This is how desperate the left in this country is. They're attacking Condi Rice for giving speeches about security issues for the administration. They're saying that she's taking her eye off the ball by doing this, and they're saying that these are federally funded campaign speeches basically. The Bush camp says this is silly, that she's merely going out and talking to Americans about security issues.
Forget that...and remember this. John Kerry and John Edwards are both federally paid senators who have missed scores of votes while campaigning. As mentioned by Cheney in the Veep debate, Edwards' hometown paper calls him "senator gone." A few groups have started petition campaigns to force both senators to resign, because they have refused to do their jobs they're being paid for. They have spent a year campaigning and being paid for jobs they're not even in DC to do...yet the media, for the most part, makes no mention of this, and the left has the audacity to attack Rice for giving a few speeches.
Amazing.
