Shameless John Kerry, whose recent comments I believe are harmful to our troops in Iraq, is making more harmul comments...claiming that the White House will make a big callup for national guard troops in November after the election, which the Pentagon says is totally untrue. Fear tactics the dems always use- along with trying to scare people that blacks will be kept from voting and elderly Americans will be cut off from healthcare (both untrue.)
Kerry attacked Dick Cheney today as well, claiming that Cheney is receiving money from Haliburton (2 million dollars), and that he had something to do with that companies contracts in Iraq. 1. Haliburton got many contracts, because their one of the few companies that could take on such a task. And 2. Congressional investigators, looking into the matter, said that Cheney had nothing to do with Haliburton's contracts in Iraq, and that the money Cheney will receive from Haliburton is A. a fixed amount, and it won't change depending on how well that company does, and B. it's merely part of his retiremnt package. Kerry's scare tactics, as you can see, are based on distortions of the truth.
A new electoral poll shows the president taking over 280 votes in November and Kerry taking around 211...which means the president is the clear frontrunner...also, the new gallup poll shows the president ahead by 10-13 pts when surveying likely voters. Other polls show a closer race, but as I mentioned, the electoral votes are what counts, plus the state-by-state polls show Bush the clear leader as well. Noting these facts, it's clear to see why the Kerry campaign is using fear tactics and lies, as they become ever more desperate.
