John Kerry, a Beer, and Baseball (he's a real guy, they promise!)

Hi. I'm John Kerry. I'm here in Ohio...a "swing state," and I'm sitting on a couch watching the Red Sox (my team! at least when they're doing so well, they're my team! or I'm trying to pander for votes!) Anyhow...look at me. I have a camera crew here, so you all can see me watching good ol' baseball with my friends, like a normal guy. What? Oh this? This is a beer...see me drink my beer, like an average guy. Average Americans like me drink beer while watching baseball (just like all of you! What a coincidence, you say? Nah...I'm just a normal guy, and I feel your pain. Cause I'm average, just like you!)

What? My favorite Red Sox player? Oh, I'm a HUGE fan of the Sox, and my favorite player ever is definitely Eddie Yost! What?! Eddie Yost never played for the Red Sox? Wait a minute...let me call a one of my staffers to see what player is my new favorite (hopefully someone who actually plays for the Sox- remember, my favorite team! Go Sox!)....

Okay. My new favorite player is Manny...wait. I'm not sure how to say his last name, but I'm certain there's a Manny somebody or another playing for Boston. Right? Right?!

Well, thanks for sharing this time with me. Just me, John Kerry- the normal everyday guy, and you...the American voter (especially you shlubs in Ohio and other swing states!) Thanks for sitting with me and sharing my beer and my love for the Boston Yankees...errr, Red Sox. Go team!
