It seems the Kerry campaign staff has forced Heinz into apologizing for her stupid comments. Truth be told, this is most likely a statement from the campaign, and Teresa probably had nothing to do with it, nor any word in what was said in the statement.

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 20 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Teresa Heinz Kerry released the following statement today:
"I had forgotten that Mrs. Bush had worked as a school teacher and librarian, and there couldn't be a more important job than teaching our children. As someone who has been both a full time mom and full time in workforce, I know we all have valuable experiences that shape who we are. I appreciate and honor Mrs. Bush's service to the country as First Lady, and am sincerely sorry I had not remembered her important work in the past."

You will notice that the statement, supposedly from Heinz-Kerry, (anyone else find it creepy she uses her deceased husband's last name?) says that she forgot Mrs. Bush was a librarian and a teacher (convenient memory loss, huh?), and she throws in the part about a full time mom...I suppose she forgot Mrs. Bush is a mother as well, and wanted to make it up to mothers everywhere who were today told they didn't have "real jobs" in raising children.
Hopefully American women will remember this statement on election day, and take into mind the fact that her husband surely can't feel much different- he DID marry her afterall, they have to be like-minded people (somewhat)...
