Rock The Vote Head, Jehmu Green, is a Liar

Jehmu Greene is a liar. The executive director of Rock The Vote, one of the most dishonest voting groups around, a group that claims to be nonpartisan, yet their website as a basic attack on the Bush administration and a list of democratic talking points, is going around STILL claiming teh draft hoax is real, and that it is NOT a myth, it is not untrue...it's all very true. The recent vote in congress that killed the bill brought by democrat (YES, DEMOCRAT) Charlie Rangell, by a vote of 402-2...she claims that it was only brought to vote because it IS real (she claimed this nonsense on MSNBC Tuesday night), and that the vote was bogus and they only voted on it to make sure no serious discussion could take place regarding it (yes, genius...no serious discussing, since it's a scare tactic being used by the left, and it's not one bit serious, being that it's phony.)

I have noticed on the rockthevote.com site that the phony draft card on their front page (funny, their very front page kills the claim of non-partisanship) DID have the signature of Donald Rumsfeld, but I take it pressure from the web forced them to change it and now it shows the signature of Charlie Rangell (which doesn't make sense, considering he voted against the bill, even tho he originally brought it up with inaccurate military stats, claiming that blacks make up a disproportionate number of front line personnel...they don't, and DOD numbers proved him wrong.)

I was disusted by Greene's irresponsible, irrational, and dishonest remarks on MSNBC, and I think she's scummy for doing what she's doing. Instead of helping young people take part in the election process, she is only tarnishing the repuation of an entire age group that she claims to want to help. She makes all young people look silly when so many young people are out there speaking out, parroting her draft issue nonsense, as if it were a real issue and a true possibility, even tho it's been completely refuted.

proving that Greene is a liar, here is part of an Oct 14, 2004 editorial she wrote:

First, the bill that the House rushed to a vote was never intended to
address the current manpower shortages. Rep. Charles Rangel introduced
his bill before the Iraq war with the hope that political leaders would be
less likely to enter into armed conflict if their own kin were vulnerable to
conscription. He also wanted to draw attention to the inequitable burden
that Americans from poor and minority backgrounds bear in fighting the
nation's wars. The short shrift given these concerns by Congress was
more an act of political theater than legitimate debate.

As I mentioned, Rangel claimed that blacks were serving on the front lines in disproportionate numbers in comparison to the overall US population...but, dept. of defense numbers proved his assertion false (they showed that a larger percentage of blacks overall were in the military compared to the civilian population, but that a great percentage of these military men and women were in service positions and nowhere near the front lines), and as the head of a large voter group, she has to know this, yet chooses to ignore the facts and insert lies in her editorials.

She should be ashamed of herself, but as I always say- scumbags usually have no shame, so it's unlikely this will be the case.

Thankfully, I, and anyone else online who chooses to expose her lies, can make it known that she is, indeed, a liar, and that she's shameful in her actions as part of rock the vote.

You fools! It's not Rangel's signature. Click on this link and go to the PDF entitled "Dissenting Views on H.Res. 776, Resolution of Inquiry on Medicare":  http://www.house.gov/waysandmeans_democrats/democratic_views/index.shtml

If you go to Page 6, you can clearly see Rangel's signature and it's not EVEN CLOSE. Keep finding those ghosts to scare your right-wing friends about. It will only help defeat George W. Bush.
