umm okkkay? interesting. we all know moore is a liar. and i support bush- oh no, gasp! and im not quite sure theres a point to be made here...by george here, that is.

OK kids. Try and calm down. Let's all watch CBS news 60 minutes tonight (1/11/4) and there we will see what an estranged Bush Cabinet member has to say. It is my belief that Bush is not a bad guy at heart and he's doing what he thinks is right for us. That does not mean it is. If on 9/11 the majority of the hijackers had been from North Korea the headlines would have read "North Korea attack U.S." or if they were Chinese "China attacks U.S." but they were SAUDIS! so it read "terrorists attack U.S." We can't touch the Saudis because if they pulled there money out of our economy it would collapse. Also they are close friends to the Bushs. In fact Prince Bandara is known to George I & II as "Bandy Bush". I don't mind our leaders being friends with the rulers of other countries UNLESS THOSE LEADERS ARE DESPOTIC DICTATORS!!! The Saudis have one of the worst human rights records in the world and our government has propped up this tyrannical regime with weapons and money. The people of Saudi Arabia hate us! Why? Because they have watched their relatives murdered by U.S. Apache helicopters flown by the Saudi Militia. Of course we are starting a new terrorist breeding ground in Iraq now so we need not worry about the one in Saudi Arabia alone now!! I think that when our leader (who is not an evil person) has to lie to take us to war then we are a lot closer to running out of what we can all agree is not an infintite supply of oil. SO where do we go? We need to build love for America in foreign hearts NOT suicidal hatred! I say "five year plan" to get everyone on the planet potable water. Then chilren will associate the American flag with freedom and free water, NOT with the unexploded cluster bomb that took their leg!! Time is running out. Hey, Steve here. I just wanted to adress your statement about you not knowing about attacking Iraq is making us less safer. I think it's a truth that Mike Moore speaks, that in large part we breed terrorists by not helping those less fortunate than the U.S (ones with millions of people starving and working for penny wages), and by doing that, and bombing countries, and dishonory them, we breed people to grow up hating our country, so they attack us, like on september 11, the people that came from a country so poor it's not even funny. It's time the U.S takes responsbility for it's actions. In Iraq, the U.S does such things as use "smart bombs" to get the bad guys, and end up killing thousands of innocent Iraqis, who is really the bad guy here? Michael made a good point when he said

also- your statement about the US breeding terrorism by not helping others defies reason, since we give trillions to countries across the globe for all sorts of programs that feed, clothe, care for the sick, etc. we give billions to fight aids in africa and other parts of the world, even tho HIV is a very tiny problem in the US. we rebuilt countries after WWII- the enemies' countries! we are rebuilding iraq today. to say that we breed terrorism by bombing countries but not helping them goes against all the facts.

Hey I'm not much for making a fuss over the internet, thats just silly, But its nice to know we live in a country where discussions like this are alowwed, right? Everyone needs to see the big picture here, there are people out there who are hell bent on killing as many innocent americans as they possibly can, I know that in the past our goverment has undoubtedly rub these people the wrong way, but nothing can change that now. What happend on 9/11 was a national tragedy that touched us all in a very negative way. If you had lost a love one that day, do you think a diplomatic solution would satisfy you? No, you would want somebody's head for this. There is no winning this argument- The minute he (Bush) declares the Saudis are despotic and evil and the oil stops flowing then he will be condemned for not doing enough just as soon as the fuel costs go through the roof. We pay well under half what most of the world pays and we bitch continually. There is no alternatives. BTW, what happened to the stories from yesterday of scrap metal dealers in Jordan and Turkey taking delivery of functional components of rocket motors and gas centrifuges that were shipped from Iraq as scrap metal- These are WMD components and had been segregated in the scrap dealers yards for later use or disposition. This kind of fact does not fit trite sound bites by Micheal Moore nor does it help with his quest for money and power therefore he ignores it.

I'm what I would consider an independant, so I'd like to think that my opinion is more objective than either of the two aforementioned gentlemen. In the final analysis it's blantantly obvious that David is an etreme idealogue, without much more than his dogma to form his opinions. Obviously facts aren't something he holds much stock in. Most of what you say David is left wing rhetoric, at least Josh attemts to cite facts in his arguements, which automatically makes his assertions more credible. For you to brand Bush as a "neo-nazi" is quite laughable. Can you back this statement up with any fact whatsoever David? How can you compare Bush to Nazis? Has he systematically tried to murder a race of people? What country has the US tried to annex? (Before you answer you should consider the June 30 date).
