Terrorism in Madrid

Terrorist attacks in Madrid, Spain...an arabic letter found in a van nearby with explosive materials. A probable connection to Islamic terrorists. When will people wise up and realize that Islam poses the greatest threat this planet has ever known? A religion that is, at its core, violent- why is anyone surprised?

We need to stop playing kiss-up and calling it a "religion of peace," when we all know that just isn't true.

So what do you propose we do about this "greatest threat the world has ever known"?

"When will people wise up and realize that Islam poses the greatest threat this planet has ever known?"

- When the majority of those who follow the Muslim faith commit violence. As it stands now, only a small percentage of those who are muslim are guilty of terrorism and only a poorly educated idealogue with no understanding of elementary logic or historical relativism would believe that the Islamic religion is a significant threat to the world.

"A religion that is, at its core, violent- why is anyone surprised?"

- Is it's core any more violent than Christianity's?

- Consider the story of Noah's Ark: according to Genesis 7:21 God saw to it that "all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man: all in whose nostrils was the breath of life". You could argue that he punished the humans for disobeying him, but about the innocent animals? What did they do?

- Didn't God flagrantly destroy Sodom and Gomorrah with "brimstone and fire." (Gen. 19:24)

- Didn't God order Abraham to kill and offer his SON Isaac as a burnt offering? (Gen. 22:9-13)

- Didn't God threaten to kill Moses because his son wasn't circumcized? (Exodus 4:24-26)

- Doesn't the Bible describe God as a "man of war"? (Exodus 15:3)

- I won't even go into the callous indifference he displays in the book of JOB...
