Convention Update (Trash Talking and Lies)

Convention Update: PBS just interviewed a foolish young woman from Florida who claims that her and others who voted for Gore in 2000 had their vote stolen, and that Bush's "friends" in the Supreme Court appointed him. Funny, seeing as how, as I mentioned, the left leaning media did numerous recounts and found Bush won no matter HOW you counted the vote in Florida...AND, the US Supreme Court is clearly not a Bush-friendly place overall. Ginsburg is a Bush "friend"? Not quite lady. The decision was 5 to 4 was it not? How that equals "Bush's" friends 'appointed' him is a mystery.

The dems are showing their true, bitter, hateful colors already and the convention JUST STARTED! Amazingly stupid move.

Now, a speaker (some woman) is claiming that the war in Iraq was based on "flimsy evidence" and that we are trashing our "treasured allies." More nonsense, of course. I won't even mention the truth about our so-called allies in Europe, nor will I mention the entire GLOBAL view that Hussein had WMD, nor will I mention again the entire details of the WMD that HAS BEEN FOUND and removed from Iraq since the fall of the regime. I won't even mention the millions found in mass graves, which was another reason given to go to war. "Flimsy evidence"? Maybe in the fantasyland you live in...but, lady- I live in the real world where Europe has been hating America for decades...where Hussein raped, murdered, tortued, maimed, and so on- innocent men, women, AND CHILDREN. I live in a world where lies like this, claims that the facts don't even get close to supporting ARE NOT tolerated by thinking Americans. The vitriol coming out of the first hour, the first HOUR!! of this convention is enough to make most Americans sick. Most Americans will not take this trash-talking nonsense...and they won't buy into your claims of "flimsy evidence" and "treasured allies" no matter how much you go on about it.

This is clearly going to quickly become a Bush-bash fest, and Americans will punish them for it.
