Jimmy Carter's Living in Lala Land

Neil Cavuto's commentary on the failure-of-a-president, Jimmy Carter, on his show today was hilarious. He DOES come off as a bitter old man, and he's been that way for a long, long time. This guy was probably the worst president we ever had, and he thinks its his place to lecture EVERY American leader ever. He's a joke, and it's nice that Cavuto calls him out for his constant bashing of all his successors.

-------------------------------

I am completely convinced...more than I was before. Jimmy Cater is a total nutjob. First, the fact that he gave an interview to the anti-American Guardian newspaper is bad enough, and the fact that he bashed Bush throughout the entire interview is worse...but, his statements are just insane. For example, in the interview, he says this about the Iran crisis (you'll recall, Americans were taken hostage in Iraq on Carter's watch, and he never got them released- that was the work of Pres. Reagan. Plus, Carter started much of the Islamic terrorism stuff when he screwed the shah in Iran and allowed the even more brutal, even more anti-American govt to take control.):

Carter rejects the worst criticism that could be made of his administration: that his alleged
softness in the face of Islamist terrorism helped nourish the threat that culminated in today's al-
Qaida.

"I don't think that's an accurate assessment. "The entire Islamic world condemned Iran. Nowadays,
because of the unwarranted invasion of Iraq by Bush and Blair, which was a completely unjust
adventure based on misleading statements, and the lack of any effort to resolve the Palestinian
issue, [there is] massive Islamic condemnation of the United States."

Unwarranted invasion? This coming from Jimmy Carter, the biggest wuss who ever served in the White House. A man who is so perverse in his do-nothing thinking that he probably wouldn't even send American troops if full out world war erupted.

The Palestinian conflict? You mean, Bush refuses to work with international terrorist, Arafat? Yes, Mr. Arafat- let's work to solve this problem. What? You hate all Jews and demand that the state of Israel be destroyed? Well, still...surely you can work on peace with these people, and hide those feelings right? Yes, Mr. Carter- it's a shame we won't negoiate with terrorist leaders for peace deals that soon turn into twisted bribes. You promise to give us this, this, and this, and MAYBE we'll stop blowing you up. Maybe. If you do nothing, we'll still blow you up. Carter, sadly enough, is so backward, he probably doesn't realize a resolution can only come AFTER Arafat is dead and gone.

As for his statement about Iran and how the Islamic world were all against their actions...the guy is not only nuts, he has no memory. The Islamic world was, in general, civilized before the 1980's? They didn't do a thing to help Carter (and he was too bumbling a man to do anything himself), yet his role in allowing the regime change in Iran, and the hostage crisis, hasn't caused the chaos we have today? You have to wonder if this guy is living on the same planet as the rest of us.

Scariest thing about all of this...John Kerry might even be worse than this guy. At least Carter is consistent with his insanity.
