More lies from Jimmy Carter-
He claimed that there is no link whatsoever between al qaeda and Hussein's Iraq...and he said the president lied about that. Truth is, the 9/11 commission's report cited a direct link between the two groups- so, Carter's claims that such a link has been proven untrue is a lie, and he knows it. Jim Leher from PBS, who is doing the interview, should do his job and challenge such lies, tho he refused to say anything about it.
Carter also claimed that Cheney has said the geneva convention principles no longer apply. That's a lie...Cheney pointed out that, legally, the convention does not apply to terrorists held in Cuba. They are not part of a nation's army, so they don't get the protections. They do NOT apply to these terrorists, so Carter lied by claiming they do and calling Cheney a liar by claiming he said they no longer apply at all (to anyone), when he never said that and what he did say IS, indeed, true.
Carter also went on to talk about how the Bush admin. and the US is a human rights abuser, that Amnesty international calls our nation a human rights abuser, etc. He then went on to talk about how Bush is a liar and there was no WMD (WMD HAS been found. and the entire GLOBE thought there were stockpiles, PLUS intel shows that there's a good chance that WMD was moved to Syria before the war.)
Carter is showing the world WHY he was a failure as president. He's a weak man who has a bad relationshi[p with the truth who can do nothing but attack others for things they never really did...

ill just mention arafat- since hes the only international terrorist im aware of that has won the PEACE prize. thank god for that decision...i mean, hes stolen billions from 'his' people and spread anti-semitic hatred to an obscene level, funded terrorism for decades, ordered terrorist attacks, runs a militant terrorist group, etc. if HE can win a prize for peace, anyone can.
carter is a whiny appeaser. he wouldnt approve of military action even if the US was nuked. hed probably talk about how we need to use compassion to solve the problem. if not for carter, wed have a semi-friendly govt in tehran, which means terrorists wouldnt have half the funding they have and thered be one less middle eastern govt to provoke such terrorist groups from forming.
