Joe Wilson's Honesty Gap

You've all surely heard of the deal with Joe Wilson- who claimed that the President misled the American public by claiming that British intel showed that Saddam was trying to buy uranium from Niger, a claim the MI6 STILL sticks by as being accurate...and now, a claim that has been bolstered by the Senate's CIA report, thanks to JOE WILSON'S OWN information gathered on a trip to Niger. Wilson still says the President is a liar, and is now working for the Kerry campaign (on his site, he writes "I'm not a politician and I'm not a political partisan." Wait...you're not a partisan, but you're working for the Kerry campaign and calling Bush a liar for announcing intel that YOU supplied the CIA? That's just the funniest thing I've heard all day. "I hate republicans, but I'm not partisan- I swear!)

Wilson was also confronted with a memo from his wife, who was outed by columnist Robert Novak as a CIA employee- Wilson likes to claim his wife is a spy, but it seems that she's just a pencil pusher...as Ann Coulter points out in her latest column- Wilson's wife, who he claims was outed by the white house to get back at him (to get back at him for intel that has been proven accurate thanks to him? not very likely!), guess what she does? She works in the office that provides intel on weapons of mass destruction! It turns out that, from that memo I mentioned, and other information, it was Wilson's wife who mentioned his name as the man who should go to Niger to do the "investigation."

This story is great...it's even better since Wilson's own site is called (restorehonesty.com- you'll also notice the text at the bottom of the site that reads "Paid for by John Kerry for President, Inc.
"), yet it seems that Joe Wilson is complete void of honest himself. The president lied (tho his own info. says the opposite), Iraq wasn't trying to get uranium (tho his own report says the opposite), his wife was never involved with any of this, and she never brought his name up for the person to go to Niger (the memo from his wife proves him a liar), and all of this is just a ploy by the vast right wing conspiracy and that damned Karl Rove to destroy him. It would be the funniest thing if it wasn't such a serious issue.

Let me be the one to say it- Joe Wilson is a liar, and people who lie and put our national security at risk are scumbags.
