What On Earth is the "Latin Grammys?"

You know what's outrageously racist and stupid and it's a wonder how they even have it at all? Well, a number of things fit this description...but, I just saw a commercial on CBS for the Latin Grammys.

Why on earth is there a need for a special "grammys" for "latins?" I have no idea. How do the organizers of such a blatantly racist awards show have the balls to even pull this off? No idea. How is there no outcry of racism with this? No idea again.

We know this is inherently racist in this manner- if you took latin and replaced it with "white" every race obsessed group in America would be screaming bloody-murder...every politician in the land would be kissing up to get more votes, and crying foul over this "shameful racist display..." How is it okay to for every different "racial group" to divide themselves and have their own awards shows, their own organizations, etc- yet, if any group of whites did the same thing, they'd be called racist scumbags and bigots?

Yes, folks, racism does exist still...and it's events like these, that actually garner respect instead of shame, that ensure it will stay around for a long time to come...

Yes, and the folks who strive to stamp it out completely will ultimately fail, because some fraction of humanity cannot abide a colorblind society. It's their loss (because they stick out like a sore thumb) and our gain - best to ignore them and move on to better things.

It's not worth the effort or the grief to worry about them.

yeah. but id like someone in the media to actually acknowledge that these sorts of things help no one.
