The Myth Kept Strong by the Pinheads at Americans United

The funny thing about Americans United?

They have the audacity to quote the 1st Amendment that they completely trash every day.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free
exercise thereof..."

This is the group that demands IN GOD WE TRUST not be said in school or posted anywhere in schools...demands we not allow federal money to go to any religious charities (faith based initiatives that help people are badddd to these people.) They demand that ten commandments monuments never been seen in public areas.

Read the law people-
CONGRESS shall make no law respecting an ESTABLISHMENT OF RELIGION, or PROHIBITING the FREE EXERCISE THEREOF.

With the help of liberals like Americans Clueless...I mean, United- Congress and other agencies HAVE violated the law by prohibiting the free exercise of religion. If demanding a school remove the national model isn't doing this, then nothing constitutes "prohibition"!! The law, as I have said many many times, applies ONLY to congress, not public schools or court houses or state governments...and congress is only stopped from making laws that (if you read the letter to the danbury church as Jefferson wrote it) establish a particular Christian denomination as the official US religion. These people completely steal Jefferson's term used NOWHERE in the US Constitution (separation of church and state- which doesn't mean what it's come to mean by liberal judges, and clueless conservative judges alike), plus- they've trashed his memory by demanding a ban on public religion (Jefferson was a christian who mandated all schools he opened would teach the bible- to use this man's ideas to pervert what he said to the danbury church is despicable.)

Congress has never made any law attempting to (as Jefferson promised would not happen) establish any particular denomination as the official religion, and as mentioned- the rule applies ONLY to congress and not courts, schools, public offices, state govt, etc. It's a bogus plan to destroy religion in this country, and the fact that a so-called reverend heads the group is downright scary. Ol' Barry and the rest of his AU cronies are as clueless as possible, and they're as dishonest as they possibly can be.

Too bad much of the media plays into the lies and the distortions, along with help from the misguided courts, public officials, and others.
