror Tape Story

Drudge has a new report that says ABC has received a new terror tape from a man with an American accent...possibly Adam Gadahn, who says there will be a new terror attack that will dwarf Sept 11...that the streets of America will run with blood. ABC has given a copy to the CIA who hasn't been able to authenticate the tape yet, and it seems to be considered of low concern overall.

Funny Club For Growth Kerry Flip-Flop Ad

The club for growth has a really funny ad on John Kerry's refusal to commit to a position on nearly any issue. The flip-flop title is accurate, let's just be honest about that.

Anyhow, the ad was made by David Zucker (who made Airplane and The Naked Gun films), and it's honest about Kerry's indecision, but also very funny at the same time.

As the ad says:
“THERE’S NOTHING WRONG WITH A LITTLE INDECISION
. . . AS LONG AS YOUR JOB DOESN’T INVOLVE ANY RESPONSIBILITY.”

CBS Planned on Pushing Another Bogus Bush Attack Story

I think it's time to bring back the CBS boycott. According to new reports, CBS wanted to spring the phony story of missing explosives (missing BEFORE US troops arrived) on Oct 31, in an obvious attempt to sway the election. Let's make CBS feel the pain for their bogus stories and their unamerican activities. Yes, unamerican- lying, distorting the facts, attempting to sway the electorate on phony evidence- that is, indeed, unamerican.

Moveon's Newest Dishonest Attack Ad

Moveon is at it again with new lies from their new ad. They claim that Pat Robertson told Bush there would be casualties in Iraq (no kidding?!), and Bush said 'nah, there won't be any casualties in Iraq.'

Does anyone in their right mind believe the BS that Bush said that no one would die in Iraq? Get real. Even die hard moveon idiots can't buy this absurd claim.

Then, they say that Bush said 'mission accomplished,' tho he never SAID that...the banner, which was placed there by the military (not Bush) read that. The fact is- it was mission accomplished in a manner of speaking. They had accomplished the mission of toppling the regime in Iraq. When on earth did moral boosting for the troops on their amazing ground war become so wrong?

The ad also claims millions of jobs were promised, and there weren't million. If you look at the overall numbers, there was a job gain- the numbers don't take into account home based workers or home based businesses, of which there are millions. Add millions to the 600, 000 figure (of supposed job losses), and you have a job gain. Not to mention- every leader is hopeful that jobs will be created, yet no one can predict the economy like this, and the president has very little to do with the overall economy outside of regulating tax levels, so it wouldn't honestly matter either way.

The ad, like all of moveon's stuff, was nothing but distortion and dishonesty. Not shocking from this radical group, but still just as disgusting.

More on Bogus Explosives Story Touted by Kerry and Mainstream Media

More info on the explosives in Iraq that NBC reports were missing BEFORE US troops even entered the country. Don't worry tho- I guarantee you, Kerry will keep using this as an attack, and claim it's all true, even when he knows it isn't true.

Same thing he did with the Tora Bora claim...even tho Gen. Tommy Franks, who ran that entire campaign said Kerry's grasp on the facts was all messed up, and that none of his claim that Bush "outsourced the job" to afghan warlords was true. US troops were with the Afghans who HAD to be used because they knew the rough terrain...plus, Pakistani forces (tens of thousands of them) guarded the Afghan, Pakistan border, tho Kerry claims no one was guarding the border.

Kerry Tries to Sound Normal Again, and Flubs Again

The biggest question is...Mr. Kerry, is ANYTHING about you real? According to what I have read...Kerry talks about music in the Rolling Stone interview (you remember, last time he was interviewed by that magazine, he dropped the F-bomb and a few other naughty words, I believe...gotta look hip for the younger crowd, I assume?) Anyhow...in this new interview, he says "My favorite album is 'Abbey Road.' I love 'Hey Jude.'"--yet it turns out, Hey Jude isn't on the Abbey Road album. If that's his favorite album, shouldn't he at least know one of their most famous songs isn't even on it? It lends to what I've been saying- everything about John Kerry is bogus, and when he lies to make himself seem more like you and me, he continues to fail miserably.

Jimmy Carter's Living in Lala Land

Neil Cavuto's commentary on the failure-of-a-president, Jimmy Carter, on his show today was hilarious. He DOES come off as a bitter old man, and he's been that way for a long, long time. This guy was probably the worst president we ever had, and he thinks its his place to lecture EVERY American leader ever. He's a joke, and it's nice that Cavuto calls him out for his constant bashing of all his successors.

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,136564,00.html

-------------------------------

I am completely convinced...more than I was before. Jimmy Cater is a total nutjob. First, the fact that he gave an interview to the anti-American Guardian newspaper is bad enough, and the fact that he bashed Bush throughout the entire interview is worse...but, his statements are just insane. For example, in the interview, he says this about the Iran crisis (you'll recall, Americans were taken hostage in Iraq on Carter's watch, and he never got them released- that was the work of Pres. Reagan. Plus, Carter started much of the Islamic terrorism stuff when he screwed the shah in Iran and allowed the even more brutal, even more anti-American govt to take control.):

Carter rejects the worst criticism that could be made of his administration: that his alleged
softness in the face of Islamist terrorism helped nourish the threat that culminated in today's al-
Qaida.

"I don't think that's an accurate assessment. "The entire Islamic world condemned Iran. Nowadays,
because of the unwarranted invasion of Iraq by Bush and Blair, which was a completely unjust
adventure based on misleading statements, and the lack of any effort to resolve the Palestinian
issue, [there is] massive Islamic condemnation of the United States."

Unwarranted invasion? This coming from Jimmy Carter, the biggest wuss who ever served in the White House. A man who is so perverse in his do-nothing thinking that he probably wouldn't even send American troops if full out world war erupted.

The Palestinian conflict? You mean, Bush refuses to work with international terrorist, Arafat? Yes, Mr. Arafat- let's work to solve this problem. What? You hate all Jews and demand that the state of Israel be destroyed? Well, still...surely you can work on peace with these people, and hide those feelings right? Yes, Mr. Carter- it's a shame we won't negoiate with terrorist leaders for peace deals that soon turn into twisted bribes. You promise to give us this, this, and this, and MAYBE we'll stop blowing you up. Maybe. If you do nothing, we'll still blow you up. Carter, sadly enough, is so backward, he probably doesn't realize a resolution can only come AFTER Arafat is dead and gone.

As for his statement about Iran and how the Islamic world were all against their actions...the guy is not only nuts, he has no memory. The Islamic world was, in general, civilized before the 1980's? They didn't do a thing to help Carter (and he was too bumbling a man to do anything himself), yet his role in allowing the regime change in Iran, and the hostage crisis, hasn't caused the chaos we have today? You have to wonder if this guy is living on the same planet as the rest of us.

Scariest thing about all of this...John Kerry might even be worse than this guy. At least Carter is consistent with his insanity.

The Left's Hypocrisy on Rice

This is how desperate the left in this country is. They're attacking Condi Rice for giving speeches about security issues for the administration. They're saying that she's taking her eye off the ball by doing this, and they're saying that these are federally funded campaign speeches basically. The Bush camp says this is silly, that she's merely going out and talking to Americans about security issues.

Forget that...and remember this. John Kerry and John Edwards are both federally paid senators who have missed scores of votes while campaigning. As mentioned by Cheney in the Veep debate, Edwards' hometown paper calls him "senator gone." A few groups have started petition campaigns to force both senators to resign, because they have refused to do their jobs they're being paid for. They have spent a year campaigning and being paid for jobs they're not even in DC to do...yet the media, for the most part, makes no mention of this, and the left has the audacity to attack Rice for giving a few speeches.

Amazing.

Kerry Camp Refuses to Admit Explosives Truth

By the way, I just realized- the outfit that reported the supposed missing explosives in Iraq? The Bush-hating liberal newspaper, the New York Times. When will people who read this garbage paper realize that they have zero credibility? This is just one more example of their bogus reporting, and just one more example of how liberal they really are. Disgusting...

I'll wait for tomorrow when all the news outlets should report the correction to this story, and report it for JUST AS LONG as they reported it today...I won't hold my breath that many of them will actually report the facts and the truth that these weren't there when we came into Iraq to begin with.

I note to all of you that Joe Lockhart is a partisan liar and cannot be trust either...especially since he was informed of the facts on this issue, yet said this about the matter:

Top Kerry adviser Joe Lockhart fired back Monday night: "In a shameless
attempt to cover up its failure to secure 380 tons of highly explosive
material in Iraq, the White House is desperately flailing in an effort to
escape blame. Instead of distorting John Kerry’s words, the Bush
campaign is now falsely and deliberately twisting the reports of
journalists. It is the latest pathetic excuse from an administration that
never admits a mistake, no matter how disastrous."

Shameless?!!! You mean, like when someone sees the facts, yet reports the exact opposite (read- LIES) to make political gain?! This guy is outrageous!!

Lockhart has proven that, like his boss, he will say anything, no matter how untrue, to get ahead. Mr. Lockhart, you are a scumbag and a shame to the American system.

NY Times and Kerry Lie about Weapons Cache that was Missing BEFORE US Even Entered Iraq

John Kerry attacked the President again, on the issue of a missing cache of explosives at a base in Iraq...saying that the president was warned, yet refused to secure the site...that this was yet another in the long line of blunders made by the president. It turns out, as I'm sure Kerry was well aware, the stockpile of weapons has been missing over 18 months...when the US troops came into the location, the cache was already missing.
NBC News is reporting this.

In a time of war, John Kerry, is attacking the American troops ultimately, claiming it was their job to protect the supposed cache (it wasn't there to begin with) and that ultimately it was the US military that failed, led by the president. Will the dishonesty ever end with this man? It seems fitting he made this attack on a day that he campaigned with former liar in chief, Bill 'Pants Down' Clinton. When Kerry loses on Nov 2, it is my hope he resigns from his senate seat. We cannot have American leaders who use lies and distortions to attack out current foreign actions. You can disagree, but what this man is doing is unamerican. American leaders have no right to attack others (especially the president) with stuff they know is bogus...they cannot use lies and misstatements against our policy, because such lies hurt all of us.

Kerry's Bogus Claim of Meeting with Entire UN Sec Council Shown to be Bogus

John Kerry claimed that before he made his Iraq war vote...he met with all the members of the UN security coucil. The Washington Times reports that sec council members deny ever meeting with Kerry, and that they have contacted others from the nations UN mission- and no one else has talked to him either. Now the Kerry campaign has backed away from the claim that he met with all the members themselves...they have changed their story to say that Mr. Kerry has private meetings with officials, yet refused to say who these people were or from what nations they were from.

Mr. Kerry is often aided by top secret closed door meetings that no one can know the details of...you'll remember, earlier in the campaign, the senator claimed that he spoke with a number of foreign leaders, and they all said that they wanted him to be elected president (as this article also details)...tho, again, as was the case this time, he refused to name any of those leaders who supposedly supported him, and has never come forward with anymore information- tho, he still stands by the ridiculously bogus claim (especially since he doesn't ever meet with foreign leaders, as was reported at the time of this statement.)

Mr. Kerry might have trouble with such claims, considering that news just came out that a number of world leader's support Bush in the election, including the Japanese PM, John Howard of Australia, Putin of Russia, and others. The only Kerry supporter I'm aware of is Cuba's dictator, Castro.

Kerry, who claims he's all about honesty, is having a tough week when it comes to that. He makes bogus claims of meeting with every sec council member, tho we see this isn't true...he stages a phony goose hunt in Ohio which has been mocked by nearly everyone, and he staged a photo op where he sat around watching his so-called favorite team (the red sox- tho he named his favorite red sox player, and it turns out this "favorite player' never even played for the red sox) and drinking a beer with friends. This isn't a good week for honesty with this campaign, and we're only 8 days out...that says a lot about the candidate who says his presidency will be known by the fact that he always told the truth to the American people.

Ashlee Simspon Makes SAT Night Live History (in a bad way)

That was funny...Bill McCuddy on Fox and Friends showed the clip of Ashlee Simpson (the untalented, bitchy, slutty sister of Jessica) on Saturday Night Live...for her second song, she was standing on stage, and oops- the RECORDED track started, making it clear that she doesn't sing live for one...and two, she had no idea what to do, so she started dancing around like an idiot. The band tried to save her by playing a filler, but she kept dancing like she was insane...then after a moment, walked off the stage, and they were forced to go to a commercial.

Then, at the end of the show, she had the gall to blame the band, saying- my band started playing the wrong song, so I had no idea what to do.

Way to sell out your band by blaming them for your having no vocal talent, and having to lip synch. If you've seen any of her MTV show, you'll understand why she had no problem doing this...the girl (who is 19, I think) is one of the biggest brats you will ever see, selfish as can be, and nearly as dumb as her sister.

It's always fun to see annoying spoiled kids make fools of themselves tho.

John Kerry, a Beer, and Baseball (he's a real guy, they promise!)

Hi. I'm John Kerry. I'm here in Ohio...a "swing state," and I'm sitting on a couch watching the Red Sox (my team! at least when they're doing so well, they're my team! or I'm trying to pander for votes!) Anyhow...look at me. I have a camera crew here, so you all can see me watching good ol' baseball with my friends, like a normal guy. What? Oh this? This is a beer...see me drink my beer, like an average guy. Average Americans like me drink beer while watching baseball (just like all of you! What a coincidence, you say? Nah...I'm just a normal guy, and I feel your pain. Cause I'm average, just like you!)

What? My favorite Red Sox player? Oh, I'm a HUGE fan of the Sox, and my favorite player ever is definitely Eddie Yost! What?! Eddie Yost never played for the Red Sox? Wait a minute...let me call a one of my staffers to see what player is my new favorite (hopefully someone who actually plays for the Sox- remember, my favorite team! Go Sox!)....

Okay. My new favorite player is Manny...wait. I'm not sure how to say his last name, but I'm certain there's a Manny somebody or another playing for Boston. Right? Right?!

Well, thanks for sharing this time with me. Just me, John Kerry- the normal everyday guy, and you...the American voter (especially you shlubs in Ohio and other swing states!) Thanks for sitting with me and sharing my beer and my love for the Boston Yankees...errr, Red Sox. Go team!

HIV Comic Character Nowhere Near Reality

This Real World Judd guy (from season 3 in San Francisco) has written a storyline where the Green Arrow (in the comic) gets a new 17 yr old female sidekick. A 17 yr old girl with HIV. Really stupid idea if you ask me- who in their right mind wants to read comic books about characters with AIDS. He says that it closely mirrors reality- his friend from the MTV show, Pedro, was a gay man who was infected with HIV at the age of 17.

Big problem in his claim that this closely mirrors reality. The girl in the comic is a 17 yr old runaway and former prostitute. So, of course, she'd be a likely candidate for becoming infected, right? Wrong. Studies on prostitutes in major cities have shown very little chance of these women becoming infected. Why? Because their clients are almost always straight males...and straight males have very little risk of becoming infected thru vaginal sex. They have a higher incidence via IV drug use, but the biggest culprit is homosexual activity between two males. This is why Pedro became infected, and it wasn't that shocking...a 17 yr old girl who has intercourse with straight males has little chance of ever becoming infected with the disease, because the straight males act as a barrier.

Buy into the PC B.S. if you want, but HIV is still usually a homosexual disease- the largest percentage of people in this country with the disease are males who have sex with males...some women who have sex with bi-sexual males, and IV drug users. Like I said tho, straight males act as a barrier to the disease, which is why it's not anywhere near an epidemic here in this country. Character in comic books like this are another example of scare tactics aimed at young people, who really have very little chance of becoming infected if they stay away from the biggest risk factor- male to male sex! Very simple...stay away from that risk factor, and your chances of getting the disease are almost nonexistant. These scare tactics are worthless, because it's just that- scare tactics based on what is, in general, disinformation and highly flawed reasoning. MTV uses these tactics all the time, making it out as tho the disease can infect just anyone who does anything sexual, and the chances are real...considering the disease affects less than 1% of the population, this idea is silly. Scarign kids into thinking there's a significant risk is just irresponsible, and it's not reality. Attempting to say that such a character in a comic closely mirrors reality may even be more ridiculous.

Scary Godmother

scary godmother halloween spooktacular

This 47 min movie aired on Cartoon Network Thursday night (I think it was Thurs)...I watched it late last night (Thurs night/Friday morning) from the DVR. I thought it was really good. It's clearly a movie aimed at a younger audience, but I really enjoyed the CGI animation- it had a really interesting look to it, really bright colors and lighting, the town looked as tho it was part animated one way and part animated a totally different way- I guess you'd have to see it for that to make sense. It was really beautifully animated, and that was cool. The characters- a little girl and her cousin, his friends...along with a scary godmother (a witch who appears out of nowhere to meet the young girl)...a bunch of "monsters" who come to the godmother's Halloween party- the vampire family, a bugaboo, the wolfman who kept eating everything, a skeleton (who sounded like a Jim J Bullock character), and a couple others who rounded out a very nice mix of personas.

Basic story of the little girl who is scared, left in a dark scary house by her older cousin on Halloween night, dared to go inside to appease the monsters in the basement with candy. A scary godmother appears and flies the girl to her magical house with her skeleton roommate (who wears a suti and a top hat), and they throw a Halloween party, and she shows the girls that monsters aren't so bad afterall- they're actually all very nice and friendly. Some of the stuff is completely aimed at a younger audience, while some of the dialogue is actually grown up enough to sit thru and enjoy...even the kid stuff is sophisticated enough to make it all really nice.

I'd really like to see more stuff animated in this style...especially Halloween-related animation which is usually really cool overall.

On another subject (sorta)...I want to see that movie, SAW. I love horror movies, and this one looks interesting, tho from what I read- the plot has major holes in it, and that might not be good. It comes out Oct 29, I think. I also want to see TEAM AMERICA, but never got around to going last week like I planned...and SHAUN OF THE DEAD- tho I'm not even sure if it's still playing.

(Idiot President) Jimmy Carter: Revolutionary War "Unnecessary"/Iraq a "Quagmire"

Probably the WORST of all our former presidents, Jimmy Carter (left wing loon, who wouldn't have agreed that taking on Hitler was a good idea) said the following on MSNBC's Hardball:

CARTER: Well, one parallel is that the Revolutionary War more than any other war until recently has
been the most bloody war we’ve fought. I think another parallel is that in some ways the
Revolutionary War could have been avoided. It was an unnecessary war. Had the British Parliament
been a little more sensitive to the colonial’s really legitimate complaints and requests the war
could have been avoided completely and of course now we would have been a free country now as is
Canada and India and Australia, having gotten our independence in a non-violent way. I think in
many ways the British were very misled in going to war against America and in trying to enforce
their will on people who were quite different from them at the time.

The man is so far out there in his no war nonsense, that he believes even the Revolutionary War in which this very nation gained its independence was an "unnecessary war." He might be even crazier than Bill 'Lewinsky' Clinton. The very fact that he called Iraq a "quagmire" was irresponsible enough. No former president has the right to speak out against a current military action during a time of war, if you ask me- you can't have former leaders attacking the current policy when men are women are in harm's way like that. The enemy sees this, and they use it against us...supposed European allies (many who have been indicted in the oil for food scandal) will use statements like this against us as well. The guy is just clueless, and it's quite scary that he used to actually be the president!

Guardian Admits Defeat, Yet Declares Victory

Anti-American British "news"paper, The Guardian has made a bogus claim of "victory" with their ridiculously hateful letter writing campaign where they gave readers addresses to people in Ohio, and had them write these voters to try to sway the election. Due to thousands of returned letters, complaints, and the like- the campaign was halted...tho, they claim it was due to problems with what they call "right-wing hackers" (whatever that means!)

This was a stupid idea from the start, and like many voters in Ohio have said:

BUTT OUT BRITS.

Kerry Camp- Make Kerry Look More Real with Phony Activities?!

Why does ANYONE do this? John Kerry pandering by going hunting, in OHIO of all places...is just absurd, and no reasonable person will see this without laughing at his desperate attempt for votes. The country wants a REAL person, not someone who sets up bogus hunting trips thru his campaign...this isn't theatre, it's real life- something Kerry clearly is unaware of.

Why on earth did Mike McCurry come out and admit this was a staged event (as if we didn't know anyhow), and talk about how Mr. Kerry is showing he's a real person by doing this, and "talking about his faith" and "his beloved Red Sox."

First off- how on earth doesd this admittedly staged event show Kerry to be a real person? Secondly, even tho the Red Sox made a big comeback, and it's a great story for all their fans- why did McCurry mention Kerry's "beloved Red Sox," when it was shown that Kerry was phony even about his love of the Red Sox as well (he said his favorite sox player was Edddie Yost- who never even played for the Red Sox, plus he misnamed a couple of other players he supposedly loves as well)...his phony love for the hometown team shows how FAKE he is, not that he's a real person. Not even to mention the fact that when he threw the first pitch at a Sox game in July, he was booed!

Then, McCurry says Kerry will talk about his faith- tho he's come under attack from major catholics for his stance on abortion (which is forbidden by the church, yet Kerry supports), plus, his stance on gay marriage- he's against it, but is for civil unions. Plus, you'll recall Kerry said odd things about religion in the debates. He said that with abortion- it would be wrong for him to legislate with his faith, tho right before that he said his faith affects everything he does, and that he bases his environmental policy on his faith (it's okay to base your decisions on the enivornment and the economy on your faith, but wrong to do so in general, as you claim. That ALMOST makes sense!)

Three activities where we know Kerry is completely phony, yet this is what McCurry stages to show that he's a real person? I'm not sure who is crazier- Kerry or his staff!

O'Reilly Accuser Has over $100, 000 in Debt

I told you when this first started- this woman is a liar, and she wanted money. Everyday, a new story comes out about her being in bad debt and doing bizarre things...now, drudge has a story saying she's in big time debt (as you can see below), and the evidence is mounting against her.

You think a woman making $93, 000 a yr for Fox News would have more sense than this...guess not.

O'REILLY ACCUSER DEEP IN DEBT

**Exclusive**

The DRUDGE REPORT has obtained O'Reilly accuser Andrea Mackris' financial records which show a combined debt of nearly $100,000!

FOXNEWS producer Andrea Mackris, who filed a multimillion dollar sexual harassment suit against top talker O'Reilly earlier this month, has I.O.U's scatted throughout the financial world, records show.

Mackris was making $93K a year when she returned to FOXNEWS in 2004 [she earned $69,088 in 2003], but records dated October 18 show she holds more than $37k in credit card debt, and $62k in student loans.

"It appears Ms. Mackris was living way beyond her means," a source close to the situation told DRUDGE late Thursday. "She's up to her eyeballs in debt."

A spokeswoman for Mackris' attorneys, Morelli & Associates, said the firm was unaware of their client's heavy load and laughed off any suggestion her financial burden was a motivation for a cash demand from FOX.

Mackris, 33, and her attorney have been ordered to appear for a hearing in New York State Supreme Court next week to divulge whether sex phone tapes exist and "show cause" why they should not be opened to examination by lawyers for O'Reilly and FOXNEWS.

President Bush has increased science funding for many national organizations by 44%, he has increased funding for research into nano-technology, and he's the first president to make federal funds available for embryonic stem cell research, yet today John Kerry said Bush is an ideologue who is hindering science and actually taking science backward instead of forward.

You have to wonder if there's anything this man won't say, no matter how untrue, to get your vote.

Halloween Banned- Political Correctness Gone Insane

I wrote about the school official who refused to allow a PA high school under her control to have their marching band play for the President on a campaign stop...saying that if she allowed the band to play- it would be too "partisan" and that it was wrong. I wrote her a nice e mail telling her how bad a decision I thought she made, and that saying it would be partisan to play for the leader of our nation was absurd...she wrote me back saying she was sorry I didn't agree, and that anytime outside of the campaign, she would be happy to have the president come and have the band play for him (he's not going to come to PA for no reason, and he surely wouldn't come to this particular school after this, so she basically robbed the kids of a once in a lifetime chance, in my opinion.) Now, I think it's time to write the superintendent of this school district in Washington state...where they have banned Halloween- saying that witches costumes and such would be disrespectful to local wiccans.

If that isn't crazy, nothing is. Political correctness gone mad, of course, and people that do this drive me up the wall...they're too uptight, too whiny, and they make everyone's life miserable.

School children are banned from taking part in any Halloween parties, parades, etc...we don't wanna offend anybody. BOO HOO.

Stop Moore from Swaying Electorate

Socialist, propaganda filmmaker, Michael Moore is at it again. He is attempting to use his lies to sway the upcoming election by offering free rentals of his thouroughly refuted piece of FICTION, Fahrenheit 911 at select video stores around the country.

If a video store in your area is taking part and offering the rental for free- go and get a copy and tell all of your friends to get a copy, that way all the videos will be gone, and we can assure that some uninformed voters won't see the film and buy into the distortions and lies. Mr. Moore has no right to try to sway the election like this, and as Americans, we should do everything in our power to stop him.

John Kerry Attacks Cheney (a heart patient) For Getting Needed Flu Shot

Americans, wake up!!! This man wants to be president!!!

John Kerry is now attacking Dick Cheney (who has a bad heart) for getting a flu shot!!! Kerry says this is wrong, and claims that it's do as we say, not as we do- but, Cheney never said he wasn't going to get a flu vaccine, and the president said that only those who are in certain categories should get it now (people like HEART PATIENTS like DICK CHENEY.)

One more piece of evidence that John Kerry and his lowdown campaign will do and say ANYTHING to get your vote.

This is just awful, and I am sick of it. There is no doubt in my mind- John Kerry is NOT a good person, and a man who would use attacks like these is not fit for any public office, let alone the highest office.

Also, a note to all Americans- if you fit into the category of needing a flu shot (if you're a heart patient, for example), do NOT get a flu shot. John Kerry won't allow the Vice President to get one, why would he allow you to get one? Do you not think he would be attacking everyone of you who need the shot if it was a political gain?

Kerry team slams reports VP Cheney had a flu shot
Wed Oct 20 2004 20:02:09 ET

Senator John Kerry's presidential campaign Wednesday slammed Vice President Dick Cheney, a heart patient, over reports he had a flu shot, despite a shortage of the vaccine.

The campaign complained that Treasury Secretary John Snow and Senate Majority leader Bill Frist also had jabs, despite Bush's advice that the young and healthy did not need to get an injection.

"Once again, the Bush administration proves that it is the 'do as we say, not as we do' White House," the campaign said in a statement issued in Pittsburgh where Kerry was campaigning.

"The very week that (health) secretary (Tommy) Thompson is telling Americans to keep calm, Dick Cheney, John Snow and Bill Frist are getting flu shots."

"It is unfortunate that the Bush administration failed to do the work necessary to ensure that all Americans, including those most at risk, had been able to get shots as well."

Cheney would fit into the government's definition of those most vulnerable to a looming influenza epidemic as he has a long history of heart disease.

Bush last week suggested in the final presidential debate that the young and healthy forgo the annual shot amid a shortage of vaccine that Kerry has blamed on the president's management of the health system.

Heinz-Kerry Offers Bogus Apology

It seems the Kerry campaign staff has forced Heinz into apologizing for her stupid comments. Truth be told, this is most likely a statement from the campaign, and Teresa probably had nothing to do with it, nor any word in what was said in the statement.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -
To: National Desk, Political Reporter

Contact: Sarah Gegenheimer of Kerry Edwards 2004, 202-464-2800

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 20 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Teresa Heinz Kerry released the following statement today:

"I had forgotten that Mrs. Bush had worked as a school teacher and librarian, and there couldn't be a more important job than teaching our children. As someone who has been both a full time mom and full time in workforce, I know we all have valuable experiences that shape who we are. I appreciate and honor Mrs. Bush's service to the country as First Lady, and am sincerely sorry I had not remembered her important work in the past."

---------------

You will notice that the statement, supposedly from Heinz-Kerry, (anyone else find it creepy she uses her deceased husband's last name?) says that she forgot Mrs. Bush was a librarian and a teacher (convenient memory loss, huh?), and she throws in the part about a full time mom...I suppose she forgot Mrs. Bush is a mother as well, and wanted to make it up to mothers everywhere who were today told they didn't have "real jobs" in raising children.

Hopefully American women will remember this statement on election day, and take into mind the fact that her husband surely can't feel much different- he DID marry her afterall, they have to be like-minded people (somewhat)...

Flashback: Kerry's UN Obsession in the 90's

This is very frightening. The words of John Kerry and defending the United States, and his obsession with the United Nations. Kerry might claim that no nation or body holds a veto in regards to defending this nation, but his record shows the opposite, and his words show that he is no being honest when he says this.

Kerry's belief in working with allies runs so deep that he has maintained
that the loss of American life can be better justified if it occurs in the
course of a mission with international support. In 1994, discussing the
possibility of U.S. troops being killed in Bosnia, he
said, "If you
mean dying in the course of the United Nations effort, yes, it is worth that.
If you mean dying American troops unilaterally going in with some false
presumption that we can affect the outcome, the answer is unequivocally
no."

You will recall that in the debate, Kerry said that the US must meet a "global test" in which we could justify our actions to the world. Those were his words, and he cannot deny them today. The truth is, come November 2, you have two very different men to choose from...a man who will demand that the US justify our actions to the world, a man who voted against the first gulf war, when Hussein actually invaded a neighboring country, or a man who has proven he will do anything he can to make this country safe, and will face any foe that might pose a threat...no permission needed from ANYONE besides the people of this country. If John Kerry were to be elected, this is what we would be in for...a very dangerous situation where we would have to prove to rogue nations across the globe that what we're doing is justified...that isn't just dangerous, it's insane, and with John Kerry- this is a certainty.

Heinz-Kerry Attacks First Lady

John Kerry's wife (who lied about calling republicans "unamerican," and when asked about this by a reporter- she told the man to "shove it," called those who differ from her husband's views idiots, called those who are against her husband "scumbags", is now coming out and attacking Laura Bush, saying that she doesn't think Mrs. Bush has ever had a real job. Heinz-Kerry, a billionaire thanks to the fortunes left to her from her FORMER HUSBAND (noting, she didn't earn her money) said the following about the first lady in an interview with USA Today:

"Well, you know, I don't know Laura Bush. But she seems to be calm,
she has a sparkle in her eye, which is good," Heinz Kerry said. "But I
don't know that she's ever had a real job — I mean, since she's been
grown up. So her experience and her validation comes from important
things, but different things."

Heinz Kerry said she sees her age as a benefit — she is 66 and Bush
57. "I'm older, and my validation of what I do is a little bit bigger —
because I'm older, and I've had different experiences. And it's not a
criticism of her. It's just, you know, what life is about," she said.

You decide if this is the woman you want as first lady. I'm guessing very few people would say 'yes, this is a woman I want in the White House.' Think about that come Nov 2.

Rock The Vote Head, Jehmu Green, is a Liar

Jehmu Greene is a liar. The executive director of Rock The Vote, one of the most dishonest voting groups around, a group that claims to be nonpartisan, yet their website as a basic attack on the Bush administration and a list of democratic talking points, is going around STILL claiming teh draft hoax is real, and that it is NOT a myth, it is not untrue...it's all very true. The recent vote in congress that killed the bill brought by democrat (YES, DEMOCRAT) Charlie Rangell, by a vote of 402-2...she claims that it was only brought to vote because it IS real (she claimed this nonsense on MSNBC Tuesday night), and that the vote was bogus and they only voted on it to make sure no serious discussion could take place regarding it (yes, genius...no serious discussing, since it's a scare tactic being used by the left, and it's not one bit serious, being that it's phony.)

I have noticed on the rockthevote.com site that the phony draft card on their front page (funny, their very front page kills the claim of non-partisanship) DID have the signature of Donald Rumsfeld, but I take it pressure from the web forced them to change it and now it shows the signature of Charlie Rangell (which doesn't make sense, considering he voted against the bill, even tho he originally brought it up with inaccurate military stats, claiming that blacks make up a disproportionate number of front line personnel...they don't, and DOD numbers proved him wrong.)

I was disusted by Greene's irresponsible, irrational, and dishonest remarks on MSNBC, and I think she's scummy for doing what she's doing. Instead of helping young people take part in the election process, she is only tarnishing the repuation of an entire age group that she claims to want to help. She makes all young people look silly when so many young people are out there speaking out, parroting her draft issue nonsense, as if it were a real issue and a true possibility, even tho it's been completely refuted.

proving that Greene is a liar, here is part of an Oct 14, 2004 editorial she wrote:

First, the bill that the House rushed to a vote was never intended to
address the current manpower shortages. Rep. Charles Rangel introduced
his bill before the Iraq war with the hope that political leaders would be
less likely to enter into armed conflict if their own kin were vulnerable to
conscription. He also wanted to draw attention to the inequitable burden
that Americans from poor and minority backgrounds bear in fighting the
nation's wars. The short shrift given these concerns by Congress was
more an act of political theater than legitimate debate.

As I mentioned, Rangel claimed that blacks were serving on the front lines in disproportionate numbers in comparison to the overall US population...but, dept. of defense numbers proved his assertion false (they showed that a larger percentage of blacks overall were in the military compared to the civilian population, but that a great percentage of these military men and women were in service positions and nowhere near the front lines), and as the head of a large voter group, she has to know this, yet chooses to ignore the facts and insert lies in her editorials.

She should be ashamed of herself, but as I always say- scumbags usually have no shame, so it's unlikely this will be the case.

Thankfully, I, and anyone else online who chooses to expose her lies, can make it known that she is, indeed, a liar, and that she's shameful in her actions as part of rock the vote.

Don't Allow Andrea Zinga's Tactics Win the Day

I urge everyone who will vote in Illinois for the Congressional race between incumbent Lane Evans (democrat) and Andrea Zinga (republican) to re-elect Congressman Evans, and make sure that Zinga's deplorable tactics don't win out.

Zinga, a former CNN anchor, has come out against Evans, saying that because of his parkinsons disease, he cannot do his job. There is no evidence that his disease has made it impossible to do any aspect of his job, and the use of the disease in this campaign is just wrong.

The following comments from Zinga are just disgusting, and there is no place in American politics for such ignorance.

“In this campaign, the simple unvarnished truth is that the congressman’s health now prevents him
being as effective a representative as the needs of the 17th District’s demand,” says 17th
Congressional Candidate Andrea Zinga.

Zinga says Congressman Evan’s has quote "had an undistinguished career" and that his Parkinson’s
has affected his responsibilities.

“There are jobs Mr. Evans can do, of course, but being a full-time, fully engaged congressman is
not realistic for a person with advanced Parkinson’s Disease,” says Zinga.

I don't know anything else about either candidate, and I don't care...All I do know is- tactics like these have no place in American politics, and anyone who uses such tactics has no place in public office.

More Nonsense from John Stewart

Told ya John Stewart was nuts...

(part of a media research center cyber alert, and I didn't even include the part where he attacked the Bush administration, talking about how absurd they are and how no one could get any worse...)

Stewart, at the Thursday breakfast event sponsored by the
New
Yorker magazine, also lashed out at columnist Bob Novak for his
column which cited Valerie Plame. In Friday's New York Daily
News,
Lloyd Grove quoted Stewart as charging: "He leaked a CIA source
for punitive reasons -- for ugly, partisan purposes." Stewart
complained: "There's millions of dollars being spent on this
investigation, and people are going to jail, but his evil is not
allowed even in the darkened abyss of his soul -- some would say
soul." Stewart grew even more vicious: "I would not have him on
the show. I have standards. I wouldn't do it. He shouldn't be on
television. CNN should not have him on the air. He should not be
amongst civilized people."

Two More Random Items

John Stewart, who used to be semi-funny has over time become insane. He sits there with a straight face and interviews admitted liars like Richard Clarke and others...he's interviewed on other shows and his radical nature almost always shows, and now this suff on CNN's Crossfire (with the even more insane Paul Begala- that guy is seriously nuts...there are no two ways about it.)

--------------------------------

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/3751544.stm

I've mentioned this before, but I find it worth repeating. I think this Robinson guy is trash. He talks about how he cares about the church and the members of his church, yet he does something that is expressly forbidden in the Bible...not to mention the fact that he defies the basic laws of Christianity (which forbid sex outside of marriage, and marriage is one man and one woman.) He's clearly a selfish man with a perverse need for power, and he cares nothing about the church or its members, and that is truly a shame.

Kerry Campaign Now Claims Bush is Responsible for Flu Vaccine Shortage, Plus More Bogus Draft Claims

I am so tired of hearing the Kerry team blame the President for EVERYTHING on earth. Not to mention everyone else who takes part in this charade. The president controls very little of what he's blamed for, and they all know it. They want to claim he pushed away allies, yet never mention the oil for food scandal, nor the public statements from Germany, France, and others that if Kerry was president, they STILL WOULD NOT bring any troops to Iraq and would not part in helping the US, the British, and others doing the job in Iraq. (Yes, the democratic team lives in a fantasy world where facts don't matter and they can substitute reality with their own version of it.)

Stephanie Cutter from the Kerry campaign on Fox and Friends this morning...

John Kerry blames President Bush for the shortage of the flu vaccine (George Bush clearly controls British drug companies now, accoring to the Kerry camp!)...Cutter confirms- it IS the president's fault.

Q: What would John Kerry do different to make sure this didn't happen? she's asked.

(Cutter kept saying the president was to blame for this, that he "sat on his hands," she claimed there was a warning in 2001 of a shortage [the current shortage is due to contaminated vaccine from a British company, so this 2001 claim is bogus], then E.D. from Fox kept asking her- what will Kerry do tho? Cutter kept saying, the president sat on his hands...BUT WHAT WOULD KERRY DO HIMSELF?!!

A: "He would find the vaccine." (She stops and says nothing else...you can almost hear the laughing in the Fox News studio at this absurd answer. The Senator from Massachusetts- the man who John Edwardas claims can help the crippled walk again, will find imaginary stockpiles of the flu vaccine! You have to wonder how this woman even looks at herself in the mirror every morning without thinking about how big of a joke she is.)

Q: But, how would he do that?!

A: He would get it somewhere. He would import it from Canada (not even sure if Canada makes the vaccine, and even if a Canadian company did- they could never get close to meeting US demand for it.)

This is the stupidity coming from this campaign. It would be funny if it weren't so serious.

Next, Bush will be blamed for the high price of evian water, the price of pork chops, and the poor human rights record in China. The attacks are old...the nonsense is even more so. If anyone in their right mind believes the president has control over what companies make a flu vaccine (as ED from Fox pointed out- many US companies refuse to make vaccines due to idiot trial lawyers...like, oh my God- John Edwards! that sue and put too much risk on the practice of making new vaccines and new drugs that could possibly help save countless lives)...Cutter replies by saying that lawsuits don't cause US companies to NOT make vaccines, that's just a myth (I assume?) We all know that is exactly why American companies don't make vaccines, yet the Kerry communications director decides, it's okay to lie about it.

This entire interview was sickening...and I didn't even mention the fact that this hack claimed that the President's current strategy demands a draft (there's no other way, she says)...and claimed that John Kerry never said Bush would bring but a draft, only that he had no idea where the troops would come from without a draft, another lie since Kerry has said that under Bush a draft is likely, which is completely untrue, and they ALL know it.

Time to Pull Out of the UN

Kofi Annan is a joke. A terrorist sympathizer for the most part, he is once again attacking the US and its efforts in Iraq. He has already had the audacity to claim that the war was illegal (which drew criticism from nations even opposing the war- because it was an irresponsible, STUPID statement)...now, he's saying that it was a bad idea and it has made no one safer (besides the millions of Iraqis who no longer live in fear of Hussein's rape squads, teams who murder children and toss their bodies into mass graves, men who cut your hands off and send them to Saddam, etc! They don't count on Annan's eyes), and that it's made the world less safe. Yes, indeed- one less brutal murderous dictator running a nation is always a bad idea- let's add more brutal thugs!

It's time the US pull out of the UN, kick them out of NYC, and form a new LEGIT world body...one that disallows terrorist nations and brutal regimes like China from taking part.

Dishonest Job Picture from the Left

Why can't the leaders of this country be honest?

It's estimated that over 2 million home based, work-at-home jobs were created in the past couple years...these 2 million new jobs are not added to the job picture that most of us look at 9well, most of the democrats look at- since they want to look at the lower numbers that don't take these jobs into acct, to try to make the current admin. look bad)...we have a loss of 600, 000 jobs according to the numbers they do choose to use, but add 2 million jobs that aren't on the list (as I mentioned), and you have a job GAIN.

These are facts. Numbers you can't deny...yet, so many want to claim there's a job loss. Why the President hasn't brought these numbers up, and why his campaign doesn't bring the numbers up, I don't know.

To claim a job loss- it's just a distortion of the truth.

Why do we allow the people in congress who run this country get away with such lies? It seems that these bitter old men and a handful of women refuse to take our lives seriously. They seem to think this is all a game- a match or some sort...it's not! We're dealing with REAL LIVES here, and partisan lies and attacks do nothing to help the American people. Which is how you can know who cares about you and who doesn't...the congressmen who want to ignore the truth (the 2 million jobs they seem to think don't count) DO NOT care about you or your family- they care about themselves, their campaigns, and their money. True leaders look at the FACTS and base their policy and their words on these.

Rock The Vote Spreading Their Usual Lies

Wanna hear a good joke? The dishonest fools at Rock The Vote claim to be non-partisan.

Check out their reasons (aka, clear attacks on the current administration) why you should vote and say they're non-partisan out loud. Have a good laugh.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
WHY SHOULD YOU ROCK THE VOTE IN 2004?
Jobs and Finances: Unemployment for young adults is typically 40-50% higher than the national average, and the current economy is no exception--about 10% of adults under age 25 are jobless and looking. While young adults struggle to get on a career path, they are relegated to part-time and temporary jobs that lack benefits, good pay and basic rights. Many are borrowing heavily: for 18-24 year olds, credit card debt increased by 104% in the last decade.

Cost of Education: Debt for college students is climbing. For the nearly two thirds of college students who graduate with student loan debt, the average burden nearing $19,000. That's nearly as high as the national average family debt burden. Meanwhile, 22% of high school graduates are unable to attend a four-year college due to cost. Many young adults leave school with debt, but without a diploma. Just over one-third of those who left school without completing a degree had borrowed between $10,000 and $20,000.

Health care: An astounding 50% of 18-24 year olds were uninsured at some point in 2002-2003. Right now, nearly 13 million 18-29 year olds have no health insurance. They are one third of the uninsured population. Turning 19 is the greatest risk to their health--that is when many get kicked off of family plans and government programs.

War & The Draft: There are 140,000 American troops in Iraq, and 80% of them are under the age of 35. With allied countries supplying only 20,000 troops, the burden of fighting this war is clearly falling on the shoulders of our young volunteers. Meanwhile, with our military unable to muster enough troops to meet its needs across the globe, intellectuals and policymakers are starting to talk about re-instating a service draft.

Voting rights : Its time to get rid of mandatory advanced voter registration. In states that have Election Day voter registration, the participation rate is 14% higher for young adults--proof that voter registration prevents voting. The voting rights of college students are also under attack--many election officials prevent students from voting in local elections, which is a violation of students' constitutional rights.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

So, in other words- the economy is horrible (it isn't)...policymakers are talking about reinstating a draft (no policy maker besides Charlie Rangell has said this- every other policy maker has said THERE WILL BE NO DRAFT), voter registration is unconstitutional? (it's not...if we had no registration, it'd be chaos.), 50% of 18-24 yr olds are uninsured? Oh my gosh- you mean that unskilled young workers don't have high paying jobs with full benefits? What is this world coming to!!? Oh, the humanity!!! They turn 19, and they're off parents plans? Oh goodness- how could companies do this? Why won't they allow kids to stay on these plans forever, raising their parents deductives and payments even higher...costing the insurance companies millions in the end? Why can't they just give healthcare away for free and hope that some rich helpful person will pay all their costs and buy all their supplies?!!

Before young people get experience in the workplace, they're forced to take jobs that lack "basic rights"?

These people are a joke. It's as if an insane person wrote the above...but, alas- it was written by a semi-powerful youth voting group. If that isn't scary, what is?!!

John Kerry Claims Racism AGAIN

Well, it seems with the modern democratic party, you can never go to low. John Kerry claims the President and the republicans are dividing the nation into black and white, gated and un-gated communities. They stole your vote in Florida, he claims. I mean, forget the fact that they looked into that and found that votes were NOT stolen in Florida (unless you consider the estimated tens of thousands of votes in the Republican stronghold in the panhandle, where thousands didn't vote due to the media calling the race too soon, thus screwing up the entire election), and that this president has the most racially diverse cabinet of ANY president in history- the very first black sec of state, natl security advisor, sec of education...the very first Asian-American secretary of labor, etc.

6 out of 15 cabinet members are "minorities."

But, Kerry claims a feeling of division, a racist attitude.

John Kerry represents with is wrong with politics...he is a prime example of what is wrong with people in general. He's a disgusting partisan hack who will do and say anything to get just one extra vote, and he makes me sick.

Kerry's Class Warfare

Top of the fold -- Rhetoric matters...

Mark Alexander

"There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily." --George Washington

As Wednesday night's final presidential debate so aptly displayed, John F. Kerry's populist rhetoric has reached nearly hysterical proportions. "In the past four years, in nearly every decision that he's made, President George W. Bush has chosen the powerful and the well-connected over middle-class Americans," Kerry said recently. "The only people George Bush's policies are working for are the people that he's chosen to help. They're working for drug companies. They're working for HMOs. And they're certainly working for the big oil companies."

"The powerful and well-connected"? This from the man who has twice married multimillionaire heiresses; a man who has multiple mansions on multiple continents; a man who windsurfs (poorly) off tony Nantucket; a man who rides a bicycle that costs more than some new cars; a man who doesn't blink at spending, oh, maybe $15,000 to jet his hairdresser cross-country for a trim.

But we digress. Where it comes to John Kerry's economic vision for America, The Patriot believes it's time we called a spade a spade. When Kerry spouts this "wealthy-versus-the-middle-class" rhetoric, he's flying a Marxist flag, and many Americans seem to be none the wiser. Are we serious, you ask? Marxism?

[For more on Kerry's collusion with Europe's most dated thinker, read "John Kerry, Useful Idiot..."]

Stop for a moment to consider the language he uses (for all his faults, Kerry is no intellectual slouch). In Kerry's view, politics should be interpreted as a conflict between the antithetical interests of the wealthy and the ordinary American. To Kerry, a tax-break for a successful businessman amounts to an attack on a working American. Policies good for big business (as Bush's are) must, by definition, be bad for labor. Kerry is singing the Democrats' same old class-warfare song, designed to divide the country (and the electorate) in their favor. But does he really believe that business owners are diametrically opposed to the workers who make their businesses possible, and that workers are equally opposed to those who provide jobs to support their families?

He must, for this is the divisive picture he paints over and over: 'Bush favors the wealthy, while I'll fight for average Americans.' But if Kerry's premise is correct, then the only solution is to dismantle our economic system in favor of something as time-tested and successful as, say, Soviet socialism. A capitalist system depends fundamentally on the premise that free economic exchange benefits everyone, whether rich or poor. The problem, of course, is that this would mean that Bush's tax cuts really do make sense.

This perspective culminates in the Kerry-Edwards argument that Bush's "tax cuts for the wealthy" have produced a medical coverage nightmare for the middle class. Despite the sheer hilarity of this diagnosis, our concern is their proposed solution. They propose raising taxes on the rich and giving the proceeds to the middle class in the form of "better" health coverage. Incredibly, they don't even try to hide the connection. Kerry shamelessly asks for people's votes in return for his promise to take money from one group and give it to another. To quote one adroit observer, "That isn't waffling -- that's pandering!"

Consider countries that have implemented such policies in the past. Economic stalwarts like North Korea and the Soviet Union certainly ring a bell. Is the erstwhile Evil Empire now our role model? This is where domestic policy meets foreign policy. To be sure, Kerry's fraternizing with the North Vietnamese in 1970-71 is not unrelated to his present collectivist economic views. John Kerry betrayed his country then because he believed socialism offered a better way of life. Given his current rhetoric, it seems not much has changed in 33 years.

President George W. Bush, on the other hand, has consistently pursued a sounder economic policy, even if his articulation is often lacking. Here, he has steadily made his case on two fronts: first, by emphasizing the need for greater productivity as the heart of economic development; and second, by arguing that tax cuts are the best way to encourage productivity. History shows that the best thing the government can do with respect to economic policy is let the people keep their money, and then get out of the way. As the President said Wednesday night, "I believe the role of government is to stand side by side with our citizens to help them realize their dreams, not tell citizens how to live their lives."

Unfortunately, the President's rhetoric sometimes has the unfortunate effect of masking much good in his economic policy; indeed, it often disguises -- and even undermines -- the very strength of this policy. To be fair, the limitations of the various media and debate formats -- 60-second debate responses and 15-second sound bites -- don't allow thorough explanations. In addition, at this late date in the campaign, both candidates are appealing to swing voters and moderating their explication in general.

Still, The Patriot believes the President must more thoroughly elucidate the effectiveness of his economic policy.

The bottom line is that when Kerry attacks Bush with his class-warfare rhetoric, Bush must attack the folly of Kerry's position at its foundation. 'Of course the rich benefit from my tax breaks, as do all taxpayers! Beyond that, it only makes sense that a fair tax cut returns the most to the people who pay the most. If we want more jobs in America, we should let the people who create jobs keep their own money!' In the final days of this campaign, The Patriot encourages the Bush campaign to speak the truth boldly to the American people, for we believe that the majority of Americans -- even those curiously undecided voters, bless their hearts -- still prefer economic freedom. Big corporations are not evil. Wealthy people are not evil, nor are pharmaceutical companies, insurance providers, or -- the greatest "menace" of all -- multinational "outsourcers." Big corporations and big investors are in fact America's job and wealth creators. They're the ones among us who encourage productivity. It's Kerry's vision of BIG GOVERNMENT that presents the greatest threat to our national prosperity and liberty.

To wit, when Kerry lectured, "Every plan that I have laid out -- my healthcare plan, my plan for education, my plan for kids to be able to get better college loans -- I've shown exactly how I'm going to pay for those," the President replied in fine style: "I want to remind people listening tonight that a plan is not a litany of complaints, and a plan is not to lay out programs that you can't pay for. ... It's an empty promise. It's called bait-and-switch."

President Bush continued, "It's your money. The way my opponent talks, he said, 'We're going to spend the government's money.' No, we're spending your money. And when you have more money in your pocket, you're able to better afford things you want. ... My opponent talks about fiscal sanity. His record in the United States Senate does not match his rhetoric. He voted to increase taxes 98 times and to bust the budget 277 times." Well said, Mr. President, well said.

The fine moments notwithstanding, in the final days of such a campaign, rhetoric tends to hide many policy differences espoused by the candidates and their parties. We the people must not be lulled into thinking the differences between the parties no longer exist, that they're all in fact Republicrats. In truth, the policy differences are real and important, and underlying the candidates' economic policies -- as with their foreign policies -- is a deep ideological gulf that no bipartisan bridge can span.

In the end, actions can say so much more than words. According to Club for Growth President Stephen Moore, Kerry failed to make public all his tax records from last year, but according to those released, his household income was "$5.5 million last year and [he] paid $704,000 in income taxes. That means their effective tax rate was a whopping 12.8%," Moore wrote. That's right -- Mr. Roll-back-the-Bush-tax-cuts-for-the-rich (himself) is paying less in taxes than most middle class families. George and Laura Bush, on the other hand, paid roughly 30% on one-tenth the income that the Kerry's brought in. Presumably, this was all legal on Kerrys' part, but this is the guy complaining about "Bush's debt" and "tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans," too.

If this is any indication of Kerry's real perspective on the surly IRS and inequitable tax code, perhaps he should be voting four more years for W., too...rhetoric aside.

Quote of the week...

"[H]is rhetoric doesn't match his record." --President George W. Bush

John Kerry's Strange Respect

I'm sure that anyone else who heard Kerry answer the question about faith and his own faith in the third debate had to be laughing out loud at his answer. I don't legislate from my faith...but, then he says it's a part of everything in his life...then he says that the bible says faith without works is dead. Which means- you can't claim to have faith yet NOT legislate (acts) without as Kerry says he does. But wait, Kerry says that the enivronment and other issues- he legislates (an act) the way he does because of his faith.

This from the king of having taken every position on EVERY issue out there. It makes it even funnier when the partisans keep chiming in that he ISN'T a flip-flopper and has been oh-so consistent the entire time. Yeah right. --------------------------

John Kerry's strange respect

by Rich Lowry (townhall.com)

John Kerry won't fight for his own beliefs -- by his own admission. Every time one of the debates with President Bush turned to social issues, Kerry sank knee-deep into a mire created by his need to pose as a kind of cultural conservative, although one who would never dare effect any socially conservative legislation.

Asked at the Arizona debate about Catholic bishops who say it would be a sin to vote for a candidate who, like Kerry, supports unlimited abortion and the destruction of human embryos for research purposes, Kerry said: "I completely respect their views. I am a Catholic. And I grew up learning how to respect those views."

Where to start? Saying that you "respect" the view that the destruction of human life is wrong is almost insulting. This isn't like respecting someone's choice to order the merlot instead of the cabernet. The view that the sanctity of all human life is paramount demands to be accepted or rejected. Merely respecting it is a weasely way of saying you reject it.

Indeed, if Kerry had a proper Catholic upbringing, he wasn't taught -- as he puts it -- to "respect" the view that life is sacred; he was taught to accept it as truth. It's not as though Catholics are instructed to respect fundamental tenets of the church as if they are the exotic beliefs of Zen Buddhism due a polite and inoffensive tolerance.

Kerry then shifted to arguing essentially that, even if he were to consider all life sacred, he couldn't do anything about it: "I believe that I can't legislate or transfer to another American citizen my article of faith." This is a sophomoric relativism that ignores the fact that our most important laws have a moral underpinning. In any case, Kerry quickly contradicted it: "There's a great passage of the Bible that says, What does it mean, my brother, to say you have faith if there are no deeds? Faith without works is dead. And I think that everything you do in public life has to be guided by faith."

So, Kerry presented diametrically opposed views on the role of morality in public life within about 30 seconds. He went on to say that his environmentalism and his poverty-fighting measures were borne of his faith. In other words, his faith affects everything -- including his position on whether the minimum wage should be $5.15 or $7 an hour -- but not how he legislates concerning life issues, because it would be wrong to legislate his morality, although he does it all the time.

Kerry ties himself into such knots out of calculation. He cannot admit that he's a social liberal who could care less whether the Catholic Church objects to unborn babies being destroyed, so long as he's getting the votes of feminists by paying obeisance to Roe v. Wade. If Kerry were to make such a frank admission, of course, it would play poorly in swing states where people have the audacity not just to "respect" the moral tenets of their religious faith, but to believe in and act on them.

Kerry's straddle is to have (nominally) socially conservative positions, so long as they won't actually serve any socially conservative ends. He opposes gay marriage, but won't do anything that might stop it from coming about. He thinks life begins at conception (or so he has said, at least once), but won't do anything to stop its destruction. He opposes partial-birth abortion, but votes against banning it, and supports parental notification, but votes against requiring it.

Asked by an undecided voter in the St. Louis town-hall debate whether he would use the tax dollars of pro-life voters to fund abortion, Kerry said again how much he "respects" the pro-life position, but didn't really answer. Translation: "Yes, he will." That is the truest indication of just how little respect he has for the moral teachings of the Catholic Church. What is it they say about faith without deeds again?

Can You Smell a Rat?

The biggest question in this piece on phony allegations of sexual harassment- "Can you smell a rat?"

I mean, I ALWAYS go back to work for people who sexuall harass me for 2 or 3 years (oh, and after years of such abuse, I never make any complaint at all, UNTIL the person I am accusing files a lawsuit because I am demanding money from them.)

I smell much more than a rat. I smell a woman is VERY money-hungry.

Kerry's Use of Race Card Killed by the Facts

Funny. John Kerry, in last night's debate, claimed falsely that Bush has never met with the Congressional Black Caucus (racists they may be for the most part), when he actually has met them at least twice...and that he's never met with the NAACP (whose chairman basically calls Bush a racist and speaks about the right as tho it's the confederacy- the NAACP is a racist group and wholly a subsidary of the Democratic party, golly I wonder why Bush doesn't meet with them?)...in the newest issue of Video Store News, they have an ad for a Bush-bashing movie that claims that America is an evil imperialist nation (funny, since any imperalist worth anything would take, oh I dunno- some LAND maybe? Considering we NEVER do this, it might seem odd that this claim is even made.), and guess who narrates the film?

Why, gosh, it's none other than NAACP Chairman, Julian Bond.

When John Kerry and the democrats in general play the ever-popular race card and claim to be lovers of minorities while Republicans, I assume, want to ultimately kill all minorities? Who knows what the left truly thinks...remember that it's a shame. Remember Colin Powell (first ever black sec. of state) and Condoleeza Rice (first ever black AND female Natl. Security Advisor). Remember Education Secretary Rod Paige (first black sec. of state thanks to President Bush)...remember Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas (appointed to the US Supreme Court by REPUBLICAN George H.W. Bush)...remember Alberto R. Gonzales (counsel to the President)...remember Elaine Chao (sec. of labor and the FIRST Asian American woman to be part of ANY president's cabinet)...remember other cabinet level "minorities" including: Alphonso Jackson (sec of house and urban development), Norman Mineta *sec. of transportation), Spencer Abraham (an arab-American, and the sec of energy.)

Surely, anyone who wants to claim Republican racism, or racism from President Bush himself is in dire need of a pair of glasses, and perhaps a working brain.

Out of 15 cabinet positions in the Bush administration, only 9 are "white" men and women. Nearly half of the cabinet level positions in this White House are "minorities," and that is a record that no president can even get close to competing with. The first black sec. of state, the first black and female natl. security advisor, the first Asian-American sec. of labor...the implications of racism become completely laughable to anyone who takes 5 minutes to look at the facts.

NAACP chairman Bond can narrate attack pieces on the president, yet he gets no flack for it- the president whose cabinet is comprised of the largest minority mix ever gets attacked and called a racist. John Kerry should be ashamed himself for trying to play the race card in last night's debate, and the left should be ashamed for constantly trying to attack the president with implied claims of racism...the media should be ashamed for letting true racists like Julian Bond say whatever they want, but attacking President Bush and playing into the liberal attacks on the man.

An Interesting Electoral/Vote Trend

When looking at the presidential race polls, and checking out the projected electoral vote count (every electoral map I have found projects a Bush win)...one big thing stands out to me. First- the obvious fact that most of the nation votes republican (democrats have a small area on the east and west coast, and Illinois solidly in the midwest- but the rest of the nation is blanketed in red (republican states.)

The electoral map from 2000 shows you how absurd the margin is. There are some larger population areas with spots of blue- but the nation is covered in red. It's red with a few blue spots here and there, not the other way around. As I said, larger population areas have blue spots in places- but that still leaves tens of millions of Americans voting red.

More than these facts is- I don't know about previous elections, but this year it seems that the blue (democratic) states are BARELY democratic at all. According to the latest SURVEY USA poll, California is 51% to 43% in favor of Kerry...New York has the biggest margin (according to the same poll) as far as I can tell with 58%-35% for Kerry. But, when you look at the red states, you see HUGE differences. Take North Dakota for example where American Research has Bush winning 62% to 32% or Texas with Bush over Kerry 60% to 37% (it's his home state of course, but ask Al Gore if that matters- he lost Tennessee in 2000.) Sure, some of these states have smaller populations, but it seems that still- they are VERY solidly behind a Republican candidate, when even large electoral vote- count states that are in the Democrats column have far less support for the democratic candidate.

That says a lot to me. Even if we take the fact that Al Gore won the popular vote in 2000, you have to think- much of these voters had to be in a few particular areas, since Bush won the electoral vote (even if he did so barely), and they covered a much smaller area of the country overall. I just find that interesting, and I wonder what it says about the country in general. Large population pockets in small concentrated areas seem to vote one way most of the time, when large, vast areas with a more spaced out population vote the other way. Like I said- it's interesting.

John Kerry's Shameful Debate Comment

John Kerry sunk to a new low during this final debate. In answering a question about homosexuality and if he thought it was a choice or not- he mentioned Dick Cheney's daughter...saying, his daughter is a lesbian, and went on from there. That was just low, even worse- it was plain disgusting.

As Jim Angle, from Fox News, noted- there was an audible groan in the audience when Kerry said that, and a conservative pollster doing a focus group during the debate was very upset at this comment.

This comment was just uncalled for and wrong. Kerry has little problem sinking to such lows, and that's just sad.

Edwards Irresponsible Promise on Stem Cells

I mentioned John Edwards awful comments in regards to stem cells (I think I mentioned it...didn't I?), and here is the quote.

Calling Reeve "a powerful voice for the need to do stem cell research," Edwards pledged Monday, "If
we do the work that we can do in this country, the work that we will do when John Kerry is
president, people like Christopher Reeve will get up out of that wheelchair and walk again."

These comments are just insane. First- embryonic stem cells, that he was speaking of, haven't had the success that adult stem cells have. From all that I have read, the stem cells that Edwards speaks of haven't been shown to do anything like the adult stem cells have. Second- every medical professional agrees, the promise that stem cells with help people walk who are unable to do so is a complete sham. We have no idea if these cells will do ANYTHING at all, and we know that if they do anything, it will be decades upon decades before they do anything significant, and they might never help people walk again. Edwards used the death of a celebrity to pander to the uninformed, and it was completely shameful. To give false hope like this is just as bad.

It doesn't matter who leads the nation- stem cells, if they ever help at all, won't do anything significant anytime soon. That's unfortunate, but it's fact.

Matthews and Kerry Lie, and Byrd Reads from Bible??

Chris Matthews is a shameless liar. On the Today show, he claimed Cheney said Iraq was connected to 9/11 and on his show on MSNBC, he showed a clip where Cheney talked about Iraq and terrorism, and 9/11.

Problem is- Matthews purposefully distorted the Cheney clips from Meet the Press where Cheney said RIGHT AFTER the clip he showed...that Saddam was NOT involved with 9/11.

Watch the video and see how dishonest Matthews is for yourself.
http://www.gop.com/News/Read.aspx?ID=4808

---------------------------------

It seems John Kerry and his wife pay a tax rate of 12.8%...but the Bush family pays 30%. Too bad very few networks and newspapers will mention this.

The Washington Post, who seems to be out to attack Bush has said that Kerry's claims that General Senseki was forced to retire was bogus, but they tried to claim that the pentagon punished him by naming his replacement 14 months in advance, which in effect killed his authority. Now, they have corrected themselves and noted that that couldn't be possible, because he made his comments about the number of troops AFTER his replacement was named. Nothing like liberal bias in the media! I thought the Post was supposed to lean right?

In other news...It's always funny watching Robert KKK Byrd (the guy who uses the N word on national television!) quoting from the Bible in the Senate, in regards to not working on Sunday, because he was upset about having to come in on Sunday. You have to laugh at the hypocrisy of this sorry excuse for a man...and even worse, you have to cringe at the thought that millions of idiots keep electing him!

Finally...if oil from the middle east is at record levels, that means that it costs companies more to buy it, refine it into gasoline, and it costs more to buy that refined gasoline. If that's the case, then how on earth could an oil company possibly be profiting from record oil prices? Kerry, once again, is clueless. It's like saying a company that makes shoes is profiting big time after the materials they use went up in price tenfold. It makes no sense.

I'm off to watch "the all stars"...fox news contributors all.

---------------------------------

Robert Kennedy Jr. is insane. He was just on The Big Story on Fox News and he claims that the first Iraq war (the gulf war) was about oil, and that we would have never went in if not for oil (odd logic that makes no sense)...and that if not for gulf war 1, the WTC would still be standing, because he claims Bin Laden hates us because of our bases in the region, and that's the only reason...I guess? We went into Iraq this time because of oil as well- he claims...tho, we have seen NO benefit in relation to oil from the war...so that logic falls flat as well.

To claim the WTC would still be standing if we had not removed Hussein from Kuwait is just insane...a radical environmentalist would be a great person to come up with this nonsense. It seems to me that ALL the Kennedys are looney. Sad.

---------------------------------

To show you how dishonest John Kerry and John Edwards are- as if you didn't know yourself with the constant flip-flopping (folks, even Bill Clinton told Kerry to stop being so wishy washy, because it would hurt him), the media has brought up quotes from John Edwards- quotes where he said Iraq was a grave threat and that we HAD to do something and that it would NOT be a distraction from the war on terror, that we could do BOTH and that we HAD to do both- the overall war on terror AND taking out Hussein, beause he had acted irrationally numerous times, as Edwards pointed out.

This is in strak contrast to what Kerry and Edwards say today- they are running as anti-war candidates, and Kerry has had at least 10 different, distinct positions on Iraq.

I will try to find his quotes from a year ago and now later.

On another note- I think this practice of making up celebrity obituaries years before they die is just creepy as hell. What on earth are news outlets thinking when they have templates for obituaries for people who might not die for decades?! They posted the Sharon Osbourne Obit template to their website.

Mondo Magic

The new A&E series, Mondo Magic, is really cool. If you like magic, especially street magic, then you'll probably like this stuff. It's in the style of walking around on the street (as I said, street magic), and finding people to do magic tricks with. The two guys are related? Friends? I'm not sure- but they work well together, and they're the best team I've seen- tho, most of the first episode was each one doing their own tricks in front of small groups in New Orleans.

I drive myself a bit nuts trying to figure out- how on earth is that possible? I couldn't even begin to tell you how they do any of these tricks, or how they learned them or created them to begin with. Very very weird stuff they do. Might be creepy, if not for the fact that we know it's all just visual tricks and illusion. Still- you can't help but wonder how the heck they just did the seemingly impossible.

It airs on Monday nights...reruns once or twice throughout the week.

I set my DVR to record all the episodes...next week (2 days really) is from Boston.

I'm almost sorry to say- I will be taping the new PBS animated series, Maya and Miguel- just to see what it's like...I like new animation, and sometimes these shows aimed at kids turn out to be really decent. Rocket Power on NICK comes to mind- great show. Or Cyberchase which actually isn't too bad...tho I usually only watch parts of it near the end to see Bianca (I heart Bianca.)

I have like 20 episodes of The District which is reairing all the shows on USA Network on my DVR...they're all from the 4th season. Now, I have all but 3 episodes of season 1, almost all of season 4, yet no episodes of season 2 and only 1 episode from season 3. Which means- I have to find a way to get all the season 4 shows on tape without watching them, then put them in order on another tape (dub them to another tape) when I get thru seasons 2 and 3- that way, I'll know the storyline better, and I won't miss 2 seasons then wonder who the heck this or that person is and what's going on. Yes, my life is THAT exciting.

I'm off to bed now, since it's 4:30 AM, and I work at 2:30.

Great Poirot DVD Set

GREAT Poirot DVD set from Amazon.com UK- it's around $190 (according to the exchange rate site I found), and it contains 31 DVD's, and as far as I can tell from my search, there is no US region 1 version of this set. 31 discs is an amazing set...and $200 isn't too bad considering what you get. I'd order it from amazon.com UK (I talk about not having $25 for printer ink, but I talk about buying this- when I had the money to buy it, that is...), which is possible with an intl. money order drawn in british pounds- I think that's their policy? But still- I'd have to buy a region 2 DVD player as well.

Speaking of region 2 players...I noticed on my computer's DVD drive- you can change the region coding from region 1 which it was set to, to another region in the world- but it says you can only change it 4 times and after that, you can't change it again even if you change the drive into a new machine or reinstall windows, tho I'm sure there's a way to work around that. It's stupid as it is- there are SO many DVD's of british tv shows that aren't even made in region 1 dvd's for the U.S., so the only way you can even get them is to buy them online and then buy a region 2 dvd player or download one of the patches to hack your dvd player and make it region-free. Oh well.

I went over to the church where my group is, for the meeting tonight...but, the fall festival is this week, and there's no parking anywhere, so I had to get out and some guy was standing in the door way talking on a cell phone- I asked him if the group was meeting there, but he was telling me they don't have ANY groups during the week of the festival, since there's no parking. That kind of sucked, I had to stuff to share. I was actually considering the Michigan trip, but I never got the volunteer form thru e-mail...I could always call the number I have and tell them I never got it and all, but I'm just gonna leave this one alone. This time.

I'm off to...I have no idea what. To watch something. Read something. Not a lot of options at 1 AM.

A Question on Censoring

Which is worse for the kiddies to hear on TV?

A cop:
"Shit"

or

2 prostitutes, in lingerie sitting in a brothel talking:
prostitute #1: "With her, I hear the carpet matches the drapes."
prostitute #2: "Big deal, I wax my floor."

So, which do you think would be worse for a kid (with parents who refuse to supervise his or her tv viewing...another word for crap, or hookers talking about their pubic hair?

The answer can be found in two words- common sense.

PBS Gives Into Pressure on Cop Shop

I have always said FCC regulations on what can be seen and heard are ridiculous- you can show a nude woman or use the F word on educational programming, yet adults can't watch a movie on a broadcast network without hearing a bleep every few mins (or seconds, depending on what you're watching)...you can show scenes where people get raped or murdered, yet you can't say "shit." It's stupid, and it is, in my opinion, a violation of the 1st Amendment. It's not the government's job to parent our kids, or even worse parent the parents! And, last time I checked, the Constitution never said- freedom of speech, except for these so-called dirty words. Some words and actions are still outlawed from broadcast TV.

This subject comes up, because PBS aired a movie tonight called Cop Shop- a movie/possible mini-series made for PBS. They bleeped out the word "shit," "fuck," and "blow job." People, they bleeped out BLOWJOB! Get real. Actually, these words aren't even in violation of FCC regulations, but PBS is cautious and has to play it safe, so they decided to bleep this stuff out. Tho, they're not outright banned words, it's a confusing thing, because they could be considered illegal words in some areas of the country- depending on community standards...plus, the FCC basically refuses to give a clear definition of what they "allow" and what they don't.

For the government to even be in this business at all- restricting what an adult can hear or see- it's patently ridiculous, and it's unamerican if you ask me. Adults should be able to do what they want when it comes to TV, radio, etc...and the government should get out of the business of trying to parent our kids.

Two nice articles on the PBS movie and their decision to bleep stuff out.

Dems Use Bogus Draft Claims to Scare Americans

The draft issue is bogus- everyone with any sense knows it. Unfortunately, too many college kids have no sense whatsoever, and the story of a draft under Bush is being circulated around college campuses, thanks in part to liberal (so-called non-partisan) group Rock the Vote, the youth vote organization that is either closely linked to MTV or actually a part of MTV.

Today, Republicans in the House demanded a vote on the draft bill brought into play by Charlie Rangell, racist congressman from New York, who claimed those in the military were disproportionately black and poor- which is bogus, and he was proven wrong by DOD statistics over a year ago. He still keeps up his campaign tho, and has used the US troops as a political tool for quite some time. His logic that Pres. Bush wouldn't have gone to war in Iraq if a draft were in place is downright absurd- that's like saying, 'let's start the draft, weaken our military, and hopefully our leaders won't use military force that often...then, once we need our military, it'll already be weakened and we'll be screwed.' Seriously genius logic by a member of the world's most powerful government. Yes, folks, that is a scary tidbit of information.

Anyhow...today the bill was killed in the House, BUT- most important in all of this is the fact that 2 members of the house actually voted YEA to actually reinstate a draft. I want all of you to know who these two men are-

Peter Stark (the stark raving madman who has made a career of rude and disgusting behavior) and Rep. John Murtha (the idiot who actually said we could not prevail in Iraq while our men and women were in the midst of battle.)

I will point out, the two men who brought this bill into congress in the first place were both democrats, and as you see- the two men who voted in favor of bringing back a draft are democrats. A draft, in my view, is clearly a violation of the US Constitution, which guarantees every American the right to the pursuit of happiness, which is obviously denied a man who is forced to pick up a weapon and possibly give his life against his will. Not to mention that pesky 13th Amendment which outlaws any and ALL involuntary servitude, except for punishment for crime- and that's exactly what "involuntary servitude" in the US military is.

So, let it be known who supported this political game, played at the expense of our young people, and let it be known who supports the government if they ever decided to force you into any type of slavery- which is what unwilling service is. Think about that when it comes to vote for these men. You should also remember the fact that John Kerry continually claims that if you elect President Bush again, he will put the draft into place, also a bogus claim that Bush has come out against, saying under his administration there will NOT be any type of draft PERIOD. Remember Kerry's bogus claims to scare young people on November 2.

A Call from Volunteers at the RNC

Nice. I got a message from someone at the RNC asking for help in Ohio for the last 5 days of the campaign. To leave Thurs evening, Oct 25 and come home Nov 3 after the election- travel to Ohio, as well as hotel food and expenses paid. I'm not sure what helping support the president in Ohio entails, and I'm not sure I could do it...but who knows.

UPDATE:

Scratch that. I called the number they left, and it's been changed to Grand Rapids, Michigan...same deal. She said it was door-to-door stuff and phone bank work. My question is- wouldn't a regular everyday, semi-outgoing person, be nervous about going door-to-door and trying to talk to strangers about voting and the president and stuff? I know that the very thought of getting on a bus and sitting next to some stranger for 6, 8, 10 however many hours away is scary as hades. Then, sharing a hotel room with a stranger sleeping feet from me is also scary as sin...and then the added bonus of knocking on the doors of strangers and calling up strangers' houses. All of it together- it's like a horror movie or a haunted house...ooohhhhhh.

I surely wish I were outgoing and could easily do things like this.

Why No Reasonable Person Can Oppose the Freedom of Iraqis

Here you can read numerous personal stories of torture, rape, mutilation, and murder by Saddam Hussein, his sons, and his henchmen, whose reign of terror lasted 3 decades- that is, until the United States, the UK, and other nations toppled the brutal regime and freed the tens of millions Iraqis in danger of becoming another personal victim of the Hussein brutality.

These stories are for the idiots who claim the "resistance" (read: terrorists) are justified in killing allied soldiers or innocent civilians in bombings, shootings, beheadings, etc. These stories are for those who voted against removing this murderous regime. These stories are for the imbiciles who choose to compare US leaders to evil dictators like Hitler. Read this stories of torture, these stories of rape, these stories of beheadings and cut off tongues and arms and fingers and feet, and tell me that it was wrong to remove the people responsible for these evil acts.

If you CAN say we shouldn't have removed these evildoers- so sick and twisted, if you lived under their rule, they wouldn't think twice about raping your daughters, cutting off your hands, and shooting your sons in the head- then, you have a problem. You are not a friend of peace, as you claim you are, being opposed to war (even if it does remove an evil tyrant), you're a foe of peace, and you're a foe of humanity. That sounds harsh, but it's fact. If your choice is to allow innocent men, women, and children to be slaughtered and not remove those doing the slaughtering, then how are you any better? How can you claim you want peace while ignoring the cries of those being maimed and killed?

How do we know the US and UK and others did the right thing in removing Saddam's brutal rule? These personal stories that describe the torture that innocent people endured for 30 years- that's how.

Veep Debate Thoughts

My thoughts on the Veep debate tonight...Dick Cheney won hands-down, in style (why this matters, I have no idea) and substance. Edwards was weak, weak, weak against veteran Cheney, and he proved to America how inexperienced and unprepared he is.

Edwards did some odd things, especially when he kept claiming that Cheney and Bush have said there was a connection between the Sept 11 attacks and Iraq, tho neither man has made any such claim. Cheney, thankfully, took the chance to point out- Edwards has his facts all wrong- neither of them have ever claimed Iraq was linked to the attacks. Edwards also tried to claim there were no links between Iraq and al-qeada. Tho, we know that's not the case, because both parties have agreed- there were connections...the regime harbored members of the terrorist group, top officials met with one another, Hussein financed and harbored training camps for the terrorist groups, etc. There's an abundance of intel to show this- and Edwards knows it- which means, he was lying. Cheney pointed much of this out as well.

Cheney had some great lines in the debate, putting Edwards into his place, not allowing him to get away with his many lies- as in when he claimed the President was dishonest about Iraq- Cheney pointed out the intel was universal and then he quoted Kerry as talking about how Iraq had WMD and must not be tolerated. A few other quotes were thrown in, and Cheney mentioned the back and forth flip-flopping that no reasonable person can deny. He even went into WHY the flip-flops started in the first place...Kerry was down in the polls- WAY down, and the lead was held by Howard Dean, the rabid, screaming anti-war candidate. So, Kerry chose to go big time anti-war, flipping his entire position to gain votes in the primaries.

Many pundits said Cheney won in the foreign policy part of the debate, but lost the second part about the economy, jobs, healthcare, education, etc.

I don't agree at all...Gwein Ifill from PBS, who moderated, did a wonderful job of asking tough questions to Edwards and Cheney both- she hit on the subject of how on earth will Kerry pay for all of his proposed spending AND cut taxes MORE for the middle class? He can't...there's just no way, tho Edwards rightly ignored that fact. The Bush tax cuts have helped ALL Americans, that's not opinion, it's fact...the numbers prove as much. The new tax brackets and the overall relief to Americans prove it as well. Taxes are one of the very few things any president can do to help an economy anyhow. Despite what many might say- the big man has little control over the economy...that's up to the consumers, the market, the world economy, etc.

As I have said a million times- the fantasy world, spend billions for dot coms in the 90's were booming times because of the tech bubble! Not because of anything Clinton did...and times are not as hot now since the tech bubble burst, billions were taken out of the economy, 9/11, two wars, a new world after Sept 11, etc.

As for education- No Child Left Behind is a worthy program, even if I oppose it. I oppose it, because government already spends enough money for education, and increases do nothing to help kids learn- you show me a school spending a million dollars failing, and I'll show you a school spending a thousand that is passing with flying colors. Money isn't the answer, it never has been; and yes, of course, it never will be. Neither man could do any better than the other until the entire system is rehauled- put more education into the private sector where companies MUST compete and do well or die, and you'll see major performance increases.

As for healthcare...well, Americans have the best healthcare in the world, and we have the best technology and the best doctors on the planet. Every American has access to healthcare with federal and local govt spending on health clinics that cater to poor, homeless, etc. Most ever hospital has a program for low income individuals as well- pay what you can or pay nothing if you can't pay at all. So, there is no major problem in the US with healthcare in general. Tho, Cheney is right- we do need to stop lawsuits that pay off big time lawyers and never really help true victims. Reform in this area would definitely save us all a lot of money, and it would boost the entire healthcare profession overall.

With Kerry and Edwards both constantly switching back and forth their positions on Iraq (they do, you cannot deny the simple truth of that matter), and Kerry's record that shows how weak he is on defense, intelligence, and national security...along with higher taxes (it's also true) and increased spending with
promises to pay off the deficit- which will eventually mean higher taxes for everyone (it can't NOT come to that- money has to come from SOMEWHERE)...The ticket hasn't a chance next month. Tonight, Cheney took Edwards to town, and hopefully Bush can do the same thing to Kerry in the upcoming debate.

Here are some thoughts from earlier tonight...
---------------------------

  • Dick Cheney- I officially love him. He said to Sen Edwards in regards to voting for the war but refusing to vote for the funding for ammo, fuel, armor, etc., that Edwards probably didn't show up for that vote- a dig on Edwards and Kerry who have attacked for being absent for SO many congressional votes due to their campaigning. That was hilarious. I assure you, no one will call Edwards the winner tonight, and it's only 25 mins into it...Cheney is killing Edwards. Great job, Mr. Vice President!

  • Gwen Ifill is a WONDERFUL debate moderator- she is much more fair than Lehrer, and she is actually questioning Edwards on Kerry's odd contradictions...she even mentioned that Germany and France have said no matter WHO is president, they will NOT send ANY troops...nothing will change that, and she asked if Edwards thought he and Kerry were being naive with their attacks and their plan to internationalize. Thank God she's doing a great job.

  • Dick Cheney: He talks about Edwards having an awful attendance record on his job...how his hometown newspaper calls Sen Edwards "Senator Gone"...he said that as Vice President of the US, he's the president of the senate, and the first time he met Edwards was when he walked onto the stage tonight. Great, GREAT comment...I have called before for the resignation in the Senate of both Kerry AND Edwards, due to their missing most of their votes and being paid for not doing their job...

Edwards, like most Democrats made an ass of himself by implying Cheney is a racist by saying he voted against a bill that would establish a holiday for Martin Luther King Jr. - I don't know what that's all about, but that comment was just disgusting.

    Note:

A danger of being a primary candidate and then going on to join the ticket of a primary opponent. Here is video of John Edwards talking to ABC, explaining how John Kerry's healthcare plan is not "affordable or doable."

You have to wonder- does this mean Sen. Edwards lied back then during the primaries or is he lying now on the Kerry ticket? Hmmm...

  • Left Uses Race Card Again (Gasp!)

The democratic party in this country makes me sick. The DNC is now running radio ads with what sounds like a black man talking to other blacks- proclaiming that the evil, bigoted, racist, probably murderous! republicans, headed by George Bush hate blacks and want to keep blacks from voting, and will do all they can to make sure blacks aren't allowed to vote.

You think this is maybe we Zell Miller has pretty much abandoned his party? You think maybe that this is why the democratic party is so full of hate today? ALL democrats should come out and denounce this ad and all ads like it, and if you're a democrat who doesn't, you're no better than those who have to invent such disgusting, lowlife rhetoric to get any vote they can.

If you're a black American, I hope you don't buy into this garbage, and I urge you to take a look at the republican party- ya know, the party whose president has the first black natl. security advisor and the first black secretary of state...and a black sec. of education, asians in the cabinet, hispanic-Americans in top positions, Spencer Abraham who is from the middle east, I believe, is sec. of energy, and on and on. Hopefully most Americans will see the racist bigotry flowing from the DNC and realize that this is not the party for our nation.

When I heard their new ad, I was ashamed to even think these people are Americans, but worse- I wasn't one bit shocked. This party is in a sad state of affairs.

Idiot Italian Hostage Attempts to Justify Terrorists

    idiothostage.gif
This woman is shameful, and it's no wonder she was freed. She condones violence by calling terrorists legit in what they're doing, and calling the brave Iraqi people who have become leaders a "puppet government," and that elections in January won't be real elections. She clearly cares nothing about the Iraqi people with outrageous comments like these, and she is clearly a sick woman by claiming the killers who murder children in Iraq are "guerillas" who are merely fighting a war of "resistance" and are not truly terrorists. Problem is- too many idiots in Europe echo these sentiments, and they're putting ALL of the world's people in dager by condoning such violence, even praising it in some level.

I feel sorry for this woman and I feel sorry for her family- she is one of two possible things- stupid or evil. I'm afraid it's most likely the latter, and that's just sad for everyone involved.

Only in Europe (or the left in America) could a seemingly reasonable person attempt to justify the actions of brutal murderers like this.

    --------------------
ROME (Reuters) - An Italian aid worker held hostage last month in Iraq said guerrillas there were right to fight U.S.-led forces and their Iraqi "puppet government."
In comments that were bound to annoy Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi's government, Simona Torretta also called on Rome to withdraw the troops it sent to Iraq to support its U.S. ally.

"I said it before the kidnapping and I repeat it today," she told Corriere della Sera newspaper in an interview published Friday.

"You have to distinguish between terrorism and resistance. The guerrilla war is justified, but I am against the kidnapping of civilians."

Torretta and her Italian colleague Simona Pari, both of them 29, were freed Tuesday, three weeks after being snatched from their Baghdad office. Berlusconi has brushed aside widespread reports that his government paid a ransom of up to $1 million.

Describing the administration of Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi as "a puppet government in the hands of the Americans," Torretta said elections planned for January would have no legitimacy: "During my days in detention ... I came to the conclusion it will take decades to put Iraq back on its feet."

Torretta, who lived in Iraq before, during and after the U.S.-led invasion, said she wanted to return despite her ordeal -- but would not do so as long as U.S. troops were there: "I've got to wait until the end of the U.S. occupation," she said.

She said she did know whether Italy bought her freedom from the kidnappers: "If a ransom was paid then I am very sorry. But I know nothing about it ... I believe that (the kidnappers) were a very political, religious group and that in the end they were convinced that we were not enemies."

    Revisiting the David Kay Report

I'm reading the book, A Matter of Character: Inside the White House of George W. Bush, and the author Ronald Kessler goes into the Iraq war and what much of the media claimed and the truth of the matter. He writes of the report from head weapons inspector, David Kay, who said the following of Iraq and it's wmd programs:

Kay found that Iraq had significant illegal weapons programs that were not discovered by UN inspectors, showing that Saddam was defying UN resolution 1441 which offered the regime a "final opportunity" to voluntarily disarm. Kay said his team "discovered dozens of WMD-related program activities and significant amounts of equipment that Iraq concealed from the United Nations during the inspections that began in 2002." They included a "clandestine network of laboratories" suitable for producing bio weapons; a prison lab that may hav been used to test biological agents on humans; strains of biological organisms hidden in scientists homes, as well as documents and equipment hidden in homes of scientists for enriching uranium, which is part of the process of making nuclear weapons Hussein could have easily given to terrorist groups (we know he harbored terrorists, sent money to terrorist groups, ran terrorist training camps in Iraq, had his top officials meet with terrorist leaders, etc.) Interviews with government officials and scientists revealed that Saddam remained intent on developing nuclear weapons. Kay also found programs used to make banned long range missiles, some of which continued to be made under inspectors' noses...the teams also found evidence of programs to make unmanned aerial vehicles that would be used to spray an area with bio or chemical weapons. They found hard drives that were completely wiped clean of all data, almost surely data on wmd programs, and they discovered areas scrubbed down to hide evidence of wmd materials.

Kay, who become a talking head, and actually started to even claim intel. failures on the issue (as he started playing to the critics of the president), said on National Public Radio that Saddam remained intent on developing wmd, that he had a "large number" of "substantial" programs to do so, and that he could quickly have "resumed large-scale production" of weapons like mustard gas. While he said it was unlikley and large stockpiles would be found, Kay said that he did know if that was because they didn't exist, or that stockpiles had been destroyed or wmd packed into containers and shipped off to syria (also a brutal regime that supports terrorism.) Kay said that he believes caches of wmd are hidden in Iraq and will never be found. He also said that Iraqi military leaders were convinced Saddam has WMD and would use them against US forces.

Kay also said that Iraq was clearly a danger and he agreed with the removal of the regime. Near the end of Hussein's reign, Kay said that he thought Hussein was out of touch with reality and that he posed a greater threat because it would be easy for terrorists to come into the nation and help resume WMD programs.

In the NY Times, Kay said, "I think it shows that Iraq was a very dangerous place. The country had the technology, the ability to produce, and there were terrorist groups passing through the country--and no central control."

All of this, along with numerous other pieces of evidence show that it would have been total insanity for any sitting president to deny the risk posed by such a regime, and the claim that the nation posed no threat is just ludicrous, considering the fact that- in reality, the first gulf war never ended. Part of the cease-fire agreement was that Saddam Hussein had to comply with all UN resolutions in regards to WMD programs, that he had to account for all material, destroy all banned weapons, and come clean- 100%. This never happened, of course, and that fact means that no UN resolutions for action were ever needed in the first place...that the original war had never been completed, that the cease fire agreement was obviously broken time and time again for over a decade.

These are the facts of the matter- facts that so many in the mainstream media choose to ignore from their reporting...they choose to leave out the most important facts of the issues in order to push thru their political agenda.

These facts make the case for war in Iraq a no-brainer. After the attacks of September 11, we no longer have the option of waiting to BE attacked, we must do everything we can to stop ANY and ALL possible attacks from any nation that threatens such attacks. We must hunt down every terrorist and terrorist supporter where THEY LIVE, so they can't make it to our nation and fight the battle in our streets.

With all this information, the VERY SAME information John Kerry had- no one can trust him when he calls Iraq a mistake. Especially after he spent over 5 years before 2002/2003 telling the nation that we needed to act against Hussein, and that Hussein posed one of the biggest threats to our national security. John Kerry, who voted for the war, based on the very same intelligence our President had, cannot be trusted to lead our nation in this dangerous time. As we can see from all the points above, we can also no longer trust much of the media in this country, for they will leave out any fact they can, and distort any subject they can to forward their mostly liberal agenda. These are scary facts, but they're true, and every American needs to wake up to this new reality.

    Misquoting the President

Liar alert! Greg Palast- one look at his website tells you he's clueless...but, he claims in his newest piece that President Bush said the following during the first presidential debate:

Our President told the debate audience, "You cannot lead if you send mexxed missiges." I certainly
    hope not.

Of course, the President said no such thing...when answering a question, he said, "mex...mixed messages." Of course, all human brains work like this sometimes- you're going to start saying one word (messages), but your brain says "hey, wait...you forgot 'mixed,' but messages has already started coming out of your mouth, so it turns into mex...then you get back on track."

Not a big lie, but it's a lie nonetheless. If you want to try to make someone look bad, or make them look stupid, at least quote them correctly and not claim they said things they never said.

By the way, many Bush-haters are poking fun, saying the president was clearly shorter during the debates...and that made him look bad. Problem with that is- both men were framed identically, and they had the exact same amount of headroom- Bush had a regular-sized podium with a short microphone, while Kerry had a very short podium with a really long mic. Both men, standing side-by-side after the debate were nearly identical in height. Many body language experts were talking on various networks about how it helps to look taller, more "stately." I just hope most people are smart enough to realize that looking at the screen, their bodies were framed identically. You have to wonder about some people tho...

    Post-Debate

The debate last night was completely pointless- since, we've heard it all before, and it was nearly fall-asleep boring. Almost all of the tough questions went to Bush, even questions attacking Bush (what major mistakes do you think he's made) went to Kerry- so, it proved that PBS is as biased as it's often accused of being. One fact I learned and am wondering about now is the fact that John Kerry claimed to have went to the Soviet Union after the fall of communism and that he was in KGB headquarters at Treblinka, tho Treblinka was a Nazi concentration camp. Big problem with this tho, because Kerry has claimed before that some of his relatvies died at Treblinka during the holocaust. Which makes me wonder- would he really forget the name of such an important place that he's mentioned several times before? Would he confuse the places like this? Or is it possible he never went into KGB headquarters at all, or maybe no family members died in the concentration camp? No telling what the deal is, but it seems very odd that he'd forget something so significant, and no one can deny Kerry is a power-hungry opportunist, who would say and do nearly anything to gain a vote.

    Breaking News from NewsMax.com

Lehrer on Defensive Over Biased Questioning
PBS host Jim Lehrer was challenged Friday morning on claims that he went easy on Sen. John Kerry during Thursday night's presidential debate, while tossing verbal hand grenades in President Bush's direction designed to keep him on the defensive.

"I don't know what in the world you're talking about," Lehrer told radio host Don Imus, in his only post-debate interview.

"I would argue that my questions were right down the middle. There were some hardball questions for each candidate. There were some softball questions for each candidate. But for the most part they were just terrific."

The bias complaint, said Lehrer, was more of a commentary on his critics than a valid criticism of his own debate performance.

Still, some observers noted that Lehrer's questions largely focused on negative aspects of Bush's decision to go to war in Iraq - while avoiding Sen. Kerry's waffling on the issue, not to mention the top Democrat's long record of opposing measures to strengthen U.S. intelligence and national security.

At one point Lehrer claimed that over ten thousand U.S. soldiers had been killed in Iraq, before quickly revising that number to 1,052.

At the end of the debate, the PBS anchorman shook Sen. Kerry's hand - with some debate watchers claiming he gave the top Democrat a knowing wink.

In 1999, the president of Lehrer's network had to resign after admitting that 53 PBS affiliates had been sharing their donor lists with the Democratic National Committee for years.

In 1997, then-White House aide George Stephanopoulos revealed that President Clinton's reelection team thought it was a major coup when Lehrer was chosen to host one of the presidential debates, boasting that "our moderator" had been picked.

Dishonest in Congress, Whiplash, and Debates

A note to anyone in Maryland or anywhere else for that matter. The House minority whipe, democratic rep. from Maryland, Steny Hoyer spoke on the floor today about the Federal Marriage Amendment, and he was completely dishonest about it and who supports it.

He claimed that it was an intolerant idea, and he compared it to racism and segregation...crazy ideas, considering that marriage isn't a right to everyone on earth- that's what makes it special, it's between 1 man and 1 woman, and it's been this way for thousands upon thousands of years. Comparing it to racism and segregation is disgusting- since you're basically calling the great majority of Americans evil people who are equal to racists! He said that it was purely political in nature, tho he never mentioned the courts are defying the people's will by trying to push thru gay marriage- proving it is NOT political. He also claimed only a small portion of the Republican party base supports the idea, which is also a lie- all the polls show that most Americans from the right, left, and center support banning gay marriage.

It's always nice to know who in the congress is full of it and who isn't. Make note that Rep. Steny Hoyer is one of the hacks in Congress who refuse to be honest.
    ----------------------------------
For any of you who have seen the Taco John's commercials...you know who Whiplash is. To those who haven't seen them- in the commercials, Whiplash is a little monkey riding on a border collie, racing to give people yummy tacos and burritos from Taco Johns. He's wearing a cowboy outfit and riding the collie like he's a cowboy- they call him Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey. I thought he was maybe something they set up for the commercial, but apparently he's famous.(1)(2)(3)

I love those commercials, and you can't help but love that little monkey.
    ----------------------------------
I will be watching the first of 3 debates tonight...but, I have to say- both of these guys come off as cowards with all of these ridiculous rules. I should actually rephrase this whole thing- I will be watching the dual scripted press conferences tonight, since the rules are so rigid, there will be absolutely no debate.

I can't even begin to understand some of the rules the two candidates wanted- they must approve each others pens and paper that they're allowed to take notes on...they stipulated that the networks weren't allowed to take cutaway shots- they would have to keep the camera on the guy talking and not show the other...the networks refused this point, so it's not going to matter anyhow. All of the rules are pretty absurd, and they make the whole debate process a joke overall.

You'd think they wouldn't have all of these silly rules- it only makes them look more detached from the everyday person on the street, since most people are looking at these rules and thinking how stupid they are. I'd love to see a candidate who with some guts who would say- let's debate, no rules, we'll just be asked questions and we'll go...the way they're planned now, they're meaningless.

    Racist Julianne Malveaux on Miller

Was watching The Varisty segment on Dennis Miller, and oddly enough Miller invited scumbag racist Julianne Malveaux aboard tonight...she's so scary, well- it's scary. I cannot stand how this pathetic woman gets a pass all the time in the media- especially on TV. I don't know if anyone has ever called her out for her disgusting comments before. I was praying another pundit on the panel would ask her who she was going to wish death on this year. If you don't know, Malveaux is the columnist for USA Today who is insanely obsessed with race, and claims racism in EVERY SINGLE THING on the planet. She lives in some fantasy world where she doesn't make megabucks for her books and speeches, but instead if oppressed by the big bad white man. At least that's how it works in her head.

Anyhow- she once said that she hoped Clarence Thomas' wife would feed him lots of eggs, so he would die from a heart attack, simply because he's a black republican, and in her sick twisted world, only people who betray their race can be republicans.

That comment alone is enough to make her a pariah, or it should make her a pariah. It's one of the reasons I would never dare pick up a copy of USA Today or any other paper that carries any of her tripe. I so wish someone on one of these shows would tell her to shut her scummy mouth up and stop pretending she even deserves the respect to voice her opinion at all. I keep waiting for someone to have the balls to do so...and I'm waiting, and waiting, and waiting...

For a further look at this woman's insanity, you can check out the transcript of this interview that aired on Fox News.
