Condemnations, Kerry's Lies, and Media Bias

I am demanding that the Kerry campaign televise an apology for claiming in their new ad that the Swift Boat Vet's ad is a "front group" for President Bush.

Have you seen the NY Times story on these supposed connections? It's a joke! This group is NOT connected to Bush, and Kerry and Edwards both keep claiming that it's a Bush front group...Kerry staff members continually call it "Swift Boat Vets for Bush" on Fox News, CNN, and other news outlets.

This means, the Kerry campaign (and the mainstream media) is attacking Bush, accusing him of violating the law, by having a "front group" as a 527. That is illegal, and there's no proof that this is true.

I would also like to point out that very few media outlets are reporting the story correctly...today, not more than 5 mins ago, the reporter from Newshour on PBS claimed that Bush never condemned the Swift Boat Vet's ad- that he just did a generalized condemnation...BUT, then they played Bush's comments where he was asked about this ad in particular- and the President said "this ad" and all the others from 527 groups- who he says should be banned...AND, he has called for Kerry to come together with him to call for an outright ban to ALL 527 groups. That means- PBS' Newshour reported a supposed fact, then completely contradicted themselves with the actual words from the president- I'm surprised they didn't cut the video off so we wouldn't hear Bush's full comments, to further their clear agenda.

So, PBS skews the reporting to make Bush look bad...and other news outlets have done the very same thing. Fox News seems to be telling the truth- Carl Cameron told the truth about Bush's comments today...reporting that he DID condemn this particular ad as well as every other 527 group's ads.

Shame on PBS' Newshour (please don't fire me!), and shame on the others who keep spreading disinformation to the American people.
