like i said earlier today...micheal newdow is a scumbag. he is STILL to this day using his daughter as a pawn in his futile fight and his nonstop whining and tantrum session. he stood outside the supreme court today claiming that his CHRISTIAN daughter was being indoctrinated in her school by the words "under god" being in the pledge.
a poll today shows that 90% of americans want 'under god' to stay in the pledge. newdow is in a tiny minority of godless americans who continually whine about everything. to the people who are offended by the words 'under god,' you, my friends are some of the biggest pussies to walk the earth. if that offends you, you will never make it in the real world because you are fragile little beings who cry at everything. good riddance to you fools.
as for newdow, i would like to send a letter to the court that is deciding his bitter dispute with his ex-wife over their daughter. he wants custody, yet there is no way he deserves it, especially for doing this vile thing to his daughter...using her for his own purposes. i am thinking of writing the court a letter urging them to not give custody to mr newdow, since he clearly is out to use his daughter for his own gain, and that is not a sign of a fit parent.
mr newdow- you are the lowest of the low, you are the sort of persons real americans cannot stand. frankly, you dont belong in this great country, if you ask me. thankfully, the court is leaning towards keeping 'under god' in the pledge- even ginsberg, the most radical member of the court seems to be against your position from her comments today. luckily, losers like you cannot decide the fate of reasonable americans.
Posted by Josh at March 24, 2004 05:54 PM | TrackBackMr. Newdow talks of his and his daughter's rights,
but evidently he cares about no one elses rights
by attempting to ban the Pledge of alligience from
public schools. About his claim that his daughter
is harmed by having to sit and watch and listen to
the pledge---she can go and wait in the hall
during the recitation. If Mr. Newdow claims this
may be embarassing and humiliating for his daughter to wait in the hall---well so be it!---
He was first to open "this" can of worms!!!!!
Are you (the author of this article) stupid or just ignorant... sorry, I should add "special" to the options list. If you claim to be one of those reasonable Americans, you lie. You might, however, be the "average" American (note: vulgar language, blatant ignorance of the major issue, incessant spreading of rumors, and digging into other people's personal lives.) Real Americans (which live in this SECULAR nation) should not want for God to be in politics and law (esp. in a SECULAR nation.) By involving God, you are defaming my/your/his/her/it's/our/their (depending on who or what you think the word "God" implies) name(s.) God should be in daily affair (according to a majority of religions), but not in politics. It is clear that the church is behind all this BS. They want power; they want the ignorant, pre-Galelio people to rise again)
Mr. Newdow is "using [his daughter] for his own purposes"??? How much can one gain by doing what he's doing. If he succeeded, it would only give him the glory of starting the rebuilding of secular America. This country is going back to the Dark Ages, with many of its ignorant citizens preaching protectionism (don't get me into that BS - every 3/4-brained person knows it doesn't help any nation grow,) banning of same-sex-unions and anti-abortion (jesus fu*k, you ignorant people suck [hey, it rhymes] Note: I said ignorant, not religious. I have no problem with anyone practicing their religion, but abusing it and interjecting it into the politics of a secular nation is wrong.)
"[Those that are offended by those words] are fragile little beings who cry at everything."... gimme a break you half-wit.
Posted by: HS Kid at March 31, 2004 06:42 PMhs kid...learn the english language, first off.
secondly, learn your american history.
90%+ of americans agree with me on this...so, your claim that its the "church" and theyre out to rulllleee the world is just plain hilarious.
Posted by: Josh Bozeman at April 1, 2004 01:18 PMFirst off, I want to commend the original Author for his strong and defient stance he has taken on the issue. However, there has to be another way to get your point across and usuing vulgarity shouldn't be one of them. The question that arisis out of this whole debate is, in my opinion, not one of seperation of church and state, but of edorsement because frankly, the words "UNDER GOD" do not endorse any religion. To endorse a religion, one {a school district or other state dept.} would have to endorse just one religion, and the words "UNDER GOD" to me, does not endorse any one religion in particular. If you are truly ignorant enough to think that, As the author wrote, you do not belong in this GREAT country.
Another point needs to be made. As the author of the opinion before I has claimed, he is not using his daughter. I disagree. MR. Newdow is using his daughther and you must be living in a blind world not to see that. It is true that he has no standing any legal mind could tell you that, but more importantly, as one has stated before, his daughter has became a PAWN for his fight. I would love nothing more than to see an AMERICA without Mr. M. N., and I believe America, who I might add is only 2% atheist, would much rather live in a world with religion than without. Who else is going to teach our children morals that parents dont, surley not the author before me, since he is blind.
Just a few thoughts from a college boy. GOOD DAY....
I think he is a big dumb butt!!! Somebody should write the words "under God" on the back of a pan and bang some sense into his dumb head!!!
Posted by: Kay at April 1, 2004 04:48 PMyes, "godless americans" will never make it in the real world. take michael newdow, for instance. the blubbering idiot has a law degree and a medical degree. the acquisition of two professional degrees obviously translates into failure. also, quoting from the poll: "the ap poll, conducted by ipsos-public affairs, found college graduates were more likely than those who did not have a college degree to say the phrase "under god" should be removed." take that as you will.
I would urge YOU to write that letter to the court. through your writing, i feel that you could very accurately convey the intellect of those who hold viewpoints similar to that of your own.

Posted by: Hailey Zucchini at May 5, 2004 09:35 PMno idea what his daughters name is. its out there tho, i think?
Posted by: Josh at May 5, 2004 11:47 PMYour repeated characterization of Michael Newdow as a "scumbag" expose you as the legitimate target of the term. If there was a hell, I would invite you to go there.
Posted by: Peter Turner at June 2, 2004 10:46 PMyeah, youre right. hes a nice guy when he uses his daughter by lying and making her the center of a huge controversey that she never asked to be a part of. i pray youre not a parent!
