Oh wow...I definitely need to unsubscribe from mailings from the AFA (American Family Association.) They are going WAY overboard with their whining about the FCC, and demanding that the FCC censor everything under the sun. CLICK HERE to see text from one of the episodes of the Fox series, That 70's Show. This is SO tame, it's scary...yet, they want their people to bombard the FCC with letters about THIS?! Come on, people...lighten up. It's not the government's job to protect children from the HORRIBLE, DANGEROUS, EVIL topic of masturbation!! This is totally silly.
In their alert e mail, they say that Fox is snubbing its nose at the FCC...which is, again, silly...since the FCC should NOT be censoring tame stuff like this. They have no desire to do so, and Americans don't want them to start doing so.
They also say in the e mail- "Click Here to see the actual content of Fox Network's indecent programming. Please be forewarned that this content is extremely offensive. If you prefer to take our word for it, simply continue with this letter."
The content is "extremely offensive?" Wow, we must have some big time pansies working with the AFA if they think this VERY tame stuff offensive...and the idea that someone should contact the FCC and demand that body punish FOX (for nothing!) without even seeing the content themselves is wrong. They shouldn't have included that message. People shouldn't be sending letters to any government agency on issues they don't have all the facts on!
What's next? Are they going to try to demand the FCC ban the topic of sex in general...? Maybe cry out if someone gets pregnant on TV and isn't married...or if someone lights up a cigarette!? Heavens, no! What is the world coming to? (AGHHH!!!)
