The REAL Steal
To all the left wing whiners out there who want to claim Bush stole the election...here are some facts for you to chew on. Facts that show how the liberal media nearly "stole" the election from G.W.
I've seen this story from several different sources, each with a slightly different viewpoint, but with the same bottom line.
And not a word in major media about it.
Posted by: True_Liberal at August 25, 2004 08:28 PMyeah...sad, huh? yet, i happened upon some column today (some whack job on some all black website) about how the US is racist because we didnt do anything about haiti, and how its the bush admins fault that aristide was thrown out, and how he was actually elected yet bush was "appointed" by the supreme court.
too bad ALL the media recounts that were done STILL showed bush winning the state no matter how many absentee bush ballots you tossed out (mostly military votes). then you add this info. with data from polls actually IN the panhandle that were affected that bush would have won by possibly 15, 000. its amazing that the media continues to get away with this nonsense.

- Except for NBC Today, Tom Brokaw, US News, World Report, Newsweek, the Washington Post, The New York Times, Fox News, and at least 9 stories by CNN... according to Josh's source anyway.
Posted by: lowdown at August 26, 2004 04:40 PMlowdown needs to learn how to read. and stop playing semantics games like usual. one word- thats a figure of speech for the most part. of course, true liberal can read and im sure read the pages scanned. the point of the pages scanned was- it wasnt even given a full story, merely a mention from these news sources...and katherine harris' declaration months before, warning the nets NOT to call florida before the panhandle polls closed got NO mention at all.
