Kerry Camp Pulls Ad Attacking Pres. with False Info.

The Kerry camp is becoming unhinged with this swift boat vet issue...so unhinged that they chose to pull their dishonest ad attacking President Bush. In the ad, they played part of a rep. nominee debate with McCain, Bush, and others...in which McCain called Bush to apologize for some guy in South Carolina who smeared McCain's service in Vietnam. I don't remember this exchange myself, but Bill O'Reilly showed the entire ad- in which John Kerry claims that Bush is behind the Swift Boat Vets for Truth- a dangerous charge that has no evidence to support it, and the ad says 4 years ago Bush smeared McCain. BUT- O'Reilly read the transcript of the exchange where the ad left off- Bush said the guy who smeared McCain did not speak for him, and he was proud of John's service in Vietnam, AND that he didn't like what that guy said about McCain OR his father- it seems the guy who supposedly worked for Bush to smear McCain also smeared Bush Sr.- which shows us that Bush was not smearing McCain with this guy in SC. Which means- Kerry is claiming attacks on McCain that Bush had no part of, and now he's claiming attacks on himself that Bush has no part of...

So, the Kerry campaign is not only being completely dishonest (maybe they decided smearing Bush was a bad idea, which is why they took the ad off the air, perhaps?), and on top of that, they're being totally hypocritical. The ad itself says that Bush needs to stop smearing Kerry- tho 1. no evidence exists to tie Bush to the group doing the smearing, and 2. Kerry, himself, is now attempting to smear Bush, with what I just showed was a blatant lie- like the letter given to the Kerry campaign from the group of veterans (not the swift boat vets group) and the White House said, John Kerry cannot have it both ways. He claims that it's wrong to attack soldiers coming home from war, yet that's precisely what he did in 1971 in front of the entire nation- and now, he's using outright lies to attack the President, while calling for an end to attacks of the same himself.

Another example of Kerry trying to have it all ways to garner favor with every group...simply change the message to suit each particular group you're talking to- too bad he's on a national stage now, and we all hear his constant flip flops and his double speak...and he can no longer get away with it without being called out on the mat.
